Purgatory

There was a sudden interruption of her Heaven, the beautiful scenery seemed to be melting away as the sound of Tenchi's voice echoed through out the serenity. It was piecing, she fell to her knees. Her eyes were closed as she looked high up to the changing sky, it was changing from its peaceful blue to a hell like red almost as if it were a flicker from the flames of hell. Suddenly everything darkened, his face was her only sight. She began to cry yet nothing came forth, and suddenly everything exploded in darkness and there was a man... or Beast or something affront her. It slowly turned to her it was wielding a great blade. It had to be a Hellion for it held the same dark marks upon its body.

"I am the being Taike-ichi, here to place upon you a gift of Angelic portions. I have placed the same gift to Tenchi, yet his soul writhes within its pains." The being said and with the flicker of a flame her vision returned to normal. There was Tenchi sitting atop of his horse, Nightmare, holding his axe as if he were atop the world.

Neko looked around, she felt her horse beneath her but it was unknown to her how she'd gotten here in this forest. There was nothing around her except the silence of trees, the secrets of the forest crept around her like the smell of fresh apple pie unto the nose of the unexecpting passer-by.

"Tenchi, where the hell are we?" she asked directing her gaze to him, noticing the side of his face held a new mark. It wasn't black like the others it was a dark violet like a wilting violet. It seemed to creep across his face until the bottom of his left eye.

"You were leading us through?" he answered her in confusion. He looked at her suspiciously, wondering why'd she'd stopped. He laid his axe down horizontally across Nightmares' back, as a sign of impatience. He awaited her response yet none came, it was as if she was sitting there trying to go over her memories to figure out what had happened and how she'd gotten here.

"I had to kill you." Tenchi answered the unasked question as she looked up at him in utter discombobulation, "I don't know how nor why but you summoned Hell's own flame and changed it to something more fierce." He drug his hand down the purple marks on both sides of his face, "Your fire reminded me of being home in the dark pits of Hell, yet they weren't any comparison and only burned my flesh. I returned the favor and summoned Azur the dragon that dances in the flames, to devour you. You managed to knock of my attack and you turned my axe on me, yet I managed to get it out of your hands and I killed you. Dug the axe into your face and pulled each of your intestines out by hand!" Tenchi grew angry as he spoke of it, he picked up Eternity once more as if ready to fight.

"What?" she asked looking down at her hands, her nails were black unlike their usual pearl. She couldn't understand, she even felt different like there was something else in her soul.

"I feel it to, but I wont have a use for you if you don't keep moving." Tenchi said as he dismounted Nightmare and approached her, his hands glowing purple within a black fog that seemed to make the trees around them rustle. Neko looked at him in surprise, then it turned to anger. She pointed up at the sky and dropped her hand down and a bolt of golden lightening came down and struck Tenchi, he stopped. It hurt him yet he'd never show that it did, he took the armor of his torso and tossed Eternity to the side. She couldn't bear to see him, he had two violet dragon-like marks both going from his stomach to either side his body until they met the eye on each side. His eyes glow red as his hair blew in the wind, a bolt of lightening truck between the two. Nightmare ran off, Neko forced Blade to stay yet as soon as she dismounted it had run off after Nightmare.

Tenchi took a slight step forward, Neko let out a purple dragon composed of fire from the palm of her hand. It darted through the air after Tenchi, he snatched open the dragons mouth as it pushed to devour him. The teeth from the dragons upper jaw dug into Tenchi's left hand, as the bottom dug into his right hand. He was slowly being pushed down into the ground and backwards as the dragon slashed around in the air tearing its pull from Neko's hand. Neko controlled the beast with her mind, Tenchi began to struggle as his hands regained their normal color and the black fog lifted. Everything seemed to slow down, as it felt like his soul began to pulsate. Each of Tenchi's black marks slowly began to turn crimson as did his eyes, the violet marks across his torso and face changed blue and held the imprint of a dragon.

Tenchi let out a thundering cry, he snatched open the dragons jaw with a snap, he finished off by splitting it in half with his bare hands. He faced Neko, awaiting her next move, lightening began dancing violently with red and gold bolts as Neko put her hands together and bowed her head and closed her eyes as if to pray. A white light surrounded her as she lifted a few feet from the ground her eyes were a pure white, a sense of purity defined her person. Tenchi flexed both hands cracking his knuckles and readying himself for her. She floated over the ground towards him, she was stopped by the meeting of their palms. Lightening violently thrashed around them, Tenchi began digging his claws into her hand as he shot fire from both palms. Their hands glow a bright orange as crimson dripped from between them, her veins began to turn a fiery red as they crawled through her body from up her arms. She tried to pull away yet she could not, she felt as if she was going to die as the fire burned through her. She couldn't move it was as if her body had fallen limp and frozen. Neko could feel the fiery sickness wrapping its deadly claws on her mind and soul, the pain grew more invigorating as she began to turn to normal.

Neko let out a great scream, as her body returned to its normal state and she could not move. Tenchi sent a shock through her body as red lightening danced around the two, her head lurched back as a black smoke emitted from her body and he tossed her aside as if there was no longer a use for her.

"S. . .So, that. . . s it?" Neko said blood running from her fleshy palms, her body scorched all over, "J. . .Just one. . .SHOCK!" she said as she darted forward digging her hands into the back of Tenchi's head, she dropped to the ground as his heavy body fell to the ground. She put her left foot on his neck to pull her hands from his head, she began to stagger off after her horse. She couldn't walk straight yet managed to stay standing long enough to find Nightmare eating Blade's insides as her horse lay their dead. Nightmare looked up at her, and stomped his right hove.

"Don't fuck with me horse!" she whispered slowly, her eyes widened drastically. A sharp pain shot through her, she began to look down only to see a crimson covered hand surrounded by a black fog. She slumped silently to the ground as Tenchi pulled his hand back. He took a step towards Nightmare and fell, unconscious. . .
