Under the Ice...
Ch.4:Under the Ice Lies Warm Water
Felix was a lot calmer the next day. He slept most of the day except to eat or groom himself. It made doing the chores a lot easier for Alvino when the cat wasn’t trying to pounce on him every minute. Currently the white rabbit was putting up clean dishes when a set of arms wrapped around his waist.
“Play with me, Alvino.” Felix whined as he rubbed his head against the rabbit.
“I have to finish my chores.” Alvino responded as he continued to put up the plates, high in the cupboard.
As he tip toed to push the plates in, Felix lifted up his tunic, the action caused the rabbit to startle, but luckily he caught the plates. Felix continued to stare at his naked rear as he pushed the plates onto their proper shelf.
“You shouldn’t hide such a cute tail.” The cat stated as he fondled the cotton tail.
Alvino shivered at the touch and his hands fisted on top of the sink, “Stop it, Felix.” He whined.
“Here, let me help you.” The cat said taking a sharp nail and ripping a whole in the back of the tunic so that the rabbits white tail could poke out.
Alvino turned around quickly, a red blush decorating his cheeks, “Y-you don’t think she will get angry?”
Felix smirked, “Of course not. Mine is the same way.” The cat turned around to show off his tail.
The rabbit nodded, felling a little relieved, but still a little freaked out by the sudden groping. At the sound of the front door opening, the two ‘pets’ went to go greet their Masters. Alvino reached the Masters first.
“Ms. Celia, welcome BACK!” The last word was shouted as Felix pounced on him, making the rabbit fall to the ground.
Alvino looked up to see Celia shake her head and scowl at her brother, “Control your cat!”
Alvino tried to sit up, but Felix pulled him into an embrace so that his rear was up in the air. “Look at his bushy tail Celia!”
The rabbit blushed and hit the cat fiercely across the face. Tears swelled in his eyes from embarrassment as he glared at Felix before running off to his room. He closed the door before falling to the bed to curl up and sob. Did the cat have no decency? Did he not think? Apparently not.
The door to his room opened and he sat up to yell at the cat, only to realize it was his master Celia. Quickly he stood up and wiped away his tears, “M-Ms. Celia…”
She held up her hand to stop him from talking and Alvino closed his lips together in silence, his hands fisting the front of his tunic in nervousness.
“I made it so that Felix will be sleeping with Evan tonight and they will leave tomorrow afternoon.” She dropped her hand signaling him to speak if he wanted.
“Thank you, Ms. Celia.” Alvino murmured still looking at the floor nervously.
“Your tail is cute.” She said as she gently.
Alvino looked up, startled, with a dark blush on his face. He didn’t know how to respond to that. He had to swallow just to catch his breath that seemed to be stuck in his chest. His heart began to flutter quickly as Celia approached him until she stood almost toe to toe with Alvino. Her elegant hand lifted to brush against his cheek lightly, making his rapidly beating heart skip.
“You are beautiful.” She whispered before leaning forward to kiss he forehead.
Alvino closed his eyes trying to calm himself at her gentle touch as she continued to kiss his temple, then his cheek; he let out a slight gasp as her lips just barely touched his in a butterfly like kiss.
“Sleep well, white rabbit.” She whispered to him before she left the room, the door closing with a soft click.
Alvino’s eyes opened slowly as he stared at his empty room. Did Celia just…He gulped, she never said that she wouldn’t use him. A dark blush crept into his cheeks as he imagined what the tall woman would do to him, with those icy blue eyes staring at him with that odd warmth she only showed to him. He shivered for the thought wasn’t unpleasant. He moved to his bed and slid under the covers, his head hit the soft pillows and he fell peacefully into sleep.
