Warning: Slight violence (aka: lesser demons being killed)
--------------------------
Ethan... I have no resentment toward humans who enjoy doing this kind of thing, but if you insist on me playing this device any longer, I will intentionally break it."
Atrer's patience was growing thin. After last night, Ethan had begged the demon repeatedly until he had given in and played the game again. Atrererus didn't want to be cruel to the human, but he didn't enjoy playing the irritating games with him. Then there was the fact that Ethan wouldn't stop begging until Atrer had given in. This left him few options. Eventually, he had simply given in. That had been two hours ago however, and Atrer had gotten irritated. He had to transform his hands, because his claws hadn't been made to handle a game controller. That, and due to the fact he had never touched a game like this in his entire existence made him terrible at it.
Ater stood, ignoring the whining of his human. He was sure Ethan wouldn't push him however. He did not lie, and Ethan didn't want his games being destroyed.
"Can you play again later?" Ethan asked softly.
Atrererus paused. Would he grant the human that much? "Yes. But afterward, I am feeding."
Atrer wanted to smirk when the human blushed. Ethan still acted like an innocent virgin. It was rather endearing, even to the demon.
"Alright then. Now, do as you wish. I am going out for a while. I wish to go feed from lesser demons."
Ethan made a face, but nodded, causing Atrer to chuckle. "As much as I take from you, taking from other creatures like myself brings me more power. I shall return later."
Without waiting for his human to respond, he left, entering the demon world without hesitation. The area was quite familiar actually as it was the area Ethan had ended up in by mistake. He heard the growling of the small creatures. They were too ignorant to realize he was a threat. That fact made Atrererus wonder how they managed to survive at all, but he let the thought slip.
His teeth grew longer and sharper as large bat-like wings burst from his back. His body was shifting. Eventually, he looked hardly anything like the creature Ethan was used to seeing. One might even call him grotesque, but that didn't matter in the slightest.
His body was now hunched over, and there were various horns and spikes protruding from his body. His skin had become more crimson than black, leaving him looking almost bloody. His claws and fangs were elongated. He imagined Ethan would scream if he saw him, and the thought made him let out a sinister sounding laugh. It was cut off though when one of the creatures attempted to charge him. With a smirk, he easily tore into it, letting the blood spatter. Without hesitation, demonic instincts rose and his teeth ripped the creature apart.
He savored the taste of flesh on his lips, before moving on to the next creature. Then, he moved on to the next, and the next. Creature after creature was torn apart under his claws and teeth. It tasted amazing. Grinning, he bit down on one that was still screeching to get free. His teeth destroyed the creatures throat, and all that could be heard was a gurgling, before it grew quiet. The creatures had mostly fled, finally realizing they were no match for the giant demon who had entered their cave.
Dropping the creature, he contently began to shift back. His belly was full of demonic flesh, and he felt extremely good. Now he would return for a different kind of feeding. Chuckling, he realized he would have to clean the blood from him first, lest he terrify the poor human.
Before the darkness fully wrapped around him however, he felt himself being pulled, not unlike he normally would have felt, but it was stronger. The darkness fully enveloped him, and though he had been planning on returning home, he found, that when it cleared, he was in a large hall. There were rather violent, but well made statues and portraits around the room. There were also gems and riches adorning a few large pillars. At the end of the hall, there was a large throne, a demon sitting upon it.
The demon was extremely large, far larger than Atrererus was, and had large bat-like wings, that if fully expanded, spanned the width of the hall. Its skin was a sickly looking pale, but there were streaks of red in various places. Instead of hair, his head held four large horns, surrounded by strange looking black things that looked similar to long snakes. It would have reminded Atrererus of a Medusa type of creature if they had moved, but they did not. The creature also had large fangs and claws, larger than the ones that Atrererus usually had.
Despite the room and appearance of the demon, Atrererus was not impressed.
"You could have simply sent a demon to fetch me, rather that intercepting my travel, Leorie."
"Yes, I could have, but where is the fun in that?" The demon asked in a bored tone.
"There isn't, but I could have been doing something important."
"You weren't though.. Don't even try to lie to me.." The demon laughed whimsically. "That is a wonderful look for you, Lord Atrererus." He said cheerfully, addressing the fact that Atrer was covered in blood.
Atrer sighed. "Is there something you would like, or have you summoned me here for no reason?"
Leorie chuckled. "You never did enjoy talking to me when you didn't have to.. Fine. Straight to business, as always. You took some of my gems. Not that I mind, since you have full permission to use them, but you took a few. I'm afraid my curiosity has gotten the better of me. What brought on the need for them?"
