\"Now,\" started the Priest after the prayer.” We shall choose two of these young people for the Moon and the Night.\" Meg started to whimper and C look totally unsure about what was going on. Jes just kneeled there praying to who she didn\'t know that she wouldn\'t be in one of those pairs. Zac and Jack were trying to look tough when in reality they were both sacred shitless.
\"This one,\" said a brod shouldered huge man pointing at Zac. \"Should be a moon sibling.\"
\"It has been decided then that this young male will be a moon sibling.\" said the High Priest. The mack Zck Zac up and dragged him to a room on the left. It look as though Zac was about to pee his pants.
A pretty twenty something looking girl came up and look at Meg and C. \"I believe Moe Moon shall also take this girl.\" she said pointing at C. And the Priest again said,\" It has been decided that this young woman shall belong to the Moon.\" And the woman dragged C up and took her into the same room that they took Zac to. C didn\'t look none to happy.
\"Well I suppose the Night shall take this young lad then.\" said a thirty something looking man.\" He doesn\'t look that bad after all.\" It look like that remark hurt Jack\'s ego or maybe it was because Meg was so clby tby to hear it.
\"It has been decided that this young male well be of the Night.\" said the High priest. The man took Jack to a room on the right.
A pale looking woman walk up and stared at the two reaming girls. \' Gillianne don\'t take the black haired girl.\' Arland mind sent to her. \'I do not wish her to be a vamp if anything she deserves to be the sacrifice.\'
Gillianne stared at Arland. \'You have your reasons for wanting that and I believe she would give the Night people a bad name.\' replied Gillianne. \"I choose this girl to be a Night Sibling.\" Gillianne said out loud pointing at Meg.
\"It has been decided that this young woman shall be one of the Night Siblings.\" said the High Priest. The pale looking woman dragged Meg into the room where Jack was.
The High Priest look at Jes sadly and said,\" You were not chosen to be of either race. So unless by some miracle you will be the sacrifice on the new moon when your friends will be made into the Night and Moon.\"
\'Shit I was wrong. I was starting to think they weren’t a fucking cult. And Damnit \'thought Jes,\' they can tell who the virgins are.\' That remark made Arland smile it took all his self-control not to laugh out right. Arland also knew that the person who was not chosen to be of either race was not told about the circumstances of living pass new new moon. They were also not told that if they lived then they would take the place of the High Priest. Arland prayed to the moon that no one would fall in love with her because she did not deserve that sacred position of power.
