How do you write? Are you kidding me!!

Update:

Yaoi House has contacted me yet again and has said that they will continue with publishing Cake but the state of the company right now means that only Cethe and Taming Riki III will be published in 2008. Hmmmm, if it's a money issue, if YH offered a piece of Cake for pre-order, do you think I could squeeze my way into 2008? Give me your thoughts....otherwise, I'll just shut up and keep typing.

This is what has been going on in my world. Write, write, write. Just not the creative writing kind. Big Sigh. Life and the art of living it is interfering with my creative process, and the fact that March 31st is year end for government agencies and they need help spending their budgets…so even though is was a nasty job, I did it. HEHEHEHEHE.

So, I’m back in creative writing class…hopefully this will be my last one to get my certificate. I blew off the last class because I didn’t want to write in a journalism style. I don’t respond well to authority. (Which shouldn’t be a surprise if you read my smutty little AFF offerings to the Yaoi Gods.)

The first class has kicked off the next chappie of the black hole that is Walter’s life. That should be pumping out soon. Azrael the Lycan puppie should be posted this weekend. Again, bad plotting on my part is making CANDY a little slower because I have to create a whole new culture and it’s creepin me out. Seriously….sometimes I need to take my brain out and wash it. Where do I come up with this stuff.

Any way, this is an update on the last chapter of CAKE.

I have been contacted again by Yaoi House and this is my response to their inquiry. So, as far as I know, it’s full steam ahead…we’ve only been derailed, not destroyed.

Greetings!

To set your mind at ease, I would like to continue forward with the publishing of CAKE with your company. I realize that you will now have to pick up the pieces and that things will progress slower than I anticipated. I am willing to wait (as per original contract). I do believe that I was offered that contract based on other opinions aside from Kira's and I have informed many of my Internet fans and readers that Yaoi House would be publishing CAKE. They have co-miserated with me when Kira made her announcement but they are quite supportive of me still getting my novel into print. Many have asked if they could pre-order but that was prior to the 'event'.

In the past, I had to resend materials a couple of times. Do you have the full CAKE document and character sketches? I can re-send if necessary.

Thank you for keeping me informed of the situation at YH. I do appreciate it and I hope you are able to make all your ventures fruitful.

If however you want to break your contract, we can not stop you as Kira, while manager of the company, absolved you of any obligation to us. If you respond saying yes, this will bind you to your initial contract with this company and if you say no you are free to take your book and release it as you like with no further obligation to us.