"You know, Leorie, as the humans would say, curiosity killed the cat."
"Yes, but satisfaction brought it back." He chuckled. "No games. Tell me."
Atrererus sighed. "Well, if you must know, I have taken in a human. The gems are to energize a few things from the human world to keep him entertained."
Leorie clapped his hands together. "I had thought that the rumors were a lie. You have truly taken a pet? Such wonderful news!" The demon exclaimed.
Atrererus let out a soft growl in irritation. The fact that other demons were talking about him made him slightly angry. "Is that all you wished to discuss?" He asked the demon, his voice clearly expressing his irritation.
"Now now, don't take that tone with me. I am simply glad for you. Having a human will only make you stronger. When shall you bring him to see me?"
Atrererus froze. He hadn't intended to bring Ethan to see anyone but Tresporian. Leorie clearly read him before Atrer could mask his emotion. The demon hid a smirk.
"Perhaps later, once you've.. cleaned off, you could bring him to see me. Perhaps I could even sample him?"
The grin on Leorie's face made Atrererus glare at him. "I'd rather you not. I'd rather him remain alive..."
"Oh, I'm sure just a taste won't cause too much damage. I'm sure YOU haven't even tasted his blood yet." The glare he received from Atrererus proved to the greater demon that he was right. "Now, calm yourself. I won't really hurt your little human. I just want to see how well he has been broken in. He had been a sacrifice, correct?"
"Yes, he had been, and I've been doing my best to keep him from pulling away from me completely."
"Yes, as I do recall you enjoy them willing?"
Atrererus sniffed slightly. "I do. I can't feed otherwise, and it's not as satisfying when they're drugged." He said, which was true.
"So tell me.. How have you earned his willing participation? What have you promised the human? Beauty? Power?"
Atrer gritted his teeth slightly. "The retrieval of his partner, who has been given to Tresporian."
"You jest."
"I do not. Now he will willingly bed with me."
Leorie made a face. "Surely you do not mean to actually follow through with your promise though?"
"In the long time that you have known me, I thought it would have dawned on you that I do not like to lie, even if it is to a human. The only thing that I would bother to conceal is my nature, and since this human already knows that, I have no reason for dishonesty."
Leorie rolled his eyes. "Are you sure you are a demon?"
"Yes, I am sure, as I am sure that you know as well."
"Yes, yes I do, Lord Atrererus." He made sure to put emphasis on the word 'Lord', knowing perfectly well that Atrer didn't like it. "Now, if you plan on gaining Tresporian's new pet, I'm sure you have something to offer him in return?"
"I.. was getting there." Truthfully, he hadn't thought of anything to give Tresporian in return for the human.
"As I thought. I will help you, don't fret." With a snap of his fingers, a long sword appeared before him. To a human eye, it appeared normal, but both demons knew differently. "This blade is spelled, crafted by demons. It's rather rare, and when fought with, will instantly drain the energy of those it kills, feeding the one who wields it."
Atrererus eyed Leorie warily. "I am not foolish enough to expect charity from you. What is it that you wish in return?"
A laugh filled the room. "You know me so well, Atrererus. I will not hesitate then. I wish a taste of your human." Before Atrererus could protest, the demon continued. "I told you earlier, I shall not actually harm him. I only want a taste."
Atrererus didn't object. He knew that Leorie wouldn't kill his human. "Fine. Do you still wish to see him soon?"
"Of course!" He said cheerfully. "And when you have made your bargain with Tresporian, you may call on me to oversee it."
Atrererus nodded. It was better than he could have hoped. When a demon made a deal with another, they often payed tribute to a stronger demon to oversee it, to ensure that neither side tried to break the deal. If that happened, the greater demon would act.
"Fine then. Allow me an hours time to collect him and get him ready for our return here."
"Do as you wish. I shall be waiting for you to return with your little pet."
Managing not to have an attitude, Atrererus nodded. Without a proper goodbye, he let the darkness bring him home.
Unfortunately for him, he had forgotten that he was covered in blood, and ended up scaring the poor human who was still playing games.
"Calm down. There is no time for you to run around like a fool. I want you to get dressed. We have to go see someone."
Worry slipped onto Ethan's face. "See someone?"
"Yes, we need to see someone. I'm going to go wash, then, after a minute, you will join me. Then I will dress you, and we shall leave. Don't worry that much. He is far less likely to harm you like Tresporian might."
