Chapter 4
So, here is the next chapter. I've been working on it for what seems like forever. I'm going to work on my other story, "Student Teacher Relations". I want to get the next chapter out for that.
Don't forget my writing journal. I mentioned it before.
I hope you enjoy the chapter. And remember, I love constructive criticism.

"Shit! I'm late!" Matt yelled as he pushed a sleeping Yuki off of him.
Matt didn't want to get out of bed. He wanted to lay there with Yuki clinging to him all day. He felt bad disturbing him. Yuki looked happy when he slept. Matt was surprised at him self. He was usually done with a relationship by this point. He usually got the person in bed with him and then the next day he was gone.
This relationship was different. Sure, he wanted Yuki. He wanted to make Yuki scream his name. But the boy was broken. He knew Yuki would never go for that. Not now at least. Matt knew he was hurting. He wanted to end Yuki’s pain for him. Matt had to take things slow. Yuki liked him, but he knew Yuki was fighting with his emotions. He was unsure of himself.
He never took things slow. He never had to. Maybe that’s why he liked Yuki so much. Everyone else just wanted to use Matt for a good fuck. Yuki was turned off by that.
But Matt would have his way with Yuki; sooner or later. He smirked to himself.
Yuki sat up in bed and watched Matt run around like a chicken with his head cut off. Yuki's head was throbbing. He'd have to yell at Matt later for getting him drunk.
"I'll come back after work. I'll go shopping for food since you have nothing at all." Matt said heading for the door. "I want to see you with blond hair when I come home." He turned around and smirked at Yuki before heading out the door.
Yuki groaned and pulled the blankets over his head. He told Matt he enjoyed the kiss yesterday. How dumb was that? The kiss was awkward. He wasn’t gay! But why did he feel so empty now that Matt was gone. He wanted Matt back in bed.
He wanted Matt in bed. Yuki shook his head. No, that’s wrong. He doesn’t want a relationship with Matt. He can’t. It’s wrong. But, he did enjoy that kiss. Yuki crawled out of bed. He had feelings for Matt. Feelings he couldn’t deny it. He didn’t know what to do. He never felt that way before for anyone. Male or female.
Yuki grabbed the bag with the hair dye off the kitchen counter and headed towards the bathroom.
Matt walked into Yuki’s apartment without knocking. He was carrying two white grocery bags full of food. Doesn’t that boy lock his door? It’s dangerous to leave it un-locked like that. He’d have to yell at Yuki later.
Matt dropped the groceries on the floor and ran over to the futon. A blonde Yuki was laying on the futon. A knife in one hand and blood running down his milky white skin. There were cuts up and down Yuki’s left arm. Matt tried to take the knife out of the blondes hand, but he wouldn’t let go.
“Yuki! Give me the knife!” Matt yelled startling at Yuki. Yuki handed Matt the knife and started to sob.
Matt dropped the knife on the white carpet and ran to get a clean towel out of the bathroom. He came back to the futon and grabbed Yuki’s arm.
“No! Don’t touch me! Leave me alone!” Yuki screamed at Matt as he pulled his blood covered arm away from the dark haired man.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” Matt was scared. Why was Yuki pushing him away? He reached out and tried to grab Yuki again. Yuki pushed himself further away from Matt. “Yuki! I have to stop the bleeding. Please, let me help.”
Matt stood and watched Yuki for a few moments. Yuki’s green eyes were wide with fear. “Yuki, come here.” Matt said sternly. Yuki shook his head.
Matt pulled Yuki from the futon and sat down on the floor with the smaller boy in his lap. Yuki struggled to get out of Matt’s grasp. The stronger boy wrapped his arm firmly around Yuki’s waist so he couldn’t get up.
“Shh. It will be okay. Calm down. I promise I won’t hurt you.” Matt whispered into Yuki’s ear. “Let me help you. I’ve got to clean you up.” Yuki stopped struggling, but continued to cry. He watched as Matt wrapped the towel around his bloody arm.
He didn’t want Matt to see him like this. Yuki knew he must look pathetic to Matt. Yuki felt bad for pulling away from him. Being held in Matt’s arms made him feel safe.
Matt kept pressure on Yuki's arm to stop the bleeding. “What happened? Why did you do this?” There was no anger in Matt’s voice only fear and concern.
