Suri woke slowly from her deep sleep; she had the feeling someone was there. A small bit of light shown through her window, letting her know she had slept long and well. She sat up slowly and stretched as her eyes fell on Gadrien. He was sitting in a chair near the door just staring at her. There was a time of silence as they looked at each other before he spoke.

“Did you sleep well Suri?”

She smiled and stood, making her way to the door so she could go dress as Mel would want her to.

“I did Master Gadrien.”

He caught her arm as she passed him, and Suri could feel then the desperation in him. He reached up to her hair and pulled the tie from it, the dark auburn strands unraveled a short way as he stood.

“You should wear your hair loose today Suri, the Masters will like it.”

His deft fingers slowly removed her braid, taking care of any tangles as he went. When finished he ran his hands through her long hair, admiring it for a time before he sighed and finally let her go.

“Go dress for Mel before she gets angry. She has a lot of work to do today.”

He stood and left her there, his exit sad and hastened. In truth, she didn’t want him to go. She didn’t understand why, but she longed for him to be near her. A sob took her as she fell to her knees in the abandoned hall. Today was the last day she would be seeing Gadrien as well. There would be no more meals, no more lessons, no more walks or talks. He wasn’t her great Master, only her keeper; he had no rights to her as a Fallen.

She let her tears pour out before she gained herself again and swallowed her sadness. A great Fallen does not cry, does not show sadness, only pleasure, and pleasure for her Master. She must be pleasing to the eye and the heart and the mind, she must be wanted by all and had by one. She must satisfy every perversion, and tickle every fancy of her Master, and please him until he is spent.

She repeated to herself the words and ideas that Mel had given her, they were her sword. She cut back fear and hate and doubt with the words, they were now her sanctuary. She had to make them all proud, Gadrien, Mel, Vels; she had to show them that she’s become what they all hoped for. She slipped silently into the bathroom and found her clothes as they had left them the night before. She sighed, and painstakingly donned them as Mel had shown her. She clipped the collar closed and stared at herself for a time in the mirror. She was stunning, she slung her hair around and realized Gadrien was right; they would like her hair free, spilling down her body and hiding parts of her. She brushed her hair gently until it shinned before Mel arrived. She carried a handful of small vials with her and set them all down on the chair hastily.

“I have one more thing to show you child, but we must make haste, Master Drakus will be here any moment and we mustn’t keep him waiting.”

She pulled out a circular powder box with a small pink puff inside.

“Lift your skirts.”

She did as she was told as Mel dabbed her sex lightly with the powder.

“Now your arms.”

She again obeyed as she place a dab under each arm.

“The next thing to beauty Suri is your smell. Men go crazy for a wonderful smell, it will enhance the booze they will be drinking at the auction.”

She then put the powder away and returned with a spray. She perfumed her stomach, chest, neck and wrists. She then hurried back and rummaged in the vials before returning with another small powder box, but this one held red instead of white.

“Blush is a beautiful thing, men love it when a woman blushes, this will make you look so innocent they’ll cum in their pants.”

Suri blushed deeply at Mel’s words; she knew what she was talking about. But she laughed at her gesture.

“That’s perfect dear, think of sex and they’ll go nuts over you.”

She finished with the blush and stared at her for a rushed moment.

“I will tell you one thing now Suri that may save your life one day. Masters have many Fallen most times, and Fallen become jealous when they feel their Master is showing too much favor towards another.”

She moved in close and lowered her voice deep, barely saying what needed to be said.

“Learn to be cautious, learn to lie, and learn every pillow trick you can. Because if your Master favors you, he keeps you. If he doesn’t, you become a Trait. You go to the pits of hell where Lucifer resides and you become his plaything then. Don’t let that happen Suri, make him love you, and when he’s through, he’ll free you.”

Mel opened the door and led her into the hall. Suri could have sworn Mel was becoming sad, that hard woman was near tears for her.

“I can’t go with you to Master Drakus, I must stay here. Go quickly child, and be careful. Remember everything I taught you and never error. Go to him.”

