“I know what you’re thinking. That I’m blind; that I can’t see her for what she really is.” Wesley had this ever so distant look in his eyes…
“Or perhaps that I was so drunk I deluded myself into believing the ‘rich slag’ really has a heart of gold, and isn’t some sort of cold hearted beast. No. I’m no fool. I know who and what Sunshine really is. I can see through the blue, doe eyes. The milky white skin; the soft, brown locks with streaks honey. The pearly white teeth, the full sensuous lips that draws a man in. Those long, sturdy legs of hers that entices me so. I can see beyond the physical- the… superficial.
I also know that there’s something inside of her that no one can see, except for me. There’s a light inside of her. She glows… There’s this radiance to her, her light. It pulled me in. I know that if I get too close, in one way or another, she’ll burn me. But I find myself not caring. Not at all. Anything feels better than this; this feeling of being cold and hollow. It consumes me. I’d rather much be consumed by her.”
