Not So High
Not So High
Is nothing too good or nothing too wrong
that I can't write a poem, can't write a new song?
I'm not so high that I cannot fall
But if I do, would I notice at all?
Not falling in love, not embroiled in hate
not taking any chances, not alluding fate.
I'm not so high that I cannot fall
But if I do, would I notice at all?
Why do I write when I have nothing to say?
Why can't I sleep at night when I'm tired all day?
I'm not so high that I cannot fall
But if I do, would you notice at all?
Too tired to love, too tired to fight
Nothings so wrong, but not much is right
Not too high, not too low,
Not too fast, not too slow
I'm not so high that I cannot fall,
But if I do, who would notice at all?