When Ethan nodded, Atrererus turned his back on him and walked to take a shower. Most demons left the blood of their kills on their body, or simply used a spell to clean themselves. Atrererus enjoyed showering though. When a more modern shower had been invented, he hadn't hesitated in adding one to his home. The water was relaxing and he didn't have to waste magic to clean himself. The energy was supplied by the magical stones.
Quickly, the hot water washed the still drying blood from his body. He was glad he had told Ethan to wait to join him. The human would have likely fainted seeing the blood coming from him. A minute after it was gone, Ethan joined, and Atrererus stepped out. He went to the main room and wrapped a cloth around his waist. He didn't bother with much clothing. It usually got in the way.
He looked around, gathering clothing for his human to wear. He picked up a plain pair of black pants, a slightly old fashioned black tunic , and a long black cloak. The cloak had a hood, that would conceal the human until Atrererus decided to let him take it down. He didn't want others to eye him, and it also prevented Ethan from accidentally making a disrespectful gesture to anyone. Deciding that this would also work for the meeting with Tresporian, he waited for Ethan to finish washing. He let Ethan dress himself, before looking him over.
"Put your hood up, and do not say a word until we get home. This someone I have known for a long while. Simply do as I tell you, and everything will be fine."
Ethan nodded his head, obviously terrified, but there was nothing Atrererus could do about that. Wrapping his arms around the frightened human, the darkness surrounded them, and they were gone.
----------------------
"Leorie?" Atrer called. He had arrived in the throne room that he had been pulled to earlier. He was surprised to not find the demon on the throne. He supposed though, that the demon had only been there to make himself seem more important when he had pulled Atrererus to see him. Sighing, he called the demon's name again.
There was a strange kind of popping sound, and a small demon that looked like a miniature version of its master appeared. "Master Leorie has instructed me to bring you and your pet to his library."
"Then do so." He ordered the creature, who squeaked nervously. It reached out and took hold of Atrer's arm. In turn, Atrererus took hold of Ethan, and they were once more traveling. Instead of being surrounded by darkness though, they were simply in one place for one moment, and another the next.
Atrererus held back any irritated remarks. Traveling that way had always left him momentarily disoriented. Regaining his composure, he looked for the demon. It didn't take long, for Leorie was sitting on a large, comfortable looking couch. Around them, were shelves and shelves of books, that looked like the stretched on for miles. Atrererus knew they probably did. Leorie had an obsession with books, and with every new book that came into existence, another book entered his library.
Leorie grinned upon seeing Atrer. "Ah.. Glad you decided to return. Come now, make yourself comfortable." He told him, gesturing to another large couch across from him. There was a table in between the two, making it look rather like a normal human lounge, but Leorie did always enjoy his comforts.
Hearing a little pop as their guide left them, Atrererus sat down on the couch. Gently, he guided Ethan to kneel on the floor beside him. He could feel the human shaking, but said nothing.
Watching him, Leorie smiled. "Why do you have him covered up so, Atrererus? The poor thing will overheat. Come now, let him take the cloak off."
Atrererus wanted to argue with him, but he knew that wouldn't help him in the slightest. There were no other demons to hide him from, and Atrer had already told Leorie he could feed off of him. "Do it, Ethan." He commanded softly.
Ethan of course, was terrified. Managing to keep his face blank though, he stood and slowly pulled off the cloak, which Atrererus took from him. Ethan kept his head down, making sure he didn't look away from the ground. Leorie had other plans however.
"Come closer and look at me. I can't observe you from over here, can I?"
Atrererus knew that the demon actually could, but said nothing. Instead, he gently nudged Ethan's back, forcing him to walk forward.
Of course, Ethan didn't meet Leorie's eyes, but he still approached him. To Leorie's utter amusement, Ethan jumped off the ground when the demon took hold of his chin, turning his head side to side.
"I must say he is a rather pretty thing... and he is well dressed. Where did you find this?"
"Surprisingly, in the human realm. I believe the cloak was intended as part of a costume of some sort, but the rest was rather easy to get."
"Hmm.. I must visit then when I want to dress my own pets up." Turning his attention back to Ethan, he smirked. "Turn around for me, will you? Let me look at you."
Ethan hesitated, but then did as he was told, nearly tripping over his feet. Leorie laughed softly. "What an absolutely delightful creature."
"I am glad you think so." Atrererus said, in a rather bored sounding tone. Leorie was annoying childish for a demon, and the exaggerated polite attitude he had made Atrererus want to hit his head against the wall.
