The End

Chapter 33 – The End

It took one month. It took another long month for Ririka to confess it all, crying and stumbling, pouting and begging, the whole time Shinwa in jail awaiting the judge’s decision and the police evidence and everything it would take to allow him to go free. Ririka hated confessing, she had spat, fought, and bloodied several men before Karin had flown in, Ririka’s younger sister, yet more dominant soul, and had just walked up to Ririka and smacked her across the face. What happened from there to force Ririka to tell the truth was untold, but most were sure Karin’s means were not all just plain physical slapping for Ririka walked with a limp, that could be sexual or it could be the cracking of broken toes in torture. Either way Yuki realize Karin was not someone to be messed with.

In one months time Shinwa was released out into the world, perhaps not a completely changed man, but so grateful that he could think of nothing but two people; his little sister and Yuki. He wanted nothing more than to hug both girls in his arms and pull them to him. Ririka, who was now going to jail for thirty years, funny how the girl received a much lesser sentence, was out of the picture for life. Shinwa was being flown back to Japan beside and anxious Yuki, who clung to him with all of her might every step of the way.

The moment they returned they skipped over bragging to all of their friends and went straight to the home of Shinwa’s family, where Mom was passed out on the couch and his father was somewhere with his girlfriend. Shinwa left a note that said he would no longer be supporting them, went in, took his little sister, and left. He wondered how long it would even be before they noticed she was gone. He cared little, he just knew she needed proper care and his family was not offering it.

From there they returned home, penniless, tired, but happy. Shinji, missing the sound of voices in his house, though he enjoyed the company of Gigei very much, invited Shinwa and Yuki in, where they would stay for a few months before Yuki found a job working with a famous manga group and Shinwa did something he never thought he would do, joined a band and started playing clubs. It was money and it made them happy.

After Shai graduated from high school she, Kyoei, Shukufuku, and Bliss moved back into town. Kyoei found a job as a radio deejay, working from nighttime voice talent, to morning show, which was a better paying job. Shai stayed at home and took care of their brood, which included Shu and Bliss, along with Shai and Kyoei’s joint children Dane Harrke, and Harmony Spirit. Together the family lived modestly, always a little beyond their means, but not enough to lose themselves deeply into debt.

Yuki and Shinwa quickly made names for themselves, and Shinwa went back to acting, on a television series as a detective with a secret: he was gay, which made his wife extremely happy. Together they had four children, Sora, the eldest, Link and Yuna, the twins, and Tiera, the sweetest and youngest.

Fuji and Amatsu married one year after graduation from Tokyo University. Together, along with Devilin, they took over the Maple Gold business, letting Noriko and Teiyoku take care of their little son, Waza, which means business in Japanese, they were very one track minded. Fuji was modest; she had two children, her eldest Ashe, and her youngest, Rhapsody. They were named after the characters in the book that Amatsu had first seen Fuji reading, the one where they had the common interest.

Together the children all grew up together, as family and friends, and together the friends stayed in touch as much as busy parents and businesspeople could. However, the children have a story of their own to tell, for though you would expect those parents to be perfect after what they went through, their children may have faults of their own…
