Unknown Love and Destiny Pt 5

After hitting the floor hard, he rubbed the back of his head to try

and lessen the pain. "Ouch ouch ouch" he muttered.

Entering her room, she closed and locked the door. She was completely

embarrassed. What had possessed her to do such a thing. She removed the clip from her hair, undressed and laid down across her bed. Burying her head under her pillows.

He slowly picked himself up from the floor and walked after her, rubbing the back of his head as he went. It wasn\'t long before he was at her door and knocked.

Hearing his knock she winced. "Please go away." she yelled from under her pillows.

"Why? I\'ve never heard you turn me away before. You want to talk?" he leaned on the wall beside the door.

Pulling her head out from under, she sat up. He was right. She had never turned him away before, but could she face him. Sighing she went and put on a happy bunny shirt and shorts, then went to the door and opened it.

He looked through the gap of the door, still leaning on the wall. "What\'s the matter?" he asked in a voice that was filled with understanding and calm.

Opening the door a little more. "I\'m sorry for acting like that. Your my friend and I was acting like a bitch in heat." Looking at the floor, unable to meet his eyes.

"It\'s only natural. And I know you, you are not one who sits on her ass waiting for something to happen. You are what I would call a go-getter. I think that is one of the best qualities you have" he turned his head to look at the opposite wall, in an attempt to lessen the uncomfortable feeling.

Looking up at him, giving a small smile. "Thanks for that. So, we are still cool as friends?"

"Of course we are. It would take more then a sore head to break us up" with that he started to rub the back of his head again.

"Is your head alright? Maybe you should get some ice?" Stepping out of the room.

"I`m fine. It\'s just a small bump on the head. It will heal. I never got to ask you. How was your night out?" smiling as he pushed himself way from the wall.

"Boring. That is the reason why I left the club, then got lost and well you know the rest."

"I see. Maybe you should have gone with one of your girlfriends. Picked up some boys and used your magic on them" he grinned. He was lucky she never really used that magic on him yet. Only mild versions of it.

Shrugging. "I don\'t know. Maybe. But as for magic. Please, you must be joking. I don`t have magic."

"No, I\'m quite serious. I am lucky to never have experienced it, I would probably hang myself. To much eye-candy" walking towards his own room a few doors further down.

Laughing. "Eye-candy?" Putting her hands on her hips. "Is that what I look like? Maybe I need a makeover."

He stopped and turned to look at her. "That is up to you, but you should not fix what is not broken"

Giving him her best smile. "You are so right. Goodnight, Michael."

"Sleep tight" he said back, she did have a wonderful smile. It was the kind that could make any heartbroken man light up again.