Knowing his guest was becoming frustrated, Leorie smiled. With a snap, the energy stealing blade that he had presented to Atrererus earlier appeared before them. "Now, dear Atrererus, this blade will be presented to you, if you still agree to your end of the deal. Should you not want to, I will not punish you for changing your mind, but I will not give you the blade. What is your choice? I'm sure, if you don't accept though, you can find another thing to offer to Tresporian for the return of this one's partner."
Hearing Leorie bring up Tresporian, Ethan forgot himself and his head raised to look into the red eyes of the demon. "Jesse?" He asked softly, hope appearing on his face.
"Ethan!" Atrer yelled at him. Immediately realizing what he had done, he looked down again, staring at the floor. His body was completely tense. "I-I'm sorry." He murmured, shaking far worse than he had been before. Both demons could hear the human's heart racing from fear.
Leorie smirked. "The poor thing is terrified of me. I hope you haven't been telling him horrible things about me. He looks like he's about to faint. Poor little thing..." He lifted Ethan's chin and forced the human to make eye contact with him. "Don't be so afraid of me. I'm helping Lord Atrererus get your Jesse from Tresporian. You can speak freely in front of me."
Leorie smirked when Ethan's eyes became hopeful again. "How can you refuse this poor little thing?" Leorie asked Atrererus, turning Ethan's head to face Atrer.
Atrererus stopped himself from glaring. Instead, his voice held mild annoyance when he spoke. "It wouldn't be him I was refusing, it would be you. I agree to it myself, but go ahead and tell him. Let him agree to it as well if you insist on appeasing him."
Ethan looked at Leorie, his confusion showing. "What are you talking about?" He asked softly, not sure that he wanted to know.
Leorie smiled at him in a comforting manner that made Atrererus want to knock it off of him. "Don't fear. Atrererus and I came to an agreement earlier. I would give him the blade, if he allowed me to feed from you."
"F-Feed?" Ethan looked liked he was about to bolt, and Leorie remembered he was used to the feedings of Atrererus.
"Yes, feed. I will drink from you, and in return, you will gain a way to get your Jesse back. That is fair, isn't it?"
Ethan calmed only slightly, before losing himself to thought. The demon only wanted blood, right? It couldn't be too bad, and it would make it easier to get Jesse back.
He bit his lip gently, nodding. "Y-Yes.." He mumbled softly, looking down, his body tensing again from fear.
"Excellent." Leorie grinned, feeling rather happy with himself. "Don't be so worried, little human. It won't be that bad. Come, sit on my lap for now."
Ethan could feel the forming heat on his face, but said nothing as he did as he was told. He squeaked when Leorie pulled Ethan onto himself, turning him so that he was facing Atrererus.
Not wanting to make the demon angry, Ethan tried not to shift too much, feeling rather dwarfed by the large demon. He flinched as the demon's large hand came down to pet his hair like one would pet a cat. Ethan realized after a few moments that the gesture was supposed to be calming, and he relaxed slightly.
Leorie was smirking at Atrererus, unseen to Ethan. "Such a cute little human. You're rather lucky with this one, Lord Atrererus."
Atrererus watched as Ethan blushed from the statement, and nearly rolled his eyes. "Yes, I am." He agreed, watching as the hand petting Ethan moved to rest on his shoulder. The tunic was loose fitting to assist in hiding Ethan's form, but it also made the neckline of the shirt rather loose as well, and the slight dip in the front of it only made it even larger. Atrererus watched as the other demon, without even taking his eyes from Atrererus, discreetly moved his hand, causing the loose shirt to slip down slightly, revealing more of the right side of Ethan's neck, and some of his shoulder.
Atrererus could tell that Ethan thought it was unintentional, as his body hadn't stiffened, and he hadn't flinched or pulled away.
The hand returned to Ethan's hair, gently petting him to get him to relax further. His eyes were closed now. Most of the fear had left him from the gentle touch, but from both the touch, and the slight nervousness that had remained, he had closed them.
Atrererus decided it was the perfect moment to give Leorie a dirty look, to which the demon smiled at.
"When do you plan on meeting with Tresporian?"
Not sure whether he was happy or annoyed that they had begun talking again, Atrererus responded.
"We are to meet in just under two weeks. He is having a small gathering, and invited me to meet him then."
"He likely wanted you to meet him around others in case you visited with hostile intentions." Leorie chuckled. "Tresporian isn't cowardly, but he is smart to meet with a powerful demon like yourself in the company of others."