Suri wanted to run, but she withheld her urge, she wanted to cry, but she recited her words. She was going to be strong before all of Hell, she couldn’t hide and she couldn’t cry. The butterflies in her stomach threatened to lift her from the floor, but she remained steadfast as she entered the room she had been severed in. All the beds were empty of sleeping Fallen; the only life was Gadrien and Drakus. She entered slowly and gracefully with her eyes to the floor stones and quickly fell to her knees before Drakus.

“You may stand Suri.”

She obeyed, and swallowed the fear in her throat. Drakus was a powerful man, he could give her life and he could take it away from her in a second.

“Are you ready to go Suri?”

Gadrien motioned towards a door that led outside…that was something new to her. She had never been outside before, and she was afraid to see what hell looked like.

“I am Master Gadrien. But…my things.”

“Everything is in the coach already, your clothes, and your good luck charm.”

Suri couldn’t help but lock her gaze with his as he winked at her. He meant her rabbit that Vels had given her. She couldn’t take it; she went to him and hugged him a final time. She didn’t care what Drakus though, Gadrien was her first Master, and he wouldn’t be her last.

“Alright Gadrien, release your bond to her.”

Gadrien shot a surprised look at Drakus, but he quickly hid it.

“Yes Master Drakus.”

He placed his hand around her throat, a startling development to Suri, but he didn’t choke her, or hurt her. He pulled a thin line of white light from her throat, like he had from her forehead when he severed her. The hurt expression on his face told all. He had bonded himself to her to save her…Drakus knew that.

“Go to the coach Suri, I must speak with Gadrien alone.”

She curtsied and left quickly, not wanting to anger Drakus more than he already was. When his back was turned she looked over to Gadrien one last time, she was surprised to find him staring back. She swallowed the lump in her throat hard and walked out the door, closing it softly behind her.

As she looked about her she wanted to cry, Hell looked as Hell should look. A sun shown through dark smoke from fires set randomly about black stones and ash. There were no trees, no life, only heat and flame. The coach sat on a gravel driveway, an ugly black thing with no polish. The horses that pulled it were black as well, but in no way true horses. Their fur was melted and matted to their bodies until they looked almost sticky, ash stuck to their legs from the road and on their bellies. Blood dripped lightly from their noses and from their empty red sockets where their eyes should be. A small man, one who had no real particular look about him, stood before the open door of the coach waiting for her. He was a slimy looking man, a bottom feeder, but she remembered her courtesies in his presence. She curtsied low and dropped her gaze.

“Master.”

He bowed to her and motioned for her to enter, offering his hand to help.

“Lady Suri, please take a seat, Master Drakus will be with you shortly.”

She let him help her into the coach and got as comfortable as she could in the dark recesses of the old thing. The interior was a deep red, almost a blood color, but it looked black due to the black shades over the windows. She was only alone a few moments to gather herself before Drakus entered the coach and it lurched forward. The sound of a whip and the loud whinnying of the horses was all that penetrated the thick wood around them. Suri sat next to the window, staring out at the objects they passed through the thin dark material. Drakus sat across from her to the center of the seat, only staring at her. She felt his heavy gaze upon her but she wanted only silence. She knew she wouldn’t keep her wish for long though.

“Are you afraid Suri?”

His words sounded sinister as they slid past his teeth, a chill ran down her spine but she suppressed the urge to shudder.

“Yes Master Drakus.”

She could feel him smile through the darkness between them.

“What do you think will find you at the auction?”

She let her gaze drop from the window and allowed herself a glance at his face. It was dark, he wouldn’t see. She gasped as his eyes shown in the dark like cats, her eyes widened as she quickly looked away. He laughed.

“I expect to find men like you Master Drakus, men like Gadrien and Vels. Creatures unheard of, and things better left unknown.”

“What is the place of a Fallen Suri? What are your duties?”

She closed her eyes and pictured Mel; she knew so much about Fallen and their Masters. She knew what they wanted and what their places were and had taught her all of it.

“A Fallen must be beautiful and tantalizing. Wanted by all and had by one. She must fulfill her Masters every desire, every perversion and fantasy until all his seed is spent. She must make him want her above all others, and serve him faithfully until he releases her.”

He laughed evilly from his seat.

