Two Sides to a Coin

Torso naked grey skin holding in small yet vivid muscles. Face, covered by hair except for fangs and blood red eyes and protruding grey pointed ears. Wings surrounded the being, as it stood with a slight smile. I closed my eyes and slowly opened them to see if it was still there. It wasn't but something else had taken residence in the mirror, it was dressed just as I was. Its hair was a light blond and eyes a deep oceanic blue, white wings fell over him. I placed my hand on my chest, as did the thing in the mirror, and then I remembered my mother telling me of the people they called Angel's.

I knew then, what it was in the mirror. I knew it was me in the mirror but I knew not why, I needed to know why this was happening.

I stood there for hours going over, and over myself. There was so many more differences, there was no longer the look of fear and the long to belong somewhere in my eyes. I felt at peace, then the image changed to my normal self. I looked at my hands, they were mine. I looked behind me at the opened door, they sky was covered in clouds. Part of me wanted the sun to come back out and the other part of me yearned for the moon. I stared up at the sky, it held answers but released more questions. I could smell the rain. I dropped to the floor, sitting on the Kushido blade. I laid back on the floor and thought about what was happening. I felt overwhelmed that this was happening to me but at the same time I wanted this curse to go away. I closed my eyes to listen to the wind, there was none. Although I could hear the whispers of my mind, trying to cope with itself. My head began to hurt, it was like something was trying to escape. I loved it.
