Enter Kira
Boo. o-o Er, I\'m Kita, and it looks like I\'ll be writing some of this. xD Kira\'s point of view mainly. He\'s based off me and all. So... Yeah. *coughs* Here\'s chapter 4.

After regretfully surrendering the warmth of Toya\'s limo for the icy cold rain, Kira ran across the lawn towards his house, something he tended to do no matter how many times his mother told him that he was going to beat a permanent path through the soft grass. Fumbling with the key, he let himself inside.
Kicking off his shoes, he entered the kitchen to find a note propped up on the table. Picking it up, he glanced over the sprawling writing of his mother.
Went out for a couple hours.
There\'s $10 on the fridge for pizza.
-Mom
He rolled his eyes, though he didn\'t really mind. His parents did this at least a couple times a week, but he liked being home alone and got to order pizza when they were gone, so he wasn\'t about to complain. /I was getting a bit sick of those weird fancy meals she always seems to be cooking lately anyway.../
Picking up the phone and hitting the speed dial number of the nearest pizza place, he ordered his usual meat lover\'s with extra Italian sausage without thinking, then made his way upstairs to change out of his soaking wet clothes, dripping water onto the carpet as he went.
Upon reaching the bathroom, he quickly peeled off the wet uniform that had become plastered onto him like a second skin, leaving all of his clothes where they had landed on the floor and turning on the shower.
He gasped softly as he stepped under the water, the shock of the heat after being so cold making him slightly dizzy for a moment. As he reached for the shampoo, his thoughts wandered back to the unexpected ride he had received. He\'d been pleasantly surprised when the boy he\'d run into the other day - literally - had appeared and offered him a ride, in a limo, no less, especially since he didn\'t even really know him. Most people who\'d known him for years probably would have driven on past without casting a glance his way. He had been even more astonished when Toya had asked him to eat lunch with him and his friends. Nobody really invited him to do anything, and he had been eating his lunch alone, outside beneath the trees, for as long as he could remember.
/Toya.../ His eyes slipping shut, he pictured the boy\'s bright blue eyes looking up at him, his dark blue-ish hair falling slightly into his eyes. He couldn\'t stop thinking about those eyes... There was something in the way Toya looked at him that he just couldn\'t get out of his head. He had never cared much for the looks people gave him. It always seemed so... Derisive. They all seemed to think that they were better than him, and as much as he told himself that people had more interesting things to do with their time than to talk about him, he still felt sometimes like he could hear them whispering about him as he passed by.
Shaking his head a little, he forgot about his thoughts momentarily as he stepped out of the shower and heard the doorbell ring almost immediately.
\"Crap!\" He muttered, quickly wrapping a towel around his waist and running downstairs, grabbing the ten dollar bill on top of the fridge and opening the door.
The redhead was annoyed a moment later to see that the pizza delivery guy was, in actuality, a pizza delivery girl. Another reason he didn\'t like people looking at him. The girls tended to stare, and considering how he was dressed at the moment, he really would have preferred if it had been someone who wouldn\'t be raping him with their eyes.
Shooting her a bit of a glare, he handed her the money and grabbed the pizza, muttering a quick \"Keep the change,\" and slamming the door in her face.

A few hours later, Kira\'s parents still hadn\'t returned. He just shrugged it off. He didn\'t really care what they did, as long as they didn\'t start coming home really drunk. Putting up with drunk people all of the time was hardly his idea of fun.
Sighing softly, he changed into dark blue pajama pants and an old t-shirt and crawled beneath the two blankets on his bed, his mind wandering back to a pair of haunting blue eyes, staring at him in a way that made his heart pound just a little bit faster. /Toya.../ Tomorrow was definitely something to look forward to, for once.

Whoo. o-o; So... Yeah... Review... That\'d be good... I\'ll give you a muffin... x3
