No more running! The truth comes out.
Act 4: No more running! The truth comes out.
Deep in the rainy mountains a figure in a black hooded cape walked along the soaked dirt path. They sighed to themselves and looked up. “Where did he go I wonder? I have to at least try to find him.” The figure said and went on.
Meanwhile miles away, Altair had reached another town (Old Japanese theme like.) With his last two encounters in the last two towns he had been in, this time he settled in an even smaller town with even less life in it. There was really nothing to really do but at least he won’t run into any more crazy people. He removed his long damp cape and hung it up. In fact all his clothes were wet from walking the last few miles in the rain. Well this place did have a nice hot spring to privately bathe and do whatever out back. He’d have to do that soon and try to relax during this crazy trip. “Maybe relaxing in a bath will clear my head.”
Back at the entrance to the town, the figure in the hooded cape entered and looked around. He’s here. The figure thought to themselves. He really must’ve wanted to be alone if he came this far out. The figure went on and into the hotel. After they checked in and went to their room, they removed their cape. It was a young man about 19 with long sky blue hair with violet streaks blue that went down almost to their knees and deep purple eyes. They sighed and sat down in a chair. “He has to be in this hotel somewhere…I don’t know why he…” He sighed once again and slumped down in their chair.
Altair walked outside and headed to the hotspring building. He hung up his clothes and was wearing a bathrobe. He knew he would be getting a private place because he paid to have one alone. When he got to it he removed his robe and slowly went into the water. He got used to the hot water and sank down into it sighing. “This is exactly what I needed. No one around to bother me and…”He turned his head to a table. “Free drinks. What else could I need? I might just want to stay here.” He gave a smug smile but then his expression became a little sad and he looked up.
“Well, well.” Came a voice. Altair jumped and looked around. Kujaku leaned against the wall eating an apple. He took a bite out of it. “Don’t tell me you’re thinking of leaving them behind. Leaving your friend.”
Altair sank down into the water. “How long have you been there this time?”
“Just got here.” He took another bit from the apple. Altair turned away from him red with anger and embarrassment. I can’t believe this jerk! How long does he intend to follow me around? He thought.
“Until you stop running away.” Kujaku answered. Altair paused and turned back towards him. “Oh, great. Now you’re a mind reader.”
Kujaku gave a mischievous smile. Altair ignored him and looked around for his bathrobe or a towel. “Maybe you should talk to him here.”
“What are you talking about?” Altair asked while he wrapped a towel around his waist.
“Oh, that’s right you don’t know.” Kujaku turned and smiled then ate more of his apple. Altair stared at him. “Nani?”
“Nothing.” Kujaku said innocently.
Altair became furious and grabbed him by his collar. “Look you! I am getting sick and tired of you playing lurker and making guess what the hell is going on!! Now, you can either tell me what you know or I can—”
“Tasogare is here. In this town. In this very same hotel.” Kujaku said calmly. Altair froze and let him go. “Hmm. Why so surprised? You should’ve known that he’d come look for you. No matter what your reason was.” He smiled then took his leave out of the hotspring. “Well, good luck.”
Altair stood still frozen. He came here? Great. I can’t face him the way I am right now. What if I…No I have self control. If I see him and he asks me what happened then I’d just…I’ll…think of something to tell him.
He put on his bathrobe and left his semi-wet hair hang down as he left for his room. He held his head down and slowly walked down the hall. Well, he is my friend so I guess he would come looking for me. I guess the first thing he’ll ask me is why I left…and he’ll know if I lie. He was about to go back inside the hotel but at that moment, Tasogare was leaving his room and walking down the hall. The two reached the door at the same time.
The door slide open. Altair and Tasogare saw one another and froze in their tracks. Both stared at each other. Altair’s eyes widen and he couldn’t speak.
“Altair.” Tasogare said breaking the silence. “Where have you been?”
Altair looked down. “Well…I…”
“Why did you leave without telling us?”
