Going Through the Months

Chapter 4
Going through the months

John’s hands moved in different motions. “A” looked like a fist, nothing special. “B” was four fingers straight up with the thumb bent inward. “C” was of a crescent moon and so on.

It took Rochelle two of three times to understand everything. She finally memorized all the tricky details in the letters by the time they were on their way to Russell’s house.

You don’t need to know how to use sign language. that took Rochelle six minutes to figure out what it meant. As long as you can understand.

“There’s always writing.” Scott retorted, “But pen and paper isn’t really handy when you’re traveling around so much.”

Rochelle nodded thoughtfully. For the next part of their ride, it was completely silent, except for the occasional clicking of the instruments bumping back and forth in the back. “Rochelle, how long have you known Danny?”

“Since he’s been here. He’s in most of my classes. Why?”

“Er… nothing.”

“Do you guys go to the same school as Danny and me? I haven’t seen you guys at all if you do…” Rochelle’s voice trailed off as Scott spoke up. “Well, Mike and I do. We’re upper classmen, though Russell and John goes to our sister school.”

“What grade are you in?”

“I’m going to be a senior. I’m a bit late. Already eighteen. John is almost fifteen. Russell seventeen and Mike is seventeen, Danny, you know, sixteen. We were at Danny – Hey. You were the one that went upstairs with Jorge, huh?”

“Jor- oh… Jorge...” Rochelle blushed, turning away.

“Dude. Danny was so pissed off, he ran up stairs, not being able to stand just one minute.” Scott laughed as John did as well. “I haven’t seen him act like that since –” John punched him. “Yeah. You were beautiful yesterday.”

Her face turned into a different shade of red. She managed to whisper out a thank you.

“Okay. So, heads up – at Russell’s house… it’s really crazy. He’s one of the triplets. Russell, Randy, and Robert. Then there is Jenny and Judy and little Rick. They’re crazy. Watch out for Randy and Robert. They like girls.” It wasn’t hard for Scott to say something like that. Maybe he was just used to it.

“Haha…” She managed a weak chuckle.

“Oh, no. Don’t take it the wrong way. I mean, I think Robert and Randy are really going to like you ‘cause you’re a really cute.” Scott turned around when he reached a red light, “Sorry.” He grinned and turned back around.

It took a good ten minutes to get to Russell’s place. His house was huge. Not as big as Danny’s but it could compare.

Rochelle walked into the house when the door swung open with a Russell-look a like standing before her. “Who’s this?” The Russell-look-a-like had hazel hair like her. They were drenched wet, and he didn’t wear a t-shirt just saggy pants.

“That’s Rochelle, Danny’s girlfriend.” Scott announced, walking into their house like it was his own. “Rochelle, this is Randy. He’s the artsy one in the family.” He didn’t get the chance to introduce Robert, who didn’t look like Russell as much as Randy did but it was a really close resemblance. Scott barely made it into the living room before he was tackled by three younger kids paddling into the area.

Rochelle smiled shyly. “Hi.” Randy replied the same, grinning. His personality is completely different from Russell’s. He shook her hands, and then went over towards the silent John, messing up his hair. “Hey punk. How are you?”

Robert introduced himself. He was the athletic one in the family. Go figures. He had that broad shoulders and chests that looked like it was made of steel. The muscles that Robert had showed off easily with the clothes that he wore. Robert wasn’t that kind of the macho buff guys but at the same time he wasn’t skinny either.

Russell must be the druggie then.

Since everyone knew everyone now. Rochelle did her own exploring around the house. Though, on the outside, it didn’t seem that much bigger than Danny’s the inside was definitely overwhelming. They had a different style than Danny’s house. Their house was lively. They had paintings of their family; they had sculptures of Greek gods and goddess, China vases. They looked so fragile.

I feel so out of place. Rochelle turned towards the blue headed figure that appeared beside her. “How do you like the place?”

“It’s beautiful…” She whispered in awe.

“Hmph…” He folded his arms across his chest, raising an eyebrow at her. “Everything is beautiful on the outside…” Russell blinked slowly, looking at his own house. “It’s different on the inside.”

“What do you mean?”

“It doesn’t matter. You wouldn’t understand.” Russell glanced down at the shorter girl, frowning for a moment before he made his way up the stairs. “I’m going to get the drum sets. Randy, Robert, come help me.” So the trio left for the van, fetching the pieces of the drum.

