Chapter 4a - Previous Day
NOTE: There are 3 parts to chapter 4 and all the events happened the previous day.
Chapter 4 – Previous Day (Part 1)
Alan arrived to class early before the teacher got there. He waited by the door for the teacher and the rest of his classmates.
“Alan. You are here early.” Mrs. Woods looked at me as she opened the door to the classroom. “Did you study for the test?”
“Good morning.” He didn’t look at his teacher while he spoke. “Why would I need to study when I know that I will ace this test?”
She finally got the door open. “Come inside.” She said.
“Sure, in a minute.” He just stood there until most of the students have arrived, including Jessica.
“Hey! Alan. Why are you still standing here?” She looked at him with a beautiful smile.
With a smirk on his face, “Waiting for you.” He walked her to her seat. The scent that Jessica gave off turned Alan on. He wondered what perfume she was wearing. Maybe it’s her natural scent.
Jess gave him a skeptical look. What a shocker. She never had him waiting for her in front of the classroom in the morning before. “Good luck on the exam.” She said to Alan as they sat down.
“Ha, I don’t think I need any luck to pass this one.”
Mrs. Woods started to give out the test packet. “You may begin as soon as you get it. If I find anybody cheating, you will get an automatic F for this test. That goes for you Alan.” She said as she placed the test on Alan’s desk.
“What makes you think that I am going to cheat?” He replied and everyone else in the classroom laughed. “Don’t make any accusations Mrs. Woods. You don’t know me.” Then the room was silent.
Jessica looked at Mrs. Woods then at Alan. She thought to herself, when did Alan grow a backbone? He would never answer back to the teacher like that.
The exam commenced.
