hidden in the shaddows

it had been a week since I moved in with a foster family they where pretty nice people their names where James and Leasea and they where both in their forties Leasea worked at art galleries but she was only a temp so she was kinda like a stay home mom James worked at a law frem but he had pretty easy hours they had two other kids like me, foster kids I mean but they where only there while their real parents got things back on track they are bother and sister their names are Jessica and Daniel they are both younger then me the girl is 7 and the boy is 10 we each have our own rooms I’m is small with a twin size bed and white walls it also has a desk and dresser with a small bed side table the rest of the house is pretty average it is located in the suburbs I have to change schools and I have talked to my friends only once since I got here I haven’t started school yet its taking them awhile to get all the proper paper work I guess u could say its a prefect way to start off new it was about 9 am and I could smell breakfast cooking it was a Saturday so every one was home I pulled the covers off and got dressed in a pair of decent jeans and a nice button up white shirt I pulled my hair back in to a decent pony tale and walk out of the bed room and in to the kitchen I saw Leasea cooking over the stove her back was turned to me. Smells good can I help, she turned to me ,Sure get out the bread and make some toast I’m about done, Leasea was slim she had dirty blond hair that was wavy and sweet brown eyes she always dressed casual and simple by the time we had the table set every one was in the kitchen ready to eat I was still getting use to the whole eating together thing so I didn’t talk much I just sat there and poked at my food as I sat there looking up every now and then so Alick how was your first week ,I heard and I looked up it was James talking he had short black hair with gray in spots and green eyes that almost reminded me of my mother it was hard for me to look at him for this reason ,I glanced at him barley making eye contact Fine thanks I replied , he looked and nodded his head to show he understood and went back to his food and I was happy he didn’t have much of a replied I finished my food and helped Jessica clean the table she was pretty adorable she had curly brown hair with blue eyes that where sweet I then proceed to my room it was only around 10:30 am but there wasn’t much to do I grabbed my book of the side table and sat back on the bed I read a couple of chapters , but really in the end all I was doing was staring at the pages I couldn’t focus my mind I put the book down out of aggravation and walked out of my room to the front door I told
Leasea I was going to go for a walk she replied an ok from the couch I walked out the screen door it was a nice day around 80. I walked until I saw an empty neighborhood park I sat down on a small swing and push my self back and forth so wind would blow in my face and pull the hair out of my face that had fallen down from my pony tale I let every thing flow out of me I stop the swing and stood up it was now around 11:30 and figured I should probably head back until I hared a voice call out my name I turned to see a tall boy around my age with dark black hair that was pretty shaggy and the brightest blue eyes I had only seen once before he wore a pair of baggie jeans and a band t I recognize him almost instaly he was in my forth grade class until one day he just up and moved his name was Damien , I ran up to and almost knocked him over giving him a hug I quickly stepped back letting him catch his breath he asked me what I was doing there I told him what happen he expressed he was sorry I told him it wasn’t his fault. We hung out and talk through out the rest of the day I found that they had moved because his mom got a job offer and they needed the money and that his mom had recently got married to a guy he did not like at all he also had a new baby brother now 3.
he walk walked me home that night he laid his hand on my shoulder and I walk in side letting his hand fall to his side he waved good bye as he walked down the stone steps and I shut the heavy wooden door