Atrererus ignored the compliment. "Yes, but thankfully not dishonorable enough to use them for an ambush.."
"True. He would have to already have a grudge against you to act like that, but you are on neutral terms, so there really is nothing to fear. I'm sure with your offering, he will be glad to trade you his new pet."
When he said the word 'pet' Leorie could feel Ethan tense for a small moment, and could hear his heart skip. Atrererus was able to see the same thing, but didn't react. Ethan relaxed again after a moment, but it made Leorie want to laugh all the same. He held it in though. The human was proving that he could easily be manipulated with the one called Jesse.
"I believe he will." Atrererus spoke as if nothing had happened. "While he can take a human whenever he likes, a blade like the one you are giving me is hard to acquire. A greedy creature like Tresporian is not likely to turn it down."
Leorie felt Ethan relaxing further as he heard Atrererus, and knew that the human's hope had brightened his spirit.
"I think not either." Gently, the demon turned Ethan around so that the human was straddling his large legs, which were mostly covered by a nearly floor length white cloth, which wrapped around his lower half. There were a few jewels sewn into the material, that dug lightly into Ethan's thighs, but it wasn't bad enough to hurt.
Ethan then found himself being held like a stuffed animal to the demon's extremely large chest. The demon's hands were gently petting his back as his head was almost forcefully pushed against large pectoral muscles.
Even without seeing Ethan's face, Atrererus knew how red it probably was. The human didn't struggle though, and eventually relaxed somewhat.
Leorie was enjoying himself thoroughly. He felt like a normal human would feel if a kitten or puppy had followed them home, but Ethan was far cuter than either. He was even tempted to request that Atrererus allow him to keep Ethan for a little while, but he knew that the demon would refuse. Ah well, at least he could still get a taste of the cute little thing.
As nonchalantly as possible, as to not scare the human, Leorie took one of Ethan's hands, which had been pressed between Ethan's body and his own, and he brought it up to his lips. He smirked slightly, able to see Atrererus glowering at him. He lightly pressed a fang against Ethan's fingertip, breaking the skin. His long tongue flicked out to pick up the little drop of blood. He could hear the slightest sound of pain escape Ethan's lips, but it was ignored. Everything about the human's blood screamed innocence, and even the slightest bit that Leorie had tasted was divine. It was amusing that even though the human had been taken, he still retained that innocence. He suspected the human was desperately trying to cling to the past, and he now felt the strong urge to play with the creature until it broke. Instead, Ethan belonged to Atrererus, and Leorie would not take away the pet of his new ally.
He released the human's hand, and Ethan pulled it close to his chest, once again pressed in between them. Leorie smiled. Ignoring the dirty looks Atrererus was making, he lightly touched Ethan's face, tilting his head to the left to expose the right side of his neck. From the way Ethan tensed, Leorie knew that Ethan was now focused on how exposed his neck was.
"Such a delicious young human. I think that giving up the blade for that Jesse is well worth getting a taste." Leorie smirked as he felt the human trying to force himself to calm down, as he knew that the mentioning of Jesse would do. It was almost too easy to manipulate him.
Ethan's heart was beating quickly, his blood rushing through his body as Leorie stared down at him. He would get a decent meal from his blood, despite how small Ethan was.
He lightly ran a claw along Ethan's neck, watching as he bit his lip softly. So rather cute.
"I am sure Lord Atrererus grows tired of my company. I shall not keep you for much longer. I expect you to hold still. If you are to struggle, I will end up causing more damage than necessary." He felt Ethan begin to tense again, but Leorie pet the human's head for a few moments to calm him. Lazily, the demon leaned forward and picked up a kind of vial that neither Ethan, or Atrererus had noticed until then. Atrererus recognized it though. The someone thick liquid would close any wounds that were made.
Ethan flinched and bit his lip harder when he felt Leorie's lips suddenly at his neck. "Remember. Do not struggle."
Ethan attempted to calm down again, but he couldn't stop his heart from pounding in his chest. Leorie only grinned, knowing the blood would be rushing. Without any other warnings, he bit into the human's neck. He fangs tore through the blood vessels with ease, forcing a loud, choked cry from the human. Instinct made him push against the demon, but the arms around him held him tightly in place.
Leorie ignored the sounds the human made, gleefully drinking the blood that flowed into his mouth from the broken flesh. He grinned when heard a choked sob from the human. He was sure the human hadn't expected this much pain. Silly creature.
