Lilith

I woke up hazily to fuzz, fluff, and the butt of my cat. I sat up and pushed Mr. Garrison away. I looked around with my eyes half closed. I got up and fed my fish, Akito. Yes, I named my fish after my favorite character, he even has a castle.

I went to the bathroom and did my morning thingies and went back to bed.

I woke up agian to the sound of my mom leaving for work and sunlight hitting me.

Sunlight? I thought to myself.

Oh God! Oh Keeva! I’m late! I shouted in my head as I instantly sprang awake as though I had a caffeine reserve.

I rushed around. I put on a pair of dark green pants that were a few sizes too big. I reached for a baggy shirt. I stopped for a moment. I thought. For some reason I had a feeling that something special would happen today that I would want to be dressed up for. My hand changed its direction and I dramatically put on a nice purple tank top with some subtle frills and lace.

I looked in the mirror at how pretty I looked. After I finished admiring my pretty reflection I put on my gray hoody that was made for a large man. I picked up my book bag and ran out the door.

I ran as fast as I could to my bus stop as I saw my bus stopped. As soon as I was three feet from the stop the bus started up and started to drive away. I chased after it, banging on the side.

I wasn’t looking and accidentally ran into a man.

“Sorry!” I yelled as I got back up and continued the chase.

I ran too quickly to notice the long black hair, the body that was under the suit, or the golden eyes behind the sunglasses. I was too busy to see that it was the man I have been writing about.
