Chapter 4
I ride around the city for an hour before I find a vampire out for his evening meal. I park the bike and follow him. He turns in to an alley, I follow him in but find nothing. I am kicked from behind. "Well, well what do we have here dinner?" He says grinning like a Cheshire cat.
He grabs my shoulders and leans over to bite. I kick him in the groin. He goes down holding himself. I take out a dagger and slash both his cheeks. The one thing about vampires that is not true is that they heal to look like what they did before. I grab his neck and back him against the wall. "No ass hole I am not dinner. Tell the master that the Raven is here to kill him and get the girl back." I say and let him go and he runs out of the alley. I watch him. He will be the only one I let go tonight. I walk out of the alley and continue my hunt.
The guy runs to an abandoned factory. He walks in and practically runs to the man with black hair and black eyes. "Master, the Raven is here and she said she is going to kill you and get the girl." He says.
"Are you sure?" A man with black hair and clear blue eyes sitting next to the man he was addressing asks.
"Who the fuck do you think gave me these." He says showing his cheeks. "It was that fucking bitch." The man with black hair and eyes turned his face to the boy and nods. A man comes up to him and drives a knife in to his back and threw his heart.
"You did not have to do that Valuchek." A small blonde girl says walking up to him.
"Veronica you do not understand. He was talking about the woman I want as my bride." He says leaning back in his chair. "Moric will tell you I hate that." He gestures to the man sitting next to him.
"But he said that she said she will kill you and take me away." Veronica says.
"She won't. I will have her before the next full moon." Valuchek says smiling.
"Do you think we should send out some more people?" Moric asks.
"Yes. It will give her something to do." Valuchek says getting up and walks out of the room.
I am sitting on a park bench catching a breather and I am rubbing my hair together. The sound that is coming from it is a cracking sound. When I spot another vampire near a tree. "Jezz. Can't I sit down for a second?" I get up and run over. The vampire looks up his eyes a clear blue almost the exact color of the sea. I take my dagger and go straight for the heart. He grabs my hand and bends it back until the dagger falls. Before I can kick he grabs my waist and pushes me up against the tree with such force that he almost knocked me out.
"I have a message from the master. He said he will have you before the next full moon." He says.
"That is in two and a half weeks." I say.
"Good you know when the date is." He says and lets me go and disappears. I search around for him but do not find him. I see that it is almost sunrise so I go back to the house. I arrive and walk up the front stairs and turn around and watch the sun. The wind picks up the few hairs that are not coated with blood. One of the maids opens the door.
"Miss is there something wrong?" She asks concerned.
"No I do this every morning. Mostly because I am glad I can see it again." I say grabbing my duffel bag and enter the house. We walk up stairs and enter the room I throw my coat over the chair that is the only thing with out blood on it because I always take it off before fighting. I take off everything that I am wearing.
"Why is that on your back?" She asks.
"That symbolizes that I am a hunter. The one right here states my name." I say pointing to the bird. She leaves the room. I walk in to the bathroom. My hair is mated with blood and a coat of blood stains my body. This has never happened before of course I have never had a night of hunting like I did last night. They seemed to be coming out of the wood works. I turn on the shower and stand under the water. I look down the water coming off of my body is bright red, the color of blood. I scrub my hair clean of the blood and wash off the blood off of my body. I get out of the shower and look in to the mirror. My eyes are hard and cold where they use to be soft and warm.
I put a towel on and walk in to the room. I pick up the diary and start reading again. After ten minutes I figure out the reason she started to run with this crowd. They made it seem like they were immortal and she wanted that. I get up and walk over to the desk where I set up my computer. I open my email box and find a message in it:

I have found some new information about the family. You might want to investigate. Also the word on the streets is that the master has a big plan on how he is going to get you to be his.
End message.
I open a new message box:

What is the information already know the plan the master has in mind. He sent one of his minions after me to tell it to me.
End massage.
I close the lab top and take off the towel and slip in to a tank top and some underwear and get in to bed and fall in to a dreamless sleep immediately.
