chapter four
“Open the door Sam I know you’re in there” He said loudly.
“I just want to talk to you” His voice was lower this time.
What now? Don’t panic Thia, he is going to go away now, she calmed herself like a little child who was afraid of the monster under his bad, wishing he would go away.
“Thia I’m not going to leave till you open up”
It was like he read her mind “What do you want from me?” She shouted finding that it’s better to shout than to hide.
“I said I just want to talk to you. That’s all I promise”
Thia thought for a moment, what if he really knows me? I want to know everything about my past, Oh anything.
She slowly opened the door terrified because letting him in when she was all alone wasn’t such a good idea. She was also less cautious at the same time because finally, after two years of not knowing anything about herself she had the chance to learn something from anyone “Just talk?” she asked before stepping back.
Again she told herself this guy is really attractive. With his dark hair away from his face and for the first time she was able to tell what color his eyes really were. It was grey, dark grey the color of the storm in winter. The moment he saw her something gleamed in his eyes but was gone in less than a second that she doubted she saw it. He was wearing a black shirt and dark blue jeans.
Looking at what he was wearing reminded her of what she wasn’t wearing and that she was standing there in front of him with her rob and underneath it was nothing except for her bra and panties.
“Uh- come in” she stepped back a little still not sure whether it was right letting him in.
He walked pass her and she pointed at the living room “You can sit there and I’ll be right back”
She ran back quickly to her bed room, opened her closet and grabbed the first thing she saw.
“Okay just take a deep breath” She ordered herself as she stood in the hallway and then she entered the living room to find him standing near the fir place that had some picture on top of it.
“You changed a lot you know. Lost some weight” He put back the picture he was holding; it was a picture of her and Ann last summer.
He looked around him in the room “This looks good, but how can you afford to live in place like this?” he said pointing at whole room. It was a beautiful room and Thia knew that, with a big fire place and almost everything in the room was white; the couch, the chairs, and the curtains. The only different color was of the wood of the coffee table placed in the middle of the room and the beautiful frames of the windows. It was really a beautiful room.
“Mr. Wilson” It was hard for her to call him that.
“You never said Mr. Wilson before, do you remember? Even when we first met” He said and something that might have been sorrow crossed his face.
“Listen to me Mr. Wilson. I don’t remember anything about you. I don’t know who you are and I sure don’t remember when we first met” She looked down at the floor trying not to look at him because God help her, she was really attracted to him.
“You don’t remember?” He raised an eyebrow in sarcastic way.
“Yes” she looked up and he was few inches away from her.
“You don’t remember this too” She didn’t have the chance to think about what he said because his lips were on hers’ in less than a second, kissing her passionately that she felt her knees weakened.
Thia was taken back at the beginning but then heat started to take over her whole body when his hands came to her waist rubbing gently. She couldn’t do anything except for kissing him back as passionately as he was kissing her.
He pulled back a little “From what just happened I’m sure you still remember me,” he whispered.
Thia’s face turned into dark red and she couldn’t do anything about it. She freed herself from his arms and stepped back “I- I really don’t remember anything” she whispered back and she felt hot tears burn her eyes.
She blinked more than once trying to make the tears go away “I had an accident,” It was never easy for her talking about her accident.
“Accident?” His expression changed completely.
“Yes, I had an accident 2 years ago and…” A tear escaped and fell across her face “That’s why I don’t remember anything. They told me I was hit by car on the high way and was found by the police the next day.” She wiped the tears and looked up at him “They say I’m lucky to be alive. But waking up in the hospital with no memory doesn’t make me lucky right? Not knowing who you are, where you from. They call that lucky??” she laughed ironically.
Shane couldn’t believe what she was telling him.
He looked at her face, the face he once fell head over hills in love with. She still looked as beautiful as she always has. With her black hair, it used to be long but now it was short, part of it covering her forehead.
He used to adore touching her silky dark hair. He couldn’t stop the question “You cut your hair” he stated
He could feel her sight then say “They had to shave it because I had this big cut in my head.”
Shane stood there looking at the only woman he ever loved “So you had an accident and lost your memory?” he asked not quite sure whether to believe that or not.
“I wouldn’t lie about that, would I?” She said her words looking directly into her eyes and he could see pain in them. At that exact moment he wished he could take her in his arms and ease her pain.
But no. Don’t let her fool you again. She did the unforgivable, running away from you Shane....Right after our wedding, Shane thought sadly.

Thank you for reviewing :) plzz keep telling me what you think.
Dear anon,
I don't know why you thought Thia was mean. She was just scared and she wasn't rude to Dana. If she might have ordered her in sort of a bad way that's because she was nervous not because she was a bad person.
About the story itself, I know there were alot of unclear things but you will understand everything in the right time.