“Uh…” Altair still didn’t look at him. What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I look at him?
Tasogare started to walk towards him. “Altair, are you sure you’re ok?”
“Uh, Tasogare.” He looked up to see him only a few feet away from him. “…Uh, I’m sorry but I have to uh, bye!” He said and ran off.
“Altair.” Tasogare sighed. “What is wrong with him? He’s acting stranger than usual.”
“Well, he didn’t make it as bad as I thought he would.” Kujaku sat on the porch in a kimono drinking tea; obviously watching what had been going on.
A sweatdrop went down the back of Tasogare’s head. “Kujaku-san, what are you doing here?”
Kujaku finished taking a sip of his tea. “I am on vacation. Just admiring the beautiful night sky.”
“…You’re lying.”
“Well, not the part about watching the sky that is.” He took another sip. Tasogare just looked at him. “You could say I was watching either a disaster unfolding or something that will turn out very good in the end.”
“…That really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but I better go see if Altair has gone insane or whatever.” He started to walk off.
“If Altair is afraid to face and tell the truth, I wonder how would you react if you found out.” Kujaku said seriously.
“Nani?” Tasogare turned toward him.
“Oh, this tea is excellent to drink when moonwatching. I’ll have to know the brand.” Kujaku said cheerfully.
“Oh-Kay, you enjoy that.” He quickly leaves.
Kujaku took another sip on his tea and smiled. “Now things will get interesting.”
Altair really didn’t know where to go. The town was really small and Tasogare would be at the hotel. So he ran to the back of the hotspring house. He sat down on the steps leading up to the back. He sighed and held his head down.
“What happened to me back there? I thought I was finally ready to go back and face him…” He put his hand on his chest. “Face this obsession I claim I don’t have.” He stared down at the ground. His eyes became determined and he clenched his teeth. He stood up. “That’s it! I’m tired of running and not facing the truth, no, my truth!”
Tasogare came to the front of the building. He looked around for Altair. “I lost track of him…?” He turned around to see Altair come out from around the corner and walk toward him. “Altair?”
Altair smiled and put his hand behind his head. “Hey, whatsup?”
“…You look like you’re back to normal. What—”
“How about we go back to the hotel and talk? It’ll be a lot more comfortable there and maybe I can get dressed.” Altair said still smiling.
“Well, you might be right.” He sighed “Lets go.”
They went back to the hotel. Kujaku was gone so it was safe to go in though the back door. Since it was closer they went into Tasogare’s room.
“Oh, that’s right. You wanted to get dressed.” Tasogare said turning to Altair.
“Oh, that’s ok. My room is all the way on the other side. And…you really want to talk to me and I really want to talk to you right?”
“I guess, but what do you want to talk to me about?”
Altair nervously smiled. “Oh, heh, you’ll see.” Tasogare shrugged and went inside. Altair sighed and followed.
Tasogare sat in a chair and Altair sat on the couch. Both were silent at first. Altair was about to speak but once again Tasogare beat him to it.
“So why did you leave? Usually you make this big announcement and aren’t usually gone for long.” Altair looked down. Tasogare looked over at him. “So, why?”
“I had some things I needed to think on; confront them.” He said with his eyes closed. “Now, my turn, why did you come looking for me and give me another answer besides me being your friend.”
Tasogare didn’t answer at first but then said “Well, you are my friend and I was worried about you. I didn’t know what happened to you so I wanted to find out.”
“…” Altair looked over at him. Now Tasogare had his head down looking at the floor. “You were really worried about me weren’t you?”
“If that’s what you want to call it. I could’ve cared less but still I traveled all this way just to find out what happened. At first I thought I was the reason you left. That you just got fed up with me and just left. I guess I’m right huh?”
“No. I…I could never get fed up with you Tasogare not for the thousands of years we’ve known each other or even more thousands of years ahead.”