“Is that what Gadrien taught you? Oh how sweet. It’s true though, you just put it into prettier words than I would. In truth, your pretty little pink pussy goes to the highest bidder, be him demon or beast it matters not to me, money is money. And he’ll fuck you and tear you and ruin you until he finds another tight little pussy to fuck. And when he does, he’ll show you no mercy, your life doesn’t matter to him anymore. He’ll toss you aside for His Greatness, and you’ll be his plaything. But I warn you, his dick is bigger than any mans you’ll find at the auction, he’ll rip you in half when he enters you, and you’ll die with his cum mixing with your blood on his chamber floor.”

Suri clenched her jaw hard, trying to suppress the tears that were filling her. She wouldn’t cry, she was a Fallen; she had to be beautiful and perfect for her Master.

The coach lurched to a halt as Drakus stood and exited first. He offered her his hand but she declined and stepped down to the hot stone herself. She couldn’t bear touching the monster; she refused to ever touch him. She realized as she stepped out that they were to the back of the building for the auction. She could hear the commotion inside and the noise of so many people in one place. Other coaches were pulling forward, spilling out other Masters and Fallen, either walking freely or in chains, dressed in rags or riches, it mattered not. They were all destined for the same fate. Drakus led her inside and sighed a paper registering her. He then passed her off to strangers before leaving her. They brushed her hair and powdered her face and lotioned her skin until she was covered with a light sheen. Then they led her onto the auction stage. The curtains were closed, but the noise of the Masters was louder than ever. There was a layered platform, the lowest starting bids were on the lowest level and the highest were led to the top. There were five levels. She was gathered into a group of five Fallen. Two others were women, and two were men. All were dressed as finely as their old Masters pockets could afford and all were ushered to the top level.

A little man with fat fingers and a strangely shaped head waddled to the front of the stage and looked over the arrangement.

“Alright everyone places! You up there sit down! Look your best and don’t scream! Quite down now! Ready, and, open curtains!”

A loud crank began to pull the large curtains away to reveal the Masters. Suri then understood why he said to not scream. They were demons and beasts and creatures never seen before. Some looked like men one minute, but were a beast the next. And some were normal save wings or horns or claws. She only held her breath and hid her fear, she refused to look afraid. The lowest level of the platform cranked forward until to the edge of the stage and the bidding began. The stump of a man would grab the arm of a Fallen and call out the starting number. Then dozens would follow until a final bid was found. A name was taken then and the Fallen led backstage to be purchased and bonded after the auction was over. Once the first platform, which had twenty maybe thirty Fallen was cleared, the level was cranked back and lowered into the floor so the next level could be pulled forward for bidding. One of the younger Fallen to her left began crying and one of the men tried to comfort her. Her eyes were wide and afraid as if she was going mad.

“Who was your Master at your first auction girl?”

Suri turned to the older man speaking to her, he was stern looking but young and very handsome.

“This is my first auction.”

He scoffed at her.

“You’re awfully brave then, that young one over there looks ready to kill herself.”

Suri stared head on into the crowd of creatures before her. It was only a matter of time before she was thrown to them, a sheep amongst the wolves.

“A Fallen is brave and beautiful, she serves and carries out any wish asked of her by her Master. She must be strong to please him and brave to serve him.”

He stared into the crowd with her, a knowing look in his eyes tinged with sadness.

“You will have many Masters girl, just as I have. You will know what sadness and fear and pain is when you reach my time.”

Suri swallowed hard as the second level was cleared, it was all going too fast, her turn was coming too near. She swallowed the urge to throw up and closed her eyes. She saw Gadrien and Mel and Vels, Gadrien’s beautiful wings she never got to touch. Mel’s strong words and heart. Vels kindness and affection, she wanted them back, she wanted to go back. But when she opened her eyes she was still at the auction, the half man was still calling out bids and throwing Fallen backstage. Masters were still calling out their numbers eagerly as they drank down booze. And Gadrien was nowhere to be seen, so far out of reach now she couldn’t bear it. She sat down gracefully next to the frantic girl who now held the attention of the older woman too.

“What do you have lined up to tell the Masters?”

She turned her attention towards the man again with a confused look.

“I have to speak before them?”

He blinked at her in disbelief.

“The Fallen with the highest starting bids have to answer questions before the Masters. A little piece of advice, answer them all truthfully and quickly. Don’t look afraid, because they’ll rip you to shreds if they smell fear, and always…always, look at the half man when you answer. If you look at the Masters you’ll disgrace them.”