Rochelle stared at the back of them, not sure what she could have done to his reply. “Hm…” She glanced over towards the rest of the group as they made their way up the stairs. Knowing that she was getting left behind, Rochelle quickly made her way over towards the guys. “How many songs do have you guys made up?”

Glancing behind himself for a moment, Mike continued to make his way up the stairs. He had arrived a few minutes earlier than Scott and the other two, staying upstairs the whole time until recently. “We have about eight songs right now.” He smiled, “We have a producer down here, and we’re getting our CD made soon. It’s gonna go out in the stores, I think. We need three or four more songs to get everything completed.”

“That’s awesome.” Rochelle smiled, making her way to the top of the stairs. “Which room are you going into?” Mike turned his head over towards the left, indicating that they were going towards the left, since he didn’t have hands to point at the moment.

“That’s cool.” Rochelle grinned. “I can get a free CD right?” She made her way into Russell’s room – it was the size of her living room too. It couldn’t have been the triplet’s room, all together. There was only one bed unless they all slept together. Lucky. She looked around. A typical boy’s room. Posters of girls in bikinis, band posters, clothes thrown around, and so many other things were arranged and hung in his room.

“Make yourself at home.” Mike smiled, placing his guitar on the ground, sticking the plug into the amp. His fingers ran along the strings gently and through the amp, a loud musical sound filled the room. The red-head grimaced slightly, leaning down to adjust his amp. “Sorry about that.” He muttered, twisting the knob.

One by one, the triplets walked in carrying random pieces of Russell’s drum set, putting it back to its original place. There was this one big spot next to his bed, where there was no mess, and apparently that was where the drum resides. “Danny just called. He’s coming over now.” Russell mumbled as he twirled the drumsticks around his fingers. He then carefully laid them down onto the bed, taking the parts of the drum and putting them together like the parts of a puzzle piece.

“Okay.” Scott did the same thing as what Mike had done earlier, testing out the tunes of the guitar. “We’ll wait then. Rochelle, are you hungry?” He slipped off the strap that was wrapped around his body, placing the guitar against the wall. “I’m going to get something to eat.”

She shook her head, patting her stomach. “I’m full, but I’ll follow you.” She stepped out of the room. Scott was probably the only person other than Danny where she didn’t feel just a bit awkward around. He was probably just more open or something like that.

It was silent between the two of them as they went downstairs though. So much for not feeling awkward. “So, what do you think of Danny?” Scott finally spoke up loudly through Russell’s banging on the drums. The black head pulled out a drink, handing one to Rochelle, but she shook her head.

“I’m going out with him, aren’t I?”

“I guess that’s true.” He laughed a little then pulled out a bowl full of sliced ham. The older teen grinned, taking a piece and stuffed it into his mouth. “Mmm…” He smiled but that smile slowly faded away. “Hey, this is only between you and me, okay?” Scott leaned against the kitchen counter, sitting upon it. He didn’t need to jump; the guy was somewhere around six feet anyways. “You’re the only one that doesn’t know, his ex-girlfriends knew it too… but anyways, Danny… Back in California, Danny was something like, a player. But there was this one girl who he was serious about. They went out for three years…” He paused, stuffing another slice into his mouth, giving a few moments for Rochelle to take in what he just said.

“And?”

“She died.” He blinked a few times, saying it very bluntly. “She was killed in a car accident with him. That was…” The eighteen year old took in a deep breath, “That was only two year ago. His mother was driving, and the two of them were in the back seat. She didn’t have her seat belt on, while Danny did. She crashed against front seat – she’s a fragile girl – and broke her neck.” Scott glanced over at Rochelle, before he began again, “Danny’s been out with a few girls after that, but they were never serious.”

Rochelle stood there; her hands covering her mouth slightly as she listened to her elder speak. Her thin brows were slightly slanted. “That’s crazy.” She whispered, not really knowing what to say.

Scott smiled faintly, “Just I don’t want Danny to get hurt all over again, and I don’t want you to get hurt, if you know, it’s not serious.” He slipped off the counter, taking the bowl with him, stuffing a few more of the ham into his mouth.

Rochelle nodded, remaining silent. “I’ll… be careful.” She smiled weakly, “Yeah. Thanks for telling me, I guess.”

The older teen made his way out of the kitchen with Rochelle following silently behind him. Just then, Danny burst through the room, smirking. “Don’t tell me you two were up to something in there.” He folded his arms across his chest, pretending to put on a frown.

Scott rolled his eyes, and then turned over towards the girl, raising a brow, hoping that she got his cue. “She’s not my type, dude.” After that, he made his way up the stairs, “We’re waiting for you Danny.”