Tasogare turned his head and looked at him. Altair had his head slightly down he continued. “You’re my first and really only friend I ever had. Even though you think that no one could be your friend its kinda impossible not to be your friend with the way you are.” He slightly smiled. “I guess you’re wondering why I ran away from you back there huh?”
“I am a little curious about that.” Tasogare said.
Altair took a deep breath. “I told you earlier about some things I had to confront within me. They were emotions that I had sealed away deep within myself so I could never remember them. The more I ignored it, the worse the pain would get. I was just running away instead of confronting it and working it out.” He paused. Tasogare looked at him. “I left Desengong thinking the problem would go away but I was wrong…The reason I ran is I was running away from my problems again.”
“…What do you mean?” Tasogare asked.
“I left because I didn’t know what was wrong.” He looked back at Tasogare into his eyes. “Now, I do and have to confront it.”
Tasogare didn’t look away. Neither did Altair. He still has those eyes. Altair thought.
Why can’t I…I’m not being forced to stare at him like this but… Tasogare thought. As they continued to stare Altair started to move toward him. Not really knowing what he was doing himself. All he wanted was to gaze into those eyes that shared as much pain as he did. Their faces got closer to where their noses almost touched. Altair’s eyes moved down to Tasogare’s lips. Slowly he moved his face closer to Tasogare’s. Their lips were mere inches apart. Tasogare half way closed his eyes looking down at Altair’s lips. Why am I letting him…I can’t control it myself.
“Now,” Altair said softly closing his eyes. “You know how I feel.”
Tasogare’s eyes slightly widen. Altair moved his lips onto Tasogare’s and gently kissed him. Tasogare closed his eyes and slowly gave into it. Altair placed one hand on the side of Tasogare’s face. Tasogare clutched onto Altair’s robe.
Altair moved down and kissed Tasogare’s neck. Tasogare began to shudder and gave a soft moan. Altair continued to kiss Tasogare’s neck moving down and nipping at his skin here and there. Altair stopped and looked back up into Tasogare’s eyes.
“Do you always have to wear so much clothing?” Altair asked softly.
Tasogare smiled and shrugged. Altair started to unbutton Tasogare’s shirt exposing his chest. He leaned back down and began to kiss his chest. Tasogare reached over and grabbed Altair’s hair. It was soft, softer than what he thought it would be. He made his way up to Altair’s scalp and began massaging it. For fun he slightly scratched Altair’s ear. Altair gave a slight moan and began to kiss harder and use his tongue to Tasogare’s chest. Tasogare gasped and arched his back up giving into more and more to Altair’s kisses.
Altair found it amusing to tease his little angel like this. So he continued down until he got to Tasogare’s jeans. Slowly he started to undo them. Tasogare looked down at Alatair. Altair leaned up and again kissed Tasogare. It was a deep, passionate kiss that seemed like a battle of who would win control.
Altair moved his kiss onto Tasogare’s soft shoulders and removed the rest of his shirt. Then he slowly began to remove Tasogare’s jeans and tossed them aside. He looked down at his angel and smiled.
“Hey, that’s not fair Altair.” Tasogare said childishly. “You still have pretty much all your clothes on.”
“Oh, does it bother you?” Altair said coolly.
“As a matter of fact,” Tasogare said slowly leaning up. “It does.”
Before he could react Tasogare pinned Altair down into the floor. He had his legs on either side of him and pinned his arms up above him. Altair looked at him in confusion.
“What? Did you think you were going to be the dominant one in this game?” Tasogare asked.
Altair was about to speak up but was stopped by Tasogare leaning down and kissing his neck. He felt Tasogare’s fangs nip gently on his collarbone.
“Hey…No bit—” Altair said but gasped when Tasogare slowly began to bite his collarbone. Altair arched his back up and put his arms around Tasogare’s neck. Mm…He smells so nice. And this doesn’t hurt that bad. Altair thought. He moaned as he felt Tasogare go a little deeper and then used his tongue to lick the wound clean. As he did he slid his arms underneath Altair and held his body against him.