Suri nodded to him as he gave her a warning look.

“Thank you.”

He smiled at her and nodded back.

“It’s the least I can do, I wish someone had told me such things at my first Auction.”

The third level was cleared and they now moved onto the fourth. They were so close to the Masters now, she could smell the booze and the human stench. The frantic girl next to her pulled herself to her feet with a look of resolve in her eyes. She ran full force off the edge of the platform and plummeted head first to the stage. Her neck turned to a disgusting angle with a crack when she hit, sending Suri’s stomach swirling but again, she suppressed the urge. The older woman who had tried to comfort her screamed and the young man began to weep.

“She should have done that sooner, it would have been easier for her when we were higher up.”

Suri looked at him in disbelief, he was so distant from feeling and so unaffected. Was she to become that way? The auction continued as if it hadn’t happened, men came and carried her body away and cleaned up the blood that had began to pool about her. They quickly cleared the forth level since there was only ten Fallen there, and the time came for them. The half man walked up to them and pulled the older woman to center stage.

“Looks like we only have four favored Fallen tonight folks, the younger one thought she could fly.”

The crowd laughed at his jest but the remaining Fallen didn’t find it so funny. It was then that Suri found herself feeling so alone in a sea of unknown faces. She didn’t even hear the questions he asked the woman, she didn’t hear the numbers shouted or the claims called. She didn’t return to her senses until the older man placed a hand on her shoulder and stood. She didn’t remember the woman being taken, or the younger man being questioned, but now it was his turn and she would be next.

“What’s your name?”

“Jon.”

“Who severed you?”

“Master Drakus.”

“Who did you serve?”

“Mistress Sulli and Mistress Comntra.”

“Are you pure?”

“No.”

“What age were you when your virginity was taken?”

“Seventeen.”

“What was the highest bid you’ve ever been taken for?”

“Seven thousand.”

“The bid starts and seven thousand!”

The numbers rang clear as Suri noticed for the first time female Mistresses calling their bids. And even a few men. Jon was tossed back stage when the highest bidder called fifty thousand and no one else dared top it.

It was Suri’s turn then as the half man took her by the wrist and led her to center stage. She looked only at him as she awaited his questions, trying hard to not look afraid.

“What is your name?”

She swallowed hard, she had to answer quickly.

“Suri.”

“Who severed you?”

“Master Gadrien.”

“I understand this is your first auction?”

“Yes.”

“Are you pure?”

“Yes.”

Her answer raised mumbles and whispers in the crowd that alarmed her, but she refused to let her fear show, she stared at the half man and waited for his questions.

“What is your age?”

“Seventeen.”

He gave her an evil smile.

“Are you afraid?”

She smirked, getting a handle on her churning stomach.

“Not of you.”

A roar of laughter went up from the small man and the crowd; her quick whit saved her this time. She hoped it would do her good again.

“Bidding starts at fifty thousand for that lovely joke!”

“Seventy!”

“Ninety!”

“Two hundred.”

His soft voice was heard over the noise so easily that it was strange to her. He stepped forward coolly, his blue eyes chilling her through strands of black hair. His face was young, maybe mid twenties, and his body lean but hidden beneath a black trench coat. The half man bent down to his face, his microphone in hand.

“Did you mean two hundred thousand Master?”

He nodded.

“Will anyone top that?”

Silence filled the room, save soft murmurs and whispers.

“Going once…going twice…sold!”

Suri stared at his chilling gaze as he smirked at her. She wasn’t sure that fate had been kind to her. The half man dragged her roughly off stage as the auction ended and rummaged through his clipboard for her papers Drakus had filled out.

“You are gold girl, gold! Where are your papers…you’re going home first!”

He laughed happily as he found her sheet and stood on a chair in search for her new Master. She saw him before the half man did, coming through the crowded room effortlessly, his gaze locked on her. She looked away, startled by his intensity.

“There you are! I’ll need your name and the cash Master.”

He pulled out the tied bills from inside his coat.

“Here is your money, my name is Lukas.”

“Sign here Master Lukas.”

He handed him the clipboard and he quickly scrolled his name.