Yuki sniffled. “My boss called. H-he fired me. He said my mother called him and told him that I tried to kill myself. He said he doesn’t want me working for him anymore. He told me to go home to my mother so she can help me.”
Matt ran his hand through Yuki’s newly dyed hair. “Well, we’ll just get you another job. I’m sure we’ll be able to find you one.”
Yuki shook his head. “She showed up here. She told me she called every place in town. Told them not to hire me. She tried to get me to go home with her. When I refused she said she’ll come back with someone from the mental institution and they’d drag me out. Don’t let them take me!” Yuki turned around in Matt's arms and buried his face in Matt’s chest.
“She can’t take you if she can’t find you. Come home with me. I live out of town. She won’t find you.” Matt hugged Yuki tightly. “I won’t let her get to you.”
Yuki shook his head. “I don’t want to get you involved. It’s best just to forget about me. Just leave me alone...” Yuki tried to pull away from Matt, but Matt held Yuki in his arms.
“I already am involved. I can’t forget about you. Let me help you.”
“Why?” Yuki looked into Matt’s blue eyes.
“Why what?”
“Why help me? Just to get into my pants?”
Matt sighed. “No. I’m not helping you just so I can get into your pants...” He rolled his eyes. “I know you think that, but I care about you. It’s not the same as the others I’ve been with. I really care. It’s why I’m going to be a doctor. I want to help people.”
Yuki didn’t know what to say. He wasn’t sure if anyone in his life ever cared for him before. Still, he couldn’t get Matt involved with his family. They could ruin his reputation. He could lose his internship.
“You’re coming home with me no matter what. I won’t take no for an answer.” Matt took the towel off of Yuki’s arm. “The bleeding stopped. So you should be okay. I’ll bandage it when we get to my place. Let’s pack your clothes and get out of here.”
Yuki nodded and got up out of Matt’s lap. “I can’t pay you for rent or anything.”
Matt got up and smiled. “Don’t worry. I have more than enough money to take care of you and me.”
Yuki quickly packed his clothes. “What about my furniture?”
“No offence, but your stuff is crap.” Matt smiled at Yuki and put a arm around his shoulder. “Let’s get out of here. I’ll get you settled at my place and make you a nice home cooked meal.”
Yuki smiled back and Matt and headed out the door. He turned and gave his apartment one last look before he left it for good.
Matt and Yuki drove the twenty-five minutes in silence. Yuki was trying to figure out how a intern could own a Jaguar XK convertible. Those things were over eighty-one grand. It would be impossible for Matt to buy one of those.
And what was Yuki thinking going home with Matt? It was nuts. Matt was probably going to try and rape him in his sleep. Although being harassed by his parents wasn't much better. He liked Matt more than his parents.
Matt pulled his blue convertible up to a small; red brick, farm house. There were no houses for miles; just trees. Yuki thought the woods must look beautiful in the summer and fall. Right now there were no leaves on the trees. In a few weeks the branches would erupt with life. Winter and early spring always seemed depressing to Yuki. There was no color.
Matt led Yuki into the house. It was a cute place. Not to small and not to big. Matt showed Yuki around the house. The first floor was nothing but a living room. dining room and the kitchen. Matt told Yuki he only used the dining room when his family came to visit.
Next Matt took Yuki upstairs. There were only two doors up there. Matt stopped in front of the door on the left.
"This will be your room. You even have your own bathroom. And the door has a lock on it. You can lock me out if you don't feel comfortable with me sleeping across the hall.” Matt smiled a little. “We better get cleaned up. Both of us are covered in blood. I’ll meet you in the kitchen and I’ll dress your wounds.”
Yuki looked at Matt’s white dress shirt. It was stained with blood. His blood. “I-I’m sorry for ruining your shirt.”
“No big deal. I’ve got plenty of shirts.” Matt ruffled Yuki’s hair. “Did I tell you I like your hair color. You look cute.”
Yuki blushed and walked into his new bedroom. He sat his suitcase on the bed. The room was nice. There was a big cedar dresser and a mirror along one wall. The other wall was nothing but windows looking out into the woods. It was a beautiful view.
Yuki ran his had across the light blue sheets. They were soft under his fingers. Yuki heard Matt going down the stairs and figured he better get changed quickly. He opened his suitcase and changed into a pair of baggy gray sweat pants and a dark blue tee shirt.