Danny nodded, making his way over towards his girlfriend, wrapping his arms around her waist. “Hope they didn’t do anything to you there.” He gently kissed her on the lips.

Rochelle shook her head, “No. They’re great people.” She stood on her toes, kissing him on the lips just like he did, nipping at his lower lip. Her eyes were half opened as she stared down at the ground, her hands, grabbing the sleeves of his shirt tightly. “You’re cute, did you know that?” Danny smiled, seizing her petite body, and lifted her to his height, and made his way against the wall, pressing against her back upon the wall. His lips pressed up against hers. “I liked how we kissed yesterday…” He whispered in between the kisses, “So hot, so passionate…” His lips parted along with hers, his tongue running along her teeth, exploring the inside of her mouth. His hands gripped her hips tightly; one hand stroked her thigh gently.

“Hey. Don’t mind us. We’re just upstairs waiting for you to arrive.” Scott came back downstairs; this time with an empty bowl of what was once filled with ham, and walked passed the couple, staring forward at the kitchen.

Danny sighed, laughing a little as Rochelle’s face grew terribly red. “Sorry, man. You know how much I enjoy Rochelle’s company.” Danny grabbed Rochelle, wrapping his arms around her possessively. The girl merely covered her face embarrassed with what Scott had seen. “Why are you so shy? You should be more outgoing. You’re gorgeous.” Danny took her hands, lowering them from her face. For once, he wore a genuine gentlemen smile.

“C’mon. You can hear me sing again.” He took her hands, dragging her up the stairs. “Maybe we’ll let you in our group. It’d be fun.” The blonde grinned, “Hello ladies!” He yelled out to his friends once the couple reached Russell’s room.

The guys turned around, each giving Danny a face. “Joking!” He said in a sing song voice. Danny released his grip from Rochelle as he went over to get the microphone, connecting it to one of the large speakers they had.

“Hey Danny, let’s try one of those new songs that we wrote the other day.” Mike raised a brow, creating a certain tune giving his friend a hint of which song he was talking about.

“We can, but we still need adjusting on the tunes and the stuff, plus we don’t have a lot of time. I still need to drop off Rochelle.”

“Maybe later then.”

Danny nodded, “How about ‘One Day’?” He turned over towards Scott as he walked in.

“Ew. That’s such a pop, lovey dovey song.” Mike’s face grimaced as Scott nodded in agreement. “I like ‘Desperation’, at least all of us; mind you, Johnny, can do some back up screaming.” Jonathan smiled, shaking his head.

“Fiiine.”

So, once the group finally decided what they wanted to practice, they began their song. It started with a quiet but at the same time a stead by of the electric and bass guitar. Then, there was Jonathan with a low key on his keyboard giving the song an eerie taste. Russell came in last with the bass vibrating all over the room.

Danny waited, his eyes closed and the microphone held tightly in his hands, waiting for his cue. And there it was, his mouth opened and the words flowed out, “I lie awake here in my nightmare, staring into the depth of this darkness, minutes passing by each minute. I’m just screaming out for someone to save me.” Danny’s voice was low as he sang. The rest of the group joined in screaming out at the top of their lungs, “They cannot hear you.”

The song ended a few minutes after that. It ached Rochelle’s heart, knowing that people could feel so depressed and emotional and dark. She sighed, as they moved onto a more upbeat song. Rochelle sat on Russell’s bed, her legs dangling over the edge and her hands clasped tightly, lying on her lap. Her green eyes never left Danny’s image; he sang with so much passion. It seemed almost too real.

After a couple more songs, the band finished up their practice with full of sweat and pants. They headed down the stairs with their hands in their pockets, sighing here and there. Danny smiled at Rochelle after he took a sip of his drink. “How do you like us?”

“You guys are wonderful.” Rochelle gave them an approval nod.

“Thanks!” Danny smiled and quickly downed his drink. “Now, lets get you home, ‘cause we still have school tomorrow. The blonde chuckled, taking out his car keys. “See you guys… Tuesday night?”

The group of guys bid the couple good night. Danny and Rochelle then made their way out of the triplet’s house. “I hope you enjoyed tonight.” He smiled, opening the passenger seat for her and made his way over towards his side of the car.

“I did.” Rochelle nodded, strapping the seatbelt across her chest. “It’s fun, hanging out with your friends. I really enjoy them.”