He felt weak nails digging into his chest as Ethan shook in his arms. His heart was desperately trying to circulate the blood to his body, only causing it to gush into his mouth faster.
He received only a whimper as his fangs dug into the flesh deeper. The human was growing weak.
"Leorie. Enough!"
The voice of Atrererus broke the rising blood lust. He pulled his mouth of the human that was shivering weakly in his arms. Ignoring the tear tracks down his cheeks, he opened the vial and poured the thick contents onto his hand.
There was a soft whimper as Leorie set his hand on the bleeding wound. As he forced the paste into the flesh, it began to close. The blood vessels pulled themselves back together and the tissue around it reformed. Finally, the skin closed around it, the only evidence of what had happened the blood that had dripped.
Grateful that the pain was gone, Ethan weakly slumped against the large demon. Leorie had taken a little more than he had intended. He didn't feel bad though. The human had been a treat.
He licked some of the blood from his lips, smiling at Atrererus, who was looking rather angry.
"Calm yourself. Your human will be fine after some food and rest."
"Yes, but you got rather carried away."
"You worry far too much Atrererus."
"For good reason."
Leorie pretended to be hurt, an expression that looked ridiculous on a creature with a face like his. "You have no faith in me. Why do you hurt me so..?" When Atrererus only glared, Leorie chuckled.
"Fine, I shall not bother you any longer." Knowing if he set Ethan down, he would collapse, so Leorie stood, carrying the barely conscious human to Atrererus and setting the him on his lap.
"See? He is in once piece." Only smirked when he turned around, he took the sword and a sheath appeared around it. He held it out to the other demon, and he nearly laughed, knowing how badly Atrererus wanted to just snatch it and leave.
Instead, Atrererus stood, easily holding the human with one arm, and taking the sword with another. "I thank you for your generosity, Leorie." He bowed his head respectfully, despite his anger.
With a grin, Leorie gently clapped him on the back, earning a fresh glare. "And a thanks for your visit. You shouldn't be such a stranger, Lord Atrererus. You should know you are welcome here."
"I am aware." 'Though that doesn't mean I would want to come here anyway.' He added to himself.
Leorie could only chuckle, knowing how Atrererus felt on visiting. "Well, be off. I'm sure your pet will need sleep."
"I'm sure he does. Farewell, Atrererus." Not wanting to stay any longer, blackness surrounded him, and he was gone.
Rather content, Leorie smiled, not caring that the blade was worth far more than a simple feeding. He had another like it. Sitting, he called a book from the shelves and it came down through the air to him. Opening it, he began reading, his normal boredom gone for at least a short while.
--------------------------
Ethan moaned softly as he felt water hitting him. Atrererus had stripped him and brought him into the bathroom to wash the blood from him. The hot water was soothing, and Ethan nearly fell asleep. Before he could, he was pulled from the water. He shivered until Atrererus had dried him, slipped a pair of pants on, and set him under the covers of the bed.
He flinched when he felt Atrererus inspecting his neck. He seemed to be satisfied, because he let it go a minute later. "Are you feeling alright?"
"Yes.." Ethan managed to rasp, his throat feeling strange and dry. He was relieved when a glass was pressed against his lips. It was orange juice, and the sudden taste nearly made him choke, but he managed to drink a few sips.
Atrererus pulled the glass away and set it down, looking over the human again. "I should make you eat, but I'm sure you would rather rest. We can worry about replenishing your blood tomorrow."
Ethan nodded weakly, curling up under the blankets. He felt rather dizzy, and he knew it was from the blood loss. He felt himself shivering again as he tried to not think about the other demon. The pain had been horrible. He was actually surprised he hadn't screamed.
"Will... I have to do that for the other demons?" He asked softly, hardly able to stay awake.
"No. None of them will touch you, or risk disrespecting me. They will not dare."
Satisfied with the answer, Ethan closed his eyes. "Thank you.." He mumbled, before letting go.
Less than a minute later, Atrererus heard his heartbeat slow, along with his breathing. Knowing that Ethan wouldn't be waking for a long while, Atrererus left the bed. Darkness consumed him as he left for the human realm, to find someone to feed from.

Thanks to Smint45, Will Treaty and WallFlower for reviewing.
Oh, and I always get frustrated after reading your reviews, Will, because I always want to give you an instant response to your reviews, but I can't since I don't know your email. You need to put one! I'm just glad you liked the chapter. :)
More reviews please? The weak amount I got last time made me sad, and though I won't hold chapters for hostage, reviews are encouraging.