Yuki walked down the stairs and went into the kitchen. Matt was waiting for him with the first-aid kit. Yuki sat down at the table. Matt walked over to him with a bandage.
Without saying a word Matt took off the bandages from Yuki’s wrists and put on clean dressings. Then he went to wrapping Yuki’s left arm. “I have just one rule if you are going to stay in my house. And that rule is no more cutting. If something is bothering you talk to me about it. Don’t hurt yourself. You can call me even if I’m at work. I’ll drop what I’m doing.”
Yuki nodded. “Okay...”
“I’ll be disappointed if you don’t talk to me. Don’t let me down.” Matt looked into Yuki’s eyes.
Yuki threw himself into Matt’s arms and hugged him tightly. “Thank you for everything. I don’t know where I’d be without you.”
Matt hugged Yuki back and smiled. “You’re welcome.” Matt gently pushed Yuki away. “I’m going to start dinner. Sit back down and relax.”
Yuki sat at the table as Matt went to preparing dinner. He turned to get something from the refrigerator and bumped into Yuki. “Weren’t you just sitting over there?” Matt pointed to the table across the room.”
Yuki nodded. “What are you making? Can I help?”
“Sushi and no. Go sit back down.” Matt pushed Yuki out of the way and opened the door to the fridge.
“I love Sushi.” Yuki smiled. “You sure you don’t want my help?”
“I’m sure.” Matt pulled a package of fish out of the fridge and walked back over to the counter. He started cutting up the fish. Yuki was standing behind him watching over Matt’s shoulder. “You’re making me paranoid.” Matt turned and looked at Yuki.
“Sorry... I just wanted to watch. I’ll go sit down...” Yuki started to walk away when he felt Matt’s hands on his hips. Matt sat Yuki down on the counter.
“There, you can watch what I’m doing and not get in my way.” Matt smiled and went back to making the sushi.
“Every time I have sushi I think back to my trip to Japan. Have you ever been there?”
“I wish. I’ve never left the country. When did you go there?” Matt looked up at Yuki.
“After my high school graduation. I wanted to travel. I was going to go to a few different countries, but I got distracted. I was there for three months. Those were the best three months of my life.” Yuki smiled a little. “Sometimes I wish I never came home... But I don’t want to talk about that right now.”
Matt smiled at Yuki. "So, what is Japan like?"
Yuki went on and on about his trip to Japan while Matt prepared the food. Matt was surprised Yuki was talking that much. The guy was talking at least 15 minutes now non-stop.
"So, why Japan? Did you see any hot J-rock singers?" Matt smirked.
"I wanted to meet my mothers family. I wrote them a letter and they were more than happy to let me stay with them. They were nice people. And, yes. I saw L'Arc~en~Ciel in concert." Yuki heard Matt gasp.
"Oh my god! No way! L'Arc! You lucky bastard. I would kill to see them. Hyde is so beautiful!" Matt dropped the knife he was holding.
"Now, now. Don't drool on the sushi." Yuki laughed.
Matt couldn’t help but smile more. His little blonde friend was laughing. It was music to his ears. “Well, dinner is ready.” Matt picked up the plate of sushi and walked over to the kitchen table. Yuki hopped off of the counter and followed.
“I’m sorry. I talked so much. I was just babbling on and on.” Yuki said sitting down at the table.
Matt sat down and helped himself to the sushi. "I don't mind at all. Talk all you want. Especially about Hyde."
They spent dinner talking about the L’Arc ~En~Ciel concert. Yuki was glad he finally found someone who loved Japan as much as he did. None of his other friends cared. They would stand there and let him ramble, but he knew they didn’t really pay attention to a word he said. Here he was having an actual conversation about his favorite bad. He was liking Matt more and more.
Yuki yawned and stood up. “I think I’m going to turn in. I’m exhausted.”
Matt said good night to the small blonde and then went up to his own room for the night.
Yuki lay in bed. It was midnight now. He couldn’t get to sleep. He tried for hours. He was exhausted, but sleep wouldn’t come. Yuki didn’t want to admit it to himself, but he missed sleeping next to Matt. He missed the warmth that Matt provided.