“Yeah. They’re great people.” He raised his brows for a moment, smiling at his girlfriend as he pulled out of the driveway. “Sorry if it’s going to be a bit late. It’s almost two.” He chuckled, “What about a second date next Friday?”

“Exams are coming up though.” Rochelle replied slightly worried, “I don’t know if I have to take any exams. I’m passing with all A’s so I’m going exempt all of it, but you know, you can never be too careful.”

Danny smiled, “Do you think I’d have to? I’ve been here only for like, three months.”

“Don’t think you’d have to. You’re making all A’s too, aren’t you?” She turned over towards him to see him nod. “You should exempt.” Danny’s car pulled to a stop at the red light. Rochelle leaned in towards Danny giving him a light peck on the cheek. He smiled, turning his head so she kissed his lips instead. She giggled quietly, parting her lips to kiss him with more fervor. From the corner of her eyes, Rochelle glanced towards the side, seeing no cars behind them. Who would be driving out at a time like this anyways?

With no effort at all, she unlatched Danny’s seatbelt and pulled him over towards the passenger’s side over herself. Rochelle giggled quietly, wrapping her arms around his broad shoulders, kissing his jaw line gently. Just then a car drove by, honking at Danny’s car and a whooping shout passed just as quickly as the car had gone by.

“So…” Danny replied, leaning in, his lips barely grazing hers. He smirked, his hands gently caressing her skin as his lips worked magic upon hers.

She giggled, but she pushed him off back onto the driver’s seat. “My mom’ll be worried. Now, drive.” She commanded, giving him a pout.
“Only if I get to kiss those sweet lips of yours again.” He grinned, raising an eyebrow. Danny leaned in quickly, planting a kiss on her lips and began to drive off towards her house once more.
* * *

“Hey, Rochelle.” Danny came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “How was your sleep?”

“Terrible.” She smiled faintly, brushing a strand of looser hair behind her ears. She was in those extra-large t-shirts once again with her hair down. She had large, dark bags under her eyes, as well.

“I see that. What happened?”

“I had to study for a test.”

“Today?”

She nodded and leaned against him as he led her to their class. It was almost third period. They had first and second in separate classes, with third, fourth and fifth together. Sixth period they go into their own ways and towards the end of the day, seventh period, they would reunite.

“Are you trying to make valedictorian?”

“Like that would ever happen…” Rochelle laughed, “I wouldn’t have a life right now if I was trying to get valedictorian.” She shook her head, standing up straight as they reached their third period classroom.

The day passed by leisurely, with Rochelle dozing off suddenly in the middle of class and with Danny franticly trying to keep her awake. With the final release bell, the couple headed out of the school, holding hands.

“You’re coming over to my house, away from all your books and studying. You seriously need a good rest now.” Danny had to drag her to his car, trying to convince her as she complained to go home. “C’mon, you’ll die like, really fast with the lack of ‘no life’ coming after you. School’s almost out, you should be more relaxed, not worried and panicked.” He gave her a worried look, but with that worried look, Rochelle gave up with a loud sigh.

“Alright. Mom’s working today anyways.” She muttered, scratching the back of her head as she entered the door.

Danny grinned, planting a kiss on her cheek. She fell into a light nap as Danny drove his way back home. He sighed, taking a quick glance out of window. For a moment, he drifted into space. He was already in the neighborhood, and luckily for him, there weren’t many cars around otherwise they would have been in a serious wreck. As he was drifting off in his daydream, his car swerved onto the other lane for cars going in the opposite direction.

He blinked, turning his head back around, before he quickly made his way back towards the correct side, hoping that he didn’t wake up the sleeping girl next to him. Danny chuckled, shaking his head as he turned his car over towards the huge driveway, and pulled his car into the garage. “Hey, baby.” He went over, nudging Rochelle. She didn’t budge with only a light snore coming from her.

Danny laughed, shaking his head, and made his way out of the car. He opened her side, gently picking her up, carrying the girl bridal style to his room. The blonde kissed her lips gently, walking slowly up the stairs.

“Danny, is that you?”
“Uh huh.”

His mother was calling out to him, as she walked out from the kitchen. “Oh. That’s Rochelle, I see?” She placed her hands on her hips, giving her son that motherly look. “What are you doing with her?”

“She didn’t get much sleep last night. So, I brought her home, so she wouldn’t be up studying again.” He grinned as he made his way up the stairs to his room.

“Don’t try anything weird.”
* * *

“Free for dinner tonight?” Rochelle jumped on Danny’s back, kissing his cheek. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and her legs around his waist. He grabbed her legs, laughing a little as they left their classroom.

