Paralyzer
Chapter 4 - Paralyzer
Cavan's answer was to grab him and hold him close, softly crying from the emotions of the song. Rangios was looking at him in a strange way. Not exactly a happy, or sad or even a melancholy face but a mixture of all of them. Aldwin however was definitely happy, as he had not expected him to play that particular song. He wasn't even aware that Adreyn had finished the translated version so was very surprised. Already his mind was planning and scheming about his fourth album, one that was going to include that new song.
"Adreyn that was wonderful." Aldwin gushed to him, beginning the process of buttering him up.
"Stop, right now." Adreyn said in warning, still being held by Cavan. Though wiggling to get out of Cavan's arms.
"No, don't think so. Anyways, you have done what I wanted for today, so lucky you...you get to go home. Ta ta!" Aldwin said as he walked away from the wings as both Rangios and Adreyn stared at him. Cavan on the other hand became a bit more apprehensive. He knew that his own behaviour within the last hour had been a bit over the top, and he knew he had to step back from that.
"Master we should go before he changes his mind." Rangios said turning away and heading back to the dressing room. Like last time, the room was Spartan, with just some water and a few pieces of cheese on a tapas plate. It was fairly late at night now, nearly 2am, and Rangios knew that he did not like to eat late at night. But not having something on his stomach after a performance, was bad for him. So a compromise of cheese and water satisfied his stomach.
Cavan was slower to enter the room, feeling that he didn't truly belong. He had not gotten a good look at the room last time, but now took it in and was in shock. He had seen enough super mega-stars dressing rooms and he had expected complete opulence, not the completely white and nearly barren room inside. He then looked to Adreyn and saw that he was already removing his shirt as he headed to a room off to the side.
"Master, there should only be Master Cavan and I here, so you should be perfectly safe until your shower is done." Rangios said, almost anticipating the statement that was on Cavan's tongue.
"Thank you Rangios. You are too kind to me." Adreyn said in a very weary voice. Cavan then watched him slowly leave the room, sending his clothing into piles as he stripped as he went. Cavan waited until he heard the shower beginning, and then turned to the loyal servant
"You and I are going to have a talk." Cavan started sitting down in one of the chairs by the dressing table. The lights were subdued, but there was still enough light to see things
"I rather suspected we were. You are one of them, aren't you." Rangios said, speaking about the martial arts movements that he had remembered seeing Cavan make when he was trying to get to Adreyn before
"I have no idea what you are talking about. What I do want to talk about is how long had the beatings been going on." Cavan said speaking about Adreyn's previous abuse
"My master is 5 years older then I am, but from my earliest memories, he has been beaten. Never by his father, but his closest relatives. They feared him and wanted him gone. But were too afraid of his father to outright kill him. They sought to discredit him in his father's eyes so that he would be forgotten. Then easier to kill. When I was 7 and he was 12, I found out a plot to kill him. They had grown tired of the lack of responses from him when they would cane him, so they had begun a regiment of arsenic poisoning. He was very weak by the time I found him as they had been poisoning him for a very long time. He still is very weak from it, after all this time, but we escaped and he recovered." Rangios said quietly
"I would not call his complete inability to speak to people and a complete lack of any form of intimacy 'recovered'." Cavan said slightly harsh to the servant.
"His recovery is to be able to let down his barriers on stage. Aldwin said he didn't know if that was really Adreyn, but it is. That really is my master. He can only relax with me around, and even then, you are the first person I have ever seen other then his father to hug him. Only his father would be able to touch him and give him any kind of touch. I myself can barely touch him and only if he is aware of it." Rangios said still quiet in his speech. The shower was still going and he knew that his Master would be in there for a bit longer.
"I am coming with you tonight. I won't leave him." Cavan said firmly, almost as if stating to himself to convince himself as much as the servant.
"You had better not. Leave him that is. But I don't think you should come with us tonight. Give him some space. To understand what is happening. And go slowly." Rangios said
"Slowly is most likely not something I am used to. But for him...I will. Leave us?" Cavan asked softly hoping that he would say yes. He didn't disappoint and Rangios agreed to, but only until the limo arrived. Cavan agreed to that and Rangios left them alone. Inside though, Rangios hoped that he didn't see the tattoo, as he already suspected who Cavan was, and was very concerned about the danger that this would entail for him and his Master. For himself, leaving the service of the Emperor without his permission was instant death. For Adreyn, he would be dragged back and most likely put to death before his father found out that he had been retrieved. His relatives were that bloodthirsty, as he had been keeping tabs on them, discreetly. Some of the things that he had found out had turned his blood cold. He had kept his Master in the dark, but he had been blessed with 3 other siblings within the last 13 years. But none of them had made it past the age of four, as they had all 'mysteriously' been killed by different methods. One had been reported to have drowned, another by frailty, though Rangios had suspected that he had been poisoned by arsenic, and the most recent by a report of an accident with one of the robot-assistants that were used as babysitters.