He sighed and got out of bed. He tip-toed across the hall to Matt’s bedroom. He put his ear up to the door. Yuki didn’t want to bother Matt if he was already asleep. He didn’t hear any noises coming from Matt’s room. He started to walk back to his room.
“Are you going to stand out there all night, or are you going to come in?” Yuki heard Matt’s muffled voice coming from the other side of the door.
Yuki opened the door and went into Matt’s room. Matt’s room was identical to Yuki’s. Except Matt’s windows looked out over a small pond.
Yuki stopped just inside the door. “I hope I didn’t wake you.”
Matt put down the book he was reading. “Nah, not at all. I was just doing some reading. What’s up?”
“I-I can’t sleep.” Yuki blushed. He didn’t want to tell Matt that he needed to be close to him.
“Get in.” Matt moved to the right side of the bed so Yuki had room.
Yuki walked over to the bed. He saw something shiny sticking out from under the bed. He picked the object up off the floor. He gasped when he realized they were handcuffs.
Matt blushed and pulled them out of Yuki’s hand. “Those were my ex-boyfriends. He liked to be tied up.” He quickly hid them in the night stand next to the bed.
Yuki crawled into bed and rested his head on Matt’s shoulder. Matt smiled at him and then went back to reading his book.
“What are ya reading?” Yuki looked at the book and saw blood; lots of blood. He quickly looked away.
“It’s on open heart surgery.” Matt smirked at Yuki.
“How can you read that before bed? I’d have nightmares.” Yuki buried his face in the crook of Matt’s neck.
“I’m going to be a doctor. Blood and guts never grossed me out.” Matt could feel Yuki’s warm breath on his neck. He forced himself to concentrate on the book and not the blonde laying next to him. He felt Yuki’s arm wrap around his waist. Matt looked down. Yuki was asleep with a small smile on his face.
Matt whispered, “You have got to stop doing this to me. I don’t know how long I can resist.”
Yuki mumbled a, “huh” at Matt. Matt ignored him and turned out the light.
Yuki woke to an annoying ringing noise. He growled. Why wouldn’t the noise stop? How dare it disturb his sleep. He felt Matt move and the ringing stopped.
Matt started talking to the person on the other end, “Hello? No, I’m awake. What, Easter dinner here? That’s on Sunday... Yeah, fine. Whatever. Bye.” Matt hung up the phone and got out of bed.
“So, that was my uncle. He wants to have Easter dinner here. He’s bringing my bratty cousin with him.” Matt sighed.
Yuki looked up at Matt. “Do you want me to disappear when they get here? I can find somewhere to go.”
“Don’t worry about it. You’ll just have to help me out. And don’t take offence to anything my uncle or cousin says to you. Just ignore them.” Matt walked over to his closet and started to pick out clothes.
“You’re not coming back to bed?” Yuki frowned. He was tired and he wanted to cuddle. Wait, what was he thinking? Why does he want Matt back in bed so bad? What is wrong with him?
“I have to get ready for work. I also have to buy everything for Sunday. How could he call me two days before Easter to say he’s coming? That man drives me nuts.” Matt started to strip down to his underwear. He saw Yuki quickly cover his face with a pillow. “I hate to ask you, but could you maybe clean up the living room a bit? There is a vacuum in the closet down stairs.”
“Sure, I don’t mind.” Was Yuki’s muffled response.
Matt looked at his clock. “Fuck! I’m late again!” He quickly threw on his clothes and ran out the door.
Yuki stood in bed for awhile after that. He was fighting with his emotions. Was he falling for Matt? That was impossible. Matt was a man. He can’t have a relationship with another man. It’s wrong. At least he thought it was wrong. He was told all his life it was wrong. But then why did it feel so right to be curled up in bed with Matt?
Maybe that is what Matt wanted. Maybe Yuki was just another accomplishment for Matt. He knew Matt was a player. He freely admitted it to Yuki in the hospital that night. Matt was just trying to get Yuki to fuck him and then Matt would move on to some other innocent man or woman.
He wasn’t going to let that happen. No matter what. He would just have to keep Matt at a distance. Yuki got out of bed and went to take a shower.
Matt came home around six that evening. He was carrying a huge ham and a big bag of potatoes. Yuki helped Matt carry everything into the kitchen.