“Count it if you like, it’s all there. I’m going on my way now.”

The half man chuckled.

“No need for me to count it, I know it’s there Master Lukas. Good night.”

Lukas took her by the wrist and led her outside to his coach. It was considerably more cheerful than Drakus’, being a silver color instead of a black. His horses a brown color, and with eyes and no blood or melted fur. He was so gentle with her, helping her into the coach and sitting across from her after closing the door. The coach lurched forward as he sat silently staring at her. It wasn’t long before she gathered her courage.

“May I speak Master Lukas?”

He nodded his approval.

“Why do you stare?”

He chuckled deep in his chest.

“You’re beautiful Suri.”

She blushed deeply and stared at the floor of the coach.

“You may look at me, I won’t punish my Fallen for seeing me.”

She lifted her gaze slowly to meet his icy one; she sucked air in through her lips. His eyes were stunning, something she had never seen before. He ignored her astonishment.

“Tonight I’ll show you to your room and introduce you to Lillian. On the morrow she’ll show you the mansion and tell you what your place is.”

Suri nodded gazed out the window again as Hell passed them by. She wrinkled her nose to the smell of sulfur and to ash floating around them.

“I have a garden if you dislike this desolace…it’s near my chambers. I’ll give you access to it whenever you want if you’d like.”

She looked up to him again, a small smile was on his lips but his eyes told a different story. He seemed troubled, maybe angry.

“A gift?”

He nodded.

“A gift for my most prized possession.”

She blushed again as they road on in silence. The ride to Lukas’ mansion was much longer than the one with Drakus, but she didn’t mind. When they reached their destination she was very tired and it was late. He helped her out and led her to the door where a woman was waiting, she was a little older than Suri but no older than Lukas.

“Suri meet Lillian.”

Suri curtsied to her as Mel had taught her, and Lillian curtsied back. They went inside and Suri was blown away from the size of her new home. A large double staircase went to a second level, great halls expanded to her right and left into living rooms and dining rooms of grandeur.

“Come, I’ll take you to your room.”

She openly gapped at the beauty around her as Lukas led her up the stairs and down a hall to her room. Once inside Lillian leaned against the doorframe.

“Your dresser has all your clothes from Gadrien, your rabbit is on the bed. We’ll fill your wardrobe this week after you get settled in some.”

She nodded as he came near to her; he stood a little more than half a foot taller than her.

“And your first rule you will learn is that Fallen in my mansion do not wear clothes to bed. They all sleep in their skins.”

He delicately unlatched her golden collar and slipped off her top reveling her pert breasts. She blushed deeply but didn’t deny him; she didn’t wish to anger her new Master on her first night. He pressed his face against the crook of her neck and breathed her scent in deep as he untied her skirt and let it drop to the floor. His hands ran up her body sending waves of electricity through her. He stepped away from her, an obvious bulge in the front of his pants, and moved towards the door unbuttoning his shirt in the process.

“Lillian will direct you to your duties in the morning.”

With that he left, Lillian was smiling at her evilly from the doorway, her voice slithering out from her lips mocking her.

“Good night.”

She closed the door and locked it from the outside, putting her into yet another cage. Suri was crushed. He wanted her; he was supposed to want her, why didn’t he take her as Mel said he would? She pressed her rabbit to her chest as she began to hear creaking from the other side of the wall across her room. She pressed her ear against the wall. It was a bed that was creaking and she could hear the breathy moans of Lillian and Lukas. He didn’t want her, she wasn’t his prize; it was too much. She had left Mel and Gadrien and Vels because they spoke of her being so wanted and loved by a Master of great stature. She was auction and sold and now that she’s found her great Master he doesn’t want her. Tears began to pour down her face. She had been cheated. She was no ones prize, she wasn’t wanted; she couldn’t fulfill his needs as Mel had told her she could. She sobbed against the wall; her rabbit clutched to her tightly as she listened to her Master make love.

FIN: it's so sad! *tear* so who hates Lillian and Drakus? I DO! lol anyway, I was able to put this chapter up b/c i'm sick as a dog today. I stayed home from work b/c i have a lovely sinus infection. Yayness! Expect the next chapter in two to three days. until next time my lovelies xoxoxoxoox
