A Hero’s Lament
Your all alone in the end couse no bodies your friend
Dosent matter that you’ve been called a hero so many times before
For in the end all they ever wanted was for you to save them
And when you did when you had
They just left you on your own
Your all alone
Me that’s me
All alone
Cant you see
They deserted me
When id given them what they wanted
When id saved their sorry assses
But in the end
They left me all alone
Your all alone in the end couse no bodies your friend
I thought they were I trusted them
But in the end but in the end
They left me
Left me alone
And I realized
That’s cold lonely thing to be a hero

Cant you see
They deserted me
When id given them what they wanted
When id saved their sorry assses

Wether they hate worship you or envy you
Your still alone
Still on your own
No matter what they say they feel
Couse there loves loves not true
They only love what you have done
Their not your friends
cause in the end they were bought by someone else

And worst of all you failed

Cuose failed to save the one only one you needed to
The one person that truly loved you
The one person that held in their arms and didn’t want anything in return but your love
So you failed no matter what they say

Do you want absolution from your sins?
What sins have you committed?
Have you lied to authority?
Have you disobeyed those you should have obeyed?
Have you hurt others?
Have you killed or caused death?
What sins have you committed?
Confess
How do you want absolution?
To tell again and again what you have done
To be reminded by others
To confess each day on your knees
To feel another’s hand
To feel a lash upon your skin
Self-flagellation

For at least that way I wouldn’t grieve
I wouldn’t be the one left behind

Cause then at least I wouldn’t be wearing the thorn crown

Cause I loved him and he has moved on and I can not live without and must now forcefully pass on
For he could have lived without me he could have moved on
But it’s a sweet potion that I’m drinking now.