“It’s nuts out at the stores! Ladies were ready to beat each other up over a ham. Holidays bring out the worst in people.” Matt stuck the ham in the refrigerator. “I really appreciate you cleaning up for me.”
“No problem.” Yuki refused to look Matt in the face. “I think I’m going to go up to bed.”
Matt frowned. “What about dinner?”
“I already ate...” Yuki started to walk away.
“What’s wrong?” Matt was worried. What happened to the Yuki from yesterday?
“Nothing. I just need to rest. My arms are hurting me.”
Matt grabbed Yuki by the waist. “Let me take a look.”
Yuki tried to wriggle himself free. “I’m fine. I just want to go to bed!”
Matt drug a struggling Yuki over to the couch. He sat down and pulled Yuki on top of him. He kept one arm wrapped around Yuki so he couldn’t get away. “If it hurts I want to see.” Matt knew there was nothing wrong with Yuki’s arms. He wanted to get the blond to say what was wrong.
Matt unwrapped the bandages with his free hand. “Everything looks fine to me.”
Yuki stopped struggling. “Well, that’s good. I’m just going to go then.”
Matt let go of Yuki’s waist. He started to massage the smaller mans back. “What’s wrong? You are so tense.”
Yuki moaned. He could feel all his muscles relaxing. He forgot all about keeping his distance from Matt.
Matt smirked. He stopped his massage and he slowly ran a hand under Yuki’s shirt. He started kissing and nipping at Yuki’s neck. Matt slowly slipped his hand down Yuki’s pants.
Yuki snapped out of his daze and realized what Matt was trying to do. He tried to quickly stand up. Matt’s strong arms were holding him tightly.
“Let me go!” Yuki yelled at Matt. He continued to struggle.
“Shhh. Calm down. It will feel good. I promise.” Matt whispered in Yuki’s ear.
Yuki could feel tears running down his cheeks. Why did he let Matt get this close to him? He knew something like this would happen. “P-please stop.”
Matt saw the tears pouring down Yuki’s cheeks. He let go of the thin man. Yuki quickly stood up and ran towards the stairs.
Matt ran after him. “Yuki, I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me. I couldn’t help myself.”
Yuki made it to his bedroom. He slammed the door in Matt’s face. Matt tried to open the door, but it was locked. “Yuki, please. I really am sorry.”
Matt was angry with himself. He moved too fast. He ruined his friendship with Yuki. Matt could hear sobbing coming from the other side of the door. He was the cause of those tears. It hurt him to know that Yuki was crying because of him. What if Yuki hurt himself? He couldn’t just leave him alone in the room.
Matt quickly ran back downstairs. He knew he stuck the key to the bedroom in his junk drawer. He opened the drawer and started rummaging around. Matt found the key and headed up the stairs.
He unlocked the door. Yuki was laying on the floor curled up in a ball. Matt felt tears stinging his eyes. “Yuki?” He knelt down next to Yuki.
Yuki rolled over to look at him. “I-I’m so confused.”
“About what?” Matt reached out to wipe a tear off of Yuki’s cheek but the blonde pulled away from him.”
“I’m not s-supposed to like men. It’s wrong.”
“It’s not wrong. If you have feelings for someone you should show it. It doesn’t matter if they are male or female. As long as it makes you happy.” Matt lay down next to Yuki and pulled Yuki to his chest.
“I-I think I have feelings for you. But, I don’t want to.” Yuki wrapped his arms around Matt.
“Why? Why don’t you want to like me?” Matt was a bit hurt. He liked Yuki so much.
“Because, I’m just someone else for you to use for your personal pleasure. You’ll just dump me after we have sex.”
Matt ran his hand through Yuki’s hair. “I do usually dump someone after sex. I promise. It’s different with you. I want more than sex. I want love. I want to be with you and only you. I’ll understand if you say no to me. Hell, I’d probably say no to me.”
Yuki looked up at Matt. He wiped a tear away from Matt’s cheek. “Yes.” He saw the shocked look on Matt’s face. “I want to be with you.”
Yuki gently pressed his lips to Matt’s and quickly pulled away. He felt his face turn bright red. Yuki buried his face in Matt’s chest.
“You are so cute!” Matt giggled and hugged Yuki tightly. “Don’t be afraid to kiss me. I’ll never push you away.”
Matt ran around the kitchen holding a ham in his arms. Yuki was sitting on the counter top peeling potatoes.