But Rangios knew the truth. His sibling brothers had all been murdered to keep the line free of heirs, so that when the Emperor died, it would go to them. Heaven help his Master if they ever found out that he was still alive.
-----------------------------------
Inside the shower, Adreyn began to slightly relax. The heat was perfect, and turned his milky white skin a beautiful blush shade of red, which beat down onto his shoulder blades as he had his hands on the wall, leaning into it and enjoying the heat.
This also gave him a chance to think.
Cavan confused him.
Greatly.
But the benefits....
It intrigued him and it made him desire more. He had never really looked at anyone before, as attention warranted touch, and the thought of anyone touching him again made the terrors nearly unbearable. He hated being so weak, but it was something that he could not stop. He haunted him in ways that even now upset him and frightened him, but was powerless to stop it.
He did not want to be like that. He wanted to be normal, but he didn't know what normal was. All his life any touch other then from his loving father hurt him. Even Rangios hurt him, though he knew that his servant would never hurt him, the mere touch sent sparks up his arms and it felt like fire every time.
Except when Cavan touched him.
It had felt like the touch of a rose.
As cliqued as that was, there was no vibrations, no pinpricks. Nothing that hurt. It was soft and smooth and made him feel loved. Like his father had always done. Even as a child, he craved his father's touch. He loved him still, so very much, and it hurt him so deeply inside to be separated from him. But he knew that if he and Rangios had not left, he would be dead now. His aunt and uncle were ruthless with their extermination of his family, yet he could not understand why his father could not see it.
However it was neither here nor there. He was never returning and he was happy where he was. He knew that if his father died, he would have to step up, but until then....
As he was thinking about all of this, Cavan moved into the bathroom. The shower door was a frosted glass, so he could see the outline of his body, but none of the actual features of it. He could see that he was leaning hard into the shower and it presented an absolutely amazing arch of his body, with his hair slicking all the way back down his back, a beautiful blackness against the paleness of his alabaster skin.
Maybe it was a breathe of a hitch of his voice or Adreyn was just getting better at sensing other's presence, something that came with being the heir to the throne, but he turned and saw Cavan staring at him. He knew his more intimate parts were being hidden, but he still felt very vulnerable from the man. He wasn't sure if he should feel flattered or aroused, or just plain old scared from the emotions that he was himself experiencing. The other thing he was also startled about thinking about was whether he planned on changing his position. Because he knew as good as this glass was, it was his leg position that was hiding his piece of anatomy that Cavan wanted.
"Cavan I would like to move and actually clean. Would you mind giving me some privacy?" Adreyn asked softly, yet in a loud voice that could be heard over the shower
"No, I'm good. Don't let me stop you." Cavan said with a hint of perverse pleasure in making him want to be evil to him. The sight of that ass as small as he had imagined, with the hair longer then he had seen it dry had already made him semi-hard.
"Please Cavan?" Adreyn asked again, semi-begging but trying to stay firm in what he wanted, no needed
"Yes Adreyn, is there something you want?" Cavan said being obtuse
"Privacy?" he asked, already knowing the answer that he was going to get
"No. Now I am being a good boy by not stripping and joining you in there, so the least you can do is let me look. I said I would not force or scare you with my movements. You never said that I couldn't look and fantasize with what I am going to do to you when you finally say yes. How I am going to touch every part of your body with the softest touch. How I am going to tease you with the tip of my tongue and trace every inch of you. How I am going to take you in my mouth and give you the greatest pleasure you have ever had and make you feel alive." Cavan said very softly and slowly hearing Adreyn's voice hitch and seeing his head lift back and arch his back like a kitten stretching.
"Cavan..." Adreyn whispered softly, his body beginning to sing from those erotic imagery. He wanted that. So badly. He always had, but had stopped himself, almost feeling that he didn't deserve it. He knew that he had done wrong with his existence, and only his father's love had stopped him from ending his life to make his family feel better. He knew his father loved him, and though his mother had died giving birth to him, he knew love. But he knew it wasn't the same. He wanted what his father had with his mother, and he suspected that if he let Cavan in, he would give it to him. Another gift of his heritage.
"You like that, don't you." Cavan said, hearing the heavy breathing that was coming from the shower.