He leaned back up and smiled at the sight of Altair looking a little over taken by his move.
“Hmm, tired already little Altair?” Tasogare asked removing some sweat soaked strands of hair from Altair’s face. Altair then noticed that almost all his clothing had been removed except for covering the most important areas. He turned slightly red but tried his best not to. “Well, if you want,” Tasogare continued. “We could stop and just go to sleep.”
“Hmph. I’m just getting started. And who you calling little, shorty?” Altair said pulling Tasogare back down over him.
Both their hands explored each other’s body. Doing things that lead to soft moans and groans from both. Altair flipped Tasogare over on his back and he smiled as he looked down at his angel that would soon truly be his. Altair stroked Tasogare’s face with the back of his hand. Tasogare turned his head and put his mouth against Altair’s hand. Then his breath drew in sharply as he felt one of Altair’s fingers enter him.
“Hey, what are you--?” Tasogare started but was cut off by Altair introducing another finger into him.
“It won’t as bad if I do this first. I’m sure neither of us want to go through any more intense pain…or do we?” Altair smirked and kissed Tasogare’s neck and chest. Tasogare’s breaths became a little faster as he gave in to the seduction of his love. He began to gasp and pant as he suddenly felt waves of pleasure go through his body. His blood burned as if fire flowed through his veins. He wanted more of this.
Altair loved teasing him, teasing the sweet part inside his lover’s body. He liked this feeling. For once he was the dominant one and Tasogare would give in to anything he did to him. Altair took caution though. Although it was tempting to torture his angel like that and maybe make him go insane with pleasure, he stopped and with drew his fingers out of Tasogare.
Tasogare whined with protest when Altair did this and looked at him childishly. Altair learned to ignore this because Tasogare would probably like the next thing he did to him even more.
Altair positioned himself between Tasogare’s legs. “Don’t worry.” Altair said softly. “This will only hurt for a brief second. Don’t get tense and lock up on me or else it’ll hurt. Just relax.” Tasogare nodded his head still looking into Altair’s eyes.
Slowly Altair began to move in trying to spare what pain he could from Tasogare. Also trying his best not to rush and take him completely. Tasogare became a little impatient and fed up with Altair’s teasing, so after a while he wrapped his legs around Altair’s waist trying to make go in deeper and faster. Altair placed his hands on Tasogare’s hips forcing him to keep up with the slow pace.
“Ugh! Stop teasing me…please Altair.” Tasogare groaned.
Altair smirked again. Was Tasogare begging? He knew he couldn’t keep his angel waiting so with one deep thrust he went completely inside him. He hoped to have been gentle with him and that his impact hadn’t hurt Tasogare too much.
He waited for the signs of pain and discomfort to leave his lover’s face. When Tasogare became relaxed, Altair slowly began to thrust forward moving in ever so deeper. Tasogare began to get into the same rhythm with Altair’s. Both starting to pant and moan with pleasure so Altair moved a in a little more faster pace. When Altair hit Tasogare’s sweet spot he felt the muscles tighten for just an instant around him. This made Altair almost go over the edge.
Tasogare felt a tight ball of lust forming in his lower body, certain it was going to kill him if it got any stronger. He felt Altair slowly move his hand down to grab his erection and stroking it with his thrusts. Tasogare, caught up in the pleasure of it all, let out a cry and released himself onto his and Altair’s stomachs. Altair soon followed releasing his seed into his lover’s body. He stayed above Tasogare, shaking and exhausted. Tasogare’s breaths slowed and he sighed.
Altair slowly withdrew out of Tasogare and laid to one side. Tasogare happily snuggled up beside the raven-haired man. Altair placed one arm around Tasogare’s shoulder and the other behind his own head. Both looked at each other still trying to catch their breath.
Tasogare smiled. “Next time…I’m taking the lead.” He said breathlessly.
Altair smiled. “Really? We’ll see.”
He leant down and kissed the angel’s soft lips before sleep took over both of them and they laid still embracing each other.