"You really need to calm down. You're not going to get anything accomplished running around like that." Yuki said not looking up from his potatoes.
"I don't know how to cook this ham!" Matt sat the ham down on the counter next to Yuki. "What do I do?"
Yuki mumbled, "You know how to make sushi, but you can't make a ham?"
"What did you say? This is no time to be a jerk! Help me!" Matt resting his head on Yuki's lap.
"Did you try reading the directions?" Yuki continued with his potatoes.
"Oh, yeah. Thanks!" Matt smiled at Yuki and gave him a quick kiss on his forehead. Yuki rolled his eyes.
Things were hectic yesterday. Matt was so paranoid about his uncle coming. He spent most of the day running around the house making sure things were perfect. Yuki kept trying to get Matt to relax, but he wouldn’t. Yuki tried to help out the best he could, but he always seemed to be in the way. He wasn’t sure he wanted to meet Matt’s uncle. This should be an interesting day.
They got the ham in the oven and the potatoes on the stove. That was all Matt bought at the store and there was nothing else they could make. Yuki yelled at Matt the day before because he didn't pick up any vegetables or at least rolls. Matt had refused to go back to the store. He didn’t want to be involved in any fights over food.
“Why don’t you go get dressed. My uncle will be here any minute now.” Matt said watching the potatoes boil. “Oh, I bought you a suit the other day. My uncle likes people to look proper.”
“A suit?” Yuki sighed. “I hate wearing suits. I don’t look right.”
“I’m sure you’ll look sexy.” Matt turned his attention away from the potatoes. He wrapped his arms around Yuki’s waist. “You’ll look good in anything.”
Matt pressed his lips against Yuki’s. Yuki quickly pulled away. “I don’t want your uncle walking in on this.” Before Matt could reply Yuki was out of the kitchen and halfway up the stairs.
Matt turned his attention back to the potatoes. The past two days have been rough. He wanted to spend all his time with Yuki just sitting around and doing nothing. Leave it to his uncle to get in the way. That man could be the biggest bastard on the planet. Matt hoped that he wouldn’t insult Yuki too much. Last time his uncle met Matt’s boyfriend the poor guy sat under the table and cried. Okay, so Matt’s last boyfriend wasn’t the sharpest crayon in the box. But still, his uncle was rude.
Twenty minutes later Yuki came back into the kitchen holding a dark green tie. He held it out to Matt. “I can’t get that damn thing on! I refuse to wear it.” Yuki glared at the tie.
Matt looked Yuki over. He looked good in a suit. It wasn’t anything fancy black pants and coat with a white dress shirt. The green tie matched Yuki’s eyes perfectly.
Matt took the tie from the fuming blond. He quickly tied the tie. “There. You look cute.” Yuki continued to glare.
“I don’t. I feel like a loser.”
Matt hugged Yuki. “You are not a loser. Now finish the potatoes. I have no idea how to mash potatoes. And I’ve got to get dressed.” He gave Yuki a quick kiss on his forehead before heading off to get dressed.
Yuki finished up the potatoes right as Matt came back down the stairs. He was wearing a white shirt with a blue tie. Yuki growled at him.
“Why do I have to wear a jacket and you don’t. It’s not fair.”
“Because, I don’t have to impress my uncle.” Matt said checking on his ham.
“I don’t want to impress your uncle. I don’t care.” Yuki rested his head on Matt’s chest and pouted.
“You say that now. He’s a tough man to deal with.” The door bell rang. “That’s them. Remember, don’t take offence to anything he says to you.” Matt said walking towards the front door. Yuki followed.
Matt opened the front door. “Uncle Daniel it’s so nice to see you again. And wow, Amy, you’ve grown so tall.” Daniel pushed past Matt and into the house. Amy followed. Both of them stopped when they saw Yuki standing there. Two sets of brown eyes narrowed at the sight of him.
Daniel rubbed his bald head and looked at Yuki. “Matt, is this your new slut?”
“He’s totally a slut.” Amy said pushing her black hair behind her shoulder.
Yuki stood there shocked. They didn’t even know him and they were calling him a slut. He really didn’t expect to hear it from a little girl. He looked like she was about twelve years old.
Matt stood next to Yuki. “His name is Yuki. He’s not a slut.”
