I have to have you

Matt moved his hand over to Charlotte’s leg and squeezed her knee as the car drove slowly down a dirt road, she continued looking out of the window. The area was completely dead; she had barely seen one car in the last 40 minutes of driving. Where were they going now? She wondered if she’d spend the rest of her life on the run with a man she didn’t want to be running away with. She wondered if her mom was worried yet? She must be, even a less then decent mother like hers couldn’t help but worry for their missing daughter even if she knew she would be presumed dead by now. No body meant they cant of lost complete hope.

Matt caught the sigh of his wife’s chest slowly moving in and out as she breathed against the window, she was close to crying he could tell, that’s why she was breathing heavier. He didn’t know whether he was angry that she still was so upset, that nothing he could do would cheer her up or whether he was upset that he was the reason for her misery and that he couldn’t make it stop. He’d go to the ends of the earth just to get a smile from her directed purely at him. But she would, wouldn’t she? Eventually he’d be the light of her life, the reason for existing would be for him. Her husband, the one thing she loved more then anything else. After all, she was for him so why wasn’t he for her.

He caught a glimpse of her bare neck and felt the sweat appear on his forehead, his fingers continued to slowly run over her knee, she had jeans on but he could still feel the slenderness of those legs. They would be soft underneath, his fingers would run over them effortlessly all the way down to her feet and then up again all along her smooth skin. He ran his tongue over the ring in his lip, he felt himself grow hard. She still had the exact same effect on him now as she did way back when he first saw her, even before he had touched her skin or kissed her lips.

Charlotte looked curiously as the car pulled up along the road, in-between some trees, the road was dead it had been for miles there was nothing around why was he pulling up? She felt his hand get heavier on her leg as his over hand moved underneath her seat. She was soon in an almost lying position where he had pulled her seat so far back, she turn ed to him just as he crawled over the gear stick and on top of her.
“Matt please I …”
He stopped her from talking with a kiss to the lips, he didn’t want to hear her reject him, he had heard it too much, it was embedded in his brain already.
“I couldn’t drive any longer knowing how luscious you were looking, I have to have you”
His hand moved up inside her top, she tried to struggle against his touch, begged herself to stop shivering from his contact for all the wrong reasons, begged herself to hate him, begged herself to feel disgusted by him. But she didn’t. God she wished she were back in the boot.

If anybody had walked past at the moment they would have seen the slight rock of the car, but why would they even ponder for a second that there was girl in there being held against her will. Who’d been forced to perform unforgivable things to a man for months that tortured her day and night. But infact it didn’t matter anyway, there really was no one for miles around.

…………………………………………………………….

“I’m telling you, Chris has been with me for the last few months. I’m having his baby, we might even get married at the end of this year” Summer pleaded with Detective Adams, sure Chris had his bad points but she knew he was a good man underneath, she knew he wasn’t capable of murder after all he loved her. He wouldn’t risk imprisonment or death himself purely because he wouldn’t leave her to bring up a child by herself.
As Detective Knowles interviewed the young woman he was becoming increasingly aware that maybe Chris Marshal wasn’t to blame but until they found Mathew Jackson he was their only suspect at hand. She was clearly blinded by love though to this man who was still clearly pure scum.
“He is not a selfish man Detective, he wouldn’t leave me to become a single mother. And kidnapping or killing a girl would lead to that. We’re going to be a proper little family, bring up this baby together.”

“You say he moved in with you not long after the incident at the party?”
“Yes, he moved in with me before that girl went missing. He didn’t even mention her, I knew nothing about her until then I know he didn’t do it.”
Along with other witnesses it appeared that Chris Marshal really could be innocent, nothing added up. The nagging voice in the back of his brain told him they had to find Mathew Jackson but he was incredibly hard to track down. His apartment was so run down he was sure that anyone could have broken in and framed him for the crime but now he wasn’t so sure. He was so desperate to find the killer that he was just out to blame someone. But not anymore, he would find Mathew Jackson. He would find out what happened to Charlotte Gellar.

“Knowles, you better come and have a look at this” Detective Adams burst into the room, knocking the other man out of his thoughts. He ran slowly with the other man towards Chris Marshals cell and entered not realising the young pregnant woman following closely behind.
“Oh fuck.”
The two men watched as the dead man hung from his belt in the ceiling. Chris Marshal had hung himself; the atmosphere would have been deadly quiet if it weren’t for the ear piercing screams of Summer. He really had left her to become a single mother.

Had he been innocent, he had died because of false imprisoment and accusations of kidnap or murder that were comepletly untrue, had he been guilty …. Detective Knowles felt the sweat fall down his face; they may never know what ever happened to Charlotte. He didn’t know what was worse, or what he blamed himself more for. It made him even m ore adamant that Mathew Jackson would be found, he had to be.