It was the last day of school. Everyone was already out of their class and the couple exempted all of their classes. They stayed after school for a little bit longer, as they leisurely made their way out of the building. She remained on his back until they reached the outdoors and she fell back onto her feet.

“So…”

The two of them had been going out for five months now, going to each others houses every other day. She would spend her time as his place or Russell’s (who finally warmed up to her) watching the band practice, while Danny would spend his time at her place, eating dinner and studying. Either that or the two of them would go out, catch a movie, and such things that most couples would do.

“Yeah, I’ll come over.” He kissed her gently.

A few minutes later, they were back at her house as she talked to her mother. “Mom, you’re working later on today right? I was hoping to have dinner with Danny tonight.” Her mother nodded, smiling widely at her daughter. “Would you like to cook for us?”

“Not really. Why?”
“Forget it.” Rochelle rolled her eyes.

Danny laughed, “I’ll cook.” He wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing the top of her head. His mother and Rochelle’s mother both knew about the two of them being a couple, they were fine with it. Their mothers were even good friends, too. The pair weren’t afraid to show their affection around their parents as they were to the public.

They made a beautiful couple, too. A blonde with a brunette. “You can’t cook.” She retorted, frowning. Danny, however, was the one that made Rochelle tell her mother that the two of them were seeing each other. She was afraid to until he pressured her in many ways.

“You certainly don’t know that.” The blonde grinned, showing off his white teeth, “Oh, and tomorrow night, we’re having a concert at Jazzy Jay’s. You can make it right?” Rochelle nodded, hugging him tightly. “Oh, oh.” He jumped up and down slightly, poking her. She stared at him as if he was crazy. “My mom booked a concert for the band at Disney World in Florida. We’re going on a cruise, too. Of course, my mother can’t go, she has work. She wanted to see if you wanted to go; she’d get another ticket for you.”

She raised a thin brow, not sure what to say. “Wow. Really? But I couldn’t.” She shook her head, “It’s so much money!” Rochelle turned over towards her mother, giving her a hopeful look.

“If it’s not too expensive, I’ll pay for your trip.”

“Oh no. I want to pay for it. I wanna buy the ticket for Rochelle, for our sixth months monthiversary gift.” Danny huffed out his chest, tilting his chin up in the air. “I just gave it away.” He then muttered, “but you wouldn’t go if I didn’t tell you right?”

“You’re making me feel cheap.” Rochelle turned away from Danny, folding her arms across her chest. She then made her way over towards the closet that was just filled with the junk food from all over the country. She pulled out a bag of chips, shutting the door and leaned against it. “I’d have to get you something just as expensive then.”

“Oh please.” He rolled his eyes, “you being there is monthiversary gift enough.” He smiled, and then glanced over at Rochelle’s mother.

“That’s just about the corniest thing I’ve ever heard.” The older woman laughed, taking a sip of her cold coffee. “But it’s sweet anyway.” She gave Danny a pat on the back, “When is it?”

“In two weeks.” His eyes widened for a moment, then returned back towards its normal size. “I can’t wait. So, please, baby… let’s go! It’ll be tons of fun.”

With a sign of defeat, she nodded, “Alright. I’ll go with you.” She smiled, “I’m sure it’ll be enjoying.” Rochelle skipped over towards her boyfriend, hugging him tightly. “Thanks.”

“Happy monthiversary, baby.”

“Get a room.” Rochelle’s mother frowned, folding her arms across her chest, but laughed afterwards. “Alright. I’m going to go work now. You kids behave yourselves. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”

“That’s not much, Mom.”

“I love you, too.”

Rochelle laughed, the two of them remained linked together until her mother left the house, hearing the garage door to make sure that she was really gone. “So, how about that dinner you were saying that you’d cook?”

“I lied. I can’t cook.” Danny pouted slightly, “That’s why I have you, right?”

“Last time I checked, I wasn’t your maid.” Rochelle pulled herself away from him and took out the apron that was inside the closet that she had opened earlier. “What do you want?” She wrapped the object around her waist, tying the two strings in a tight knot.

“Anything that comes into your mind, hun.” He grinned, pulling a seat over towards the kitchen counter. Danny had already gotten used to the smaller house that Rochelle called a home. It was much homier than his home, if anyone asked. Her house was like his house. He slept over once, too. Though, sadly, not in the same room as Rochelle. Her mom wouldn’t allow it.