“No doubt just using you for all that money you have.” Daniel glared at Yuki.
“What happened to your last boyfriend? You know. The blue haired freak who hid under the table and sobbed?” Amy said giggling.
“We broke up. And Yuki isn’t using me for my money. He doesn’t even know about it.” Matt sighed. This was going to be a long day.
“Sure he doesn’t. Come on Amy. Let’s go sit down at the table and wait for the food.” Daniel and Amy walked into the kitchen.
Once they were out of ear shot Yuki growled, “I am not a slut. I’m going to murder them.”
Matt pulled Yuki into his arms. “Calm down. That’s what he wants. He wants you to get upset. He wants you to leave. He thinks every one I date is using me for money.”
Yuki looked up into Matt’s blue eyes. “Are you rich?”
“You’re totally oblivious. How do you think a intern could afford a house, a Jag, and all those clothes? My father left me his business when he died. My uncle runs it, but I‘m the owner so I get a lot of money.” Matt chuckled at Yuki.
“I had no idea.” Yuki blushed. He was so dumb.
“I like to keep it that way. There are lots of people out there who will just take advantage.” Matt ran a hand through his dark hair.
“So, do you think Matt and his slut are going to join us or should we just eat alone?” Daniel said loudly from the other room.
Dinner was a stressful event. Daniel did nothing but complain. Once they were finished eating he turned his attention to Yuki.
“So do you go to college?” Daniel said narrowing his eyes at Yuki.
Yuki was afraid to answer. He didn’t want Daniel to talk. He just wanted the bald man to go away. “No, I don’t.”
“Well, then, you must have a job.” Daniel crossed his arms.
“No... I-” Yuki started to talk but Dan interrupted him.
“You don’t have a job. Do you expect my nephew to take care of you?”
“No! I just lost my job. I want to get another. I don’t want Matt to spend any money on me.” Yuki was getting angry. He wanted to punch the man sitting across from him.
“Uncle Dan. Leave him alone.” Matt glared at his uncle.
“I didn’t come here to pick on your little slut.” Daniel turned his attention to Matt.
“It sure seems like it.” Matt said through gritted teeth.
“I came to tell you I’m retiring. It’s time for you to take over the business.”
“I’ve told you. I am going to be a doctor. I want to save lives. Fine someone to replace you. I’m not going to.” Matt picked up his fork and began to stab a piece of ham.
“It’s what your father would of wanted, boy!” Daniel stood up and slammed his hands on the table. Yuki gasped. No one paid any attention to him.
“No, he would of wanted me to be happy! Don’t tell me what my father wanted! You don’t know!” Matt yelled at his uncle.
Hiding under the table and crying seemed like a good idea to Yuki. Matt was furious. Yuki didn’t take Matt for a man who would yell. He seemed so laid back and relaxed. It was scary to see Matt that angry.
Daniel sighed. “I’m sorry. You’re right. I have no right to tell you what to do. I will look for someone to replace me.” He turned to his daughter. “Let’s go Amy.”
Amy stood up and followed her father out the door. Matt sat back down and rested his head on the table.
Yuki didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know what he should say to Matt. He never knew what to do in stressful situations. He placed a trembling hand on Matt’s back. “You okay?”
What a dumb thing for him to say. Of course Matt wasn’t okay. He just got in a fight with his uncle.
Matt stood up. He pulled Yuki out of the chair and forcefully kissed Yuki.
Yuki tried to pull away but Matt put his hand behind Yuki’s head. Yuki kept pulling away from Matt because he never kissed anyone before. He was almost positive he was bad at it. He didn’t want to disappoint Matt.
Matt nibbled on Yuki’s lip before he pulled away. “Why do you always pull away from me?”
Yuki blushed. “I-I’m not a good kisser.”
“You are a great kisser. Don’t doubt yourself.” Matt leaned down and kissed Yuki again. Matt opened his mouth slightly to allow Yuki to slip his tongue into it. Their tongues danced. Matt moaned into Yuki's mouth.
Yuki shoved Matt away from him. "I'm going to clean up!" Yuki started running around the kitchen throwing dishes in the sink and putting the leftovers away.
Matt was to tired to stop Yuki. He went up to bed and fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. Yuki didn't sleep in Matt's room that night. Matt didn't even realize it.
