New Hotness
“Girl, you won’t belive who w,” w,” Janese said. She was laid back chillin’ in Toya’s house.
“Girl who,” Toya asked, sipping some of her lemonade. Janese and Toya could pass for sister, but LaToya just had darker skin.
“Jett Jackson and his daddy!” Janese practically passed out from the thought of his honey eyes and his muscles. God his muscles!
“How did you meet him,” Toya asked, well into the conversation.
“His father almost hit me with his car.”
“Girl, you better be lying! What did you do?”
“I started giving him a piece of my mind, ‘til I saw the spilt coffee in his lap,” Janese giggled.
“Did he burn his ding-ding?” Before Janese could answer, a guy came walking around the corner.
“You better be discussing my ding-ding,” he said, and straddled Toya on the couch.
“Justice get off me you heavy!” That can’t be little punk Justice, Janese thought as she looked at him. He turned around and saw Janese looking at him.
“Wzup girl,” he said, giving Janese a hug. It had only been a coumontmonths that they hadn’t seen each other but Justice must have hit a growth and fine spurt overnight.
“Hey Justice.” He was a honey walnut version of Jett, with green eyes, the same gorgeous body and hair. “Aren’t you looking like the ladies’ man.”
“Yea, I know,” he said, swiping his nose with his thumb.
“You mean my man,” Toya corrected, getting off the couch and kissing him on the back of his neck. Justice turned around and craddToyaToya in his arms.
“Girl you better stop that. You know what that does to a brotha.”
“You mean to tell me that you two are a couple,” Janese asked.
“Yea, this my baby,” Justice answered and kissed Toya on the lips. “I’m about to go ball at the rec.” Janese watched him pick up his gym bag. Just looking at Justice made her think about Jett. Should I have told him my nashe she asked herself. Naw, that would have made me look fast.
“Toya let’s go,” Janese said. “I want to go see some peoples.”
“All right,” Toya answered and grabbed her purse.

“Why do you call dad Sweetwater,”Jett asked his uncle. Will, Gloria, Jett, and Wood were sitting on the back porch at Will’s house.
“Cause your daddy was quite the ladies’ man,” Will answered, looking at Wood.
“Jett doesn’t need to know about my old ways,” Wood said. “Jett, don’t you want to meet some kids age age?”
“Yea, actually I do,” Jett answered, jumping out his seat.
“There’s a rec center down the street,” Gloria said.
“It’s right down the street,” Jett asked, getting excited. Gloria nodded her head.
“Walk out the house and walk down to your left about three blocks and hang another left. It’s right there.” Jett walked in the house to change his clothes. Before he leftsaidsaid goodbye to his father, then headed on out.

Janese and LaToya walked in the rec around eleven. In the gym, the guys were holding a three on three tournament. Janese saw all the guys she and LaToya would beat up on from time to time.
“Janese, let’s see who’s out back,” Toya said. When they turned around they saw Jett standing behind them. He had on a white t-shirt, white basketball shorts, and white Jordan’s. Janese felt the heat go all through her body and stop at the special spot between her legs.
“Hello again,” he said, walking towards him. Jett had to fight over the strong urge to grab her in his arms and keep her there.
“Hi,” Janese said.
“I think I’m about to pass out,” Toya said and ran to the bathroom.
“Thank you,” Jett said, after they were left standing alone.
“For what exactly,” Janese asked, folding her arms across her chest.
“For not screaming or attacking me.” Janese let out a small laugh. “I don’t get it,” Jett confessed.
“All you do is act. Now if you paid my rent, took care of me, bought me anything I wanted, then I would be screaming and attacking you. But you do none of those things, so shoushould I bother,” Janese asked. Homegirl was lying through her teeth and she knew it. All she need was five minutes.
“I have much respect for you. I know how me met wasn’t under the best circumstances, but I would like to make it up to you since you didn’t accept the ride,” Jett stated.
“We just met and you’re already asking me out. You don’t even know my name,” Janese said.
“It’s just that I see something in your beautiful eyes that I’ve never seen before.” Janese stepped back, amazed at what just came out his mouth.
“I don’t know what kind of girls you’re use to kissing your ass and hanging on your every word, but I’m not that kind of girl,” Janese said, rolling her neck and snapping her fingers. Now she was drawing a lot of attention. There were already a pack of girls staring at Jett.
“Could we go outside and talk please,” Jett asked. Janese walked outside and Jett followed. They sat down on the bench that was resting under a tree. “It’s nothing like you think,” Jett started to explain. “Just give me a chance to prove to you that I’m not like all those other celebrities. I’m a gentleman and you’re a lady. I can already see that.”
“How do I know you’re for real and not just using your good acting skills,” Janese asked. At least I’m a good actor, Jett thought.
“If you let me take you out, I give you my word, you will have the time of your life. Nessie please.” Hold up! Nessie!
“Did you just call me Nessie,” Janese asked.
“I heard your friend call you Janese and the name just popped into my head. It doesn’t bother you, does it?”
“No it’s actually kind of cute.” Janese twirled a couple strands of hair around her finger and smiled.
“You have a beautiful smile Janese,” Jett commented.
hankhank you,” she said meakly. Jett was setting her fire ablaze but she didn’t want him to know.
“Can I have your number so I can call you,” he finally asked.
“Sure. Do you have any paper?”
“No.” Janese pulled a pen out her purse.
“ me me your arm.” Jett obediantly gave Janese her arm and she wrote her number on it. Just a simple touch gave Jett a hard on. He prayed that Janese didn’t see even though see probably did. It was a pretty hard thing to hide in basketball shorts and Jett was packing a pretty healty package. Just as Janese was finishing, LaToya came outside. “Call me tonight,” Janese said.
“Why should we have to wait,” Jett asked. Janese looked at him then at Toya.
“Okay then. I’ll be home in about fifteen minutes.”
“It’s a date then.”
“Never assume Mr. Jackson, just call me.” Janese and LaToya walked down the street and Jett walked back to his uncle’s house. Once Jett was out of sight, Toya and Janese started joking. “Girl, Jett got a hard on when I wrote my number on his arm,” Janese screeched.
“For real! Is he packing,” Toya asked.
“Packing ain’t the word! I got a date with him.”
“Go girl,” Toya screamed. “I got to get home and get ready. See ya.\"
“Call me when you get home.” Janese half ran half walked back to her grandmother’s house. She couldn’t believe how her luck was going. She had a date with Jett Jackson himself!
“Girl who,” Toya asked, sipping some of her lemonade. Janese and Toya could pass for sister, but LaToya just had darker skin.