"Yes.." Adreyn whispered to himself but Cavan caught it and smiled. Walking over to the shower door he placed his hand onto it, just waiting for the go ahead from him. Just one word and he would enter and taste him, feel him and make him feel of worth and loved.
"Master, the limo is here. It's time to go." Rangios said appearing from the door. He could see that Cavan looked like he had been about to enter the door and invade the space of his Master, and was grateful for the appearance. He meant it earlier to the warrior, that his Master needed the time apart to evaluate his own emotions. If he did what his body wanted, his mind would not be able to accept it, and that would spell disaster for everyone.
"Rangios...thank you....I will be along in a few minutes." Adreyn said, his voice cracking from emotions that he had thought long dead and forgotten. He couldn't remember the last time he cried, but he could feel the tension mounting in his chest and recognized the burning appearing at his eyes.
"Very well. Come along Master Cavan. Let us leave him be." Rangios said, coming deeper into the bathroom and attempting to grab a hold of his arm to take him out of the bathroom to give his Master the much needed space he needed.
"No. I said I would not leave him." Cavan said as he slowly began opening the shower door. Rangios took the hint that he wasn't going to leave, and left the towels that he had brought in and he too left the room, leaving them alone once again.
"Cavan...please...go...." Adreyn said, sacrificing his own modesty, in the attempt to keep the tattoo hidden. Showing him his front and showing him his god given instrument was the lesser of two evils then showing the tattoo of his Royal Stature as the Heir to the World Empire.
"I said I would not leave you. That includes now. I understand you need time, but you also need to let me in. I will give you all the time you need to believe in your own emotions, but I am going to introduce you to the ones that will give you pleasure. And it is slightly hard to do that if I am not around. So, forgive me, but no. Now, let's get you out of there and dried off." Cavan said to him, still not completely sure of where his behaviour was coming from. He had NEVER behaved like this, and he had a feeling it would not be stopping. Usually he was fairly easy going with his lovers, letting them come on to him, as he did not like chasing his conquests, but Adreyn...Adreyn was a different story. One that he wanted so badly.
Almost like breathing and water, he was needed.
"I am....afraid." Adreyn admitted to him.
"I know you are my little black angel. But I won't hurt you. I promised you that I would not and I meant it. I am afraid too of my feelings. Never have I behaved like this before with anyone else. Only you. You give me feelings that are strong willed and possessive and I worry that I might hurt you with them. I don't ever want to hurt you, but these feelings overwhelm me." Cavan admitted to him, wanting to give some common ground to him, making him feel better and hopefully begin to trust him.
"You make me feel, and that has always been dangerous to me. Feeling means that you have power over me, and that was too harmful. Everyone that was close to me, hurt me in ways that even now I have a hard time remembering. I know I blocked some of it, but I remember the pain. Pain is the only feeling I can remember and...I...don't know what to do." Adreyn said, the tears that had been threatening for the last ten minutes finally broke and he began sobbing in earnest. Cavan took the chance and grabbed him from the shower stall and held him close against him, whispering softly to him in hushed tones while softly stroking his still wet hair.
"It hurts..." Adreyn said, his voice breaking from the emotions
"I know my angel." Cavan said in soothing tones.
They held each other for some time, Adreyn's sobs barely breaking, the heartache still tearing at his soul. It was only until Adreyn was aware of Rangios patiently waiting in the wings, that he released himself from Cavan's strong arms.
"Master it is time to go. The limo driver won't wait much longer" he said. Adreyn then raised his head and turned to him and said "If he wants to drive me around again, he will wait however long I decide." in a voice that Rangios rarely heard and one that surprised and delighted Cavan
"You give me ideas Angel..." he said leaned down to his ear and whispered huskily into it. Which made him flush a beautiful shade of pink.
"Very well Master, I will go inform him." Rangios said quietly. He only prayed that Cavan would not hurt him, as he was already letting him into his hidden core, something that he had never let anyone else into, not even himself. Before, only his father had been welcome in that core, and he had always assumed that it would only be his father. He was glad that someone could help him, he needed it. No one should live without love, and he knew his master had. Himself, he had a few girlfriends, but none that he had allowed close, as he was always with his Master, taking care of his needs before his own. A few he had thought about making more, but then they would be moving to a new city and the process would start again.
He only hoped that with this new development, they would be staying a bit longer in the city. He also hoped that their sojourn in the city would not be the proverbial 'weight that broke the camel's back' as he had no intention of facing Adreyn's father and telling him that his one and only son was dead of a broken heart.