“Coming right up, Master Pryce.”

“Oh, that’s sexy.” He growled, grinning, “Do it again.” He leaned back against the seat, propping his feet up on the counter. His girlfriend smiled, pulling out a pan and well, basically everything else that was needed to create a meal.

It didn’t take long for Rochelle to cook up something. The two of them sat across from each other, with perfectly cooked fried rice and a bowl of miso soup, a Japanese tradition soup. She smiled at Danny, watching him chow down her food easily, while she took her time eating her dinner. “I hope you like it. I haven’t cooked in a while.” Rochelle laughed.

“It’s great. You’re talented.” He winked at her from across the table.

“Hey, Rochelle. Are you ready?” Danny ran upstairs as she was just getting dressed. It was two weeks later from that night, and they were going on their cruise to Disney World. It was eight in the morning. Danny called his girlfriend up earlier in the morning, making sure that she had everything packed and she was ready. Unfortunately, she wasn’t ready by the time Danny arrived.

He bit his lower lip as he watched her dress. “Danny!” She turned around, covering up her body. “What are you doing up here?” She blushed, “Get out!” She quickly grabbed a stuff toy that was upon her bed, tossing it over towards him.

Her boyfriend laughed, “It’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before.” He deflected the toy thrown at him as he quickly made his way over towards his girlfriend. He smiled, kissing her on the lips gently. “Mmm. You’re so hot.” He whispered into her ears as his hands slowly trailed up and down her waist. Danny licked his lips, smiling widely.

“I think you’re hot too.” She returned his kiss, but then pushed him away, out of her room, “But, if you delay me anymore. It’s going to be your fault, and we’re going to miss the boat.” She slammed the door in his face, and quickly began to put on the clothes that she planned out for tonight. She sighed, staring at herself, then grabbed her suitcase, and made her way downstairs.

“I told you, I wouldn’t be long. We would have been out of the door by now.” She stuck her tongue out at him. Danny rolled his eyes, muttering to himself. He went over, taking her suit case and walked out of the house. “Mom! I’ll miss you. I’ll call you whenever I can.” She smiled, giving her mother a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. “I’ll see you in a week.”

Rochelle waved to her mother as Danny drove off towards Russell’s house. “I can’t wait!” She smiled, “I’ve never been to Disney World.” She squealed, smiling widely.

“Seriously, now?” He raised a brow, glancing over at her. “You’re in for a real trip then.” He laughed, “So, we’re going to be going in a big van. I’m leaving my car at Russell’s, and the other two, Randy and Robert, are going to join us as well. So that gives us… one, two…five, seven guys and one girl. We’re going to have so much fun.” Danny grinned, winking at his girlfriend.

“Ugh, boys.” She laughed, crossing her leg over the other.

Later, the two of them arrived and in no time, the group left for the dock. It took somewhere around an hour to get to there. The band brought all of their equipments with them other than the drums which were too much to carry; they had their luggages to bring too.

“Oh my god!” Rochelle jumped up and down as the rest of the group took out everything. “It’s so big! It’s so beautiful!” She smiled, grabbing Danny’s arm. He smiled, taking their suitcase. “I can’t believe we’re here.” She hugged him tightly, kissing him on the cheek, “Let’s go!”

The group followed Rochelle and Danny as they walked up the walkway, handing in their tickets.

The cruise they were on was a four star cruise. Three days on the boat filled with live bands (which Celestial Haven was playing in also) games, spas, pools, shopping areas. It was a six leveled deck.

“Alright. So, everyone knows their room?” Danny turned around towards their group, “Rochelle and I are –” Scott cut him off.

“Uh-oh, I feel bad for whoever’s sleeping in the next room. It’s gonna be noisy at night.” He grinned, raising a brow for a moment. He glanced down at his ticket that was returned back to them, “Deck 615A.” He smiled, “Who’s my roomie?”

“I am.” Mike held up his hand, pursing his lips. “Great, huh?”

“Aha! Room 616A.” Danny poked Scott in the chest, “Lucky you huh? We’ll be loud, especially for you.” Rochelle slapped Danny’s arm. Her face was beet red. “Hehe, kidding.” He kissed her lips. The couple made their way into their own room, setting up everything. “So, we’re going to be playing tonight. And the last night here. And in the morning, and afternoon, we’re free to do whatever we feel like doing!” He wrapped his arms around her waist.

“What do you want to do?” He pulled her close to him, their hips bumping slightly into each other. “’Cause uh… I know what I wanna do.”
