A/N: It might be a little off here and there… Enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ransom had come to in a small but dark room. It was ten foot by ten foot and had a low ceiling. As be leaned against the wall, he found himself worrying about Marianela. It only grew the longer he sat in that small and dash room. There was a sound at the door, a window of light spilled into the room. His eyes glowed in the dark and he knew the guy was looking at him. He couldn’t see his face but he already knew what was going to happen.
Hope for Marianela’a safety flashed through his mind and then it was gone. “What do you want?” The way his voice sound sent a chill down his own spine, he didn’t need to be all happy; he needed to get everyone out. He needed to find Marianela before something happened to her.
The guard opened the door and waved him over he walked the chains clinking as he walked over. His golden brown eyes fixed themselves onto the guard. “No funny stuff.”
His pupils narrowed and he smirked, “Define funny.” He grinned when the guard growled at him.
The black club at his side came out and was about to connect with Ransom’s head. He quickly raised his hands up and then wrapped the chain around said club. Yanking on it he pulled it away and quickly turned it on the guard. He had smacked the man in the head and in the throat before three more guard came running down the hall. The black club flew from his hand and smacked one in the face.
One went down and he turned to run. “Might as well try now.” His form shifted and the chains plus his cloths fell to the ground.
~~~~

Daisuke grunted as the small kid knocked him away. The kid was strong; he glanced over at Zev to find the wolf circling Brook. She still had the grin on her face. “My, my, such a cut little Wolfe.” There was a snarl and she giggled. “Now now, bad dogs get put down.”

A whip came out and lashed at his face, he yelped. A thin trail of blood dripped down his muzzle. Shaking his head, he growled as he ran at her. His claws stretched out and then the whip lashed out and got him across the chest, this time it burned like hell. That didn’t stop him as he slammed into her knocking her onto her back. Teeth bared and ready, he yelped when something picked him up and tossed his body like a leaf.

Standing up, Daisuke ran at the kid. Both daggers held out to his side. He saw the kid try to slip to the side and twisting the dagger, used the hook to grab the kid’s shirt. Taru was yanked back and slipping around he grabbed his shirt. His body fell out of the shirt and onto the ground. The boy stood up and brushed himself off. “I’m done playing.” He turned around and Daisuke’s eyes widened.

“You’re a…” He never finished his sentence as he found himself being slammed into a tree. The male slid to the ground out cold. Zev’s wolf form soon was tossed to the side. He yelped and tried to stand back up. His body dropped to the ground and tossing his head back he let out a howl. Before he could pass out a brown werewolf and five other werewolves came flying out of the wooded area.
~~~~
Diter looked at the broken sword. Akira’s head was lowered and his bangs covered his eyes. “What did you do?”
“Huh?”
“What did you do to her?”
“Nothing… yet.”
He found his body flying across the clearing; it slid through the snow and then came to a stop at the base of a tree. Pushing himself up, he found Akira standing. Steel gray eyes were locked on him. A low growl could be heard as he stood up on his feet. He was getting ready to attack when Akira appeared next to him. A fist collided with his face and he stumbled. Akira jumped up and twisting his body his foot slammed into the back of his head.
Diter found himself in the snow and then he was roughly pulled to his feet. Dragging him over to a tree, he slammed him against the tree. Twisting Diter’s arm behind his back, Akira growled out, “Where is she?”
“Like I’ll tell you!”
Pushing on the arm harder, “You’ll tell me.”
“I’ll tell you no…” there was a loud crack and Akira smirked. That arm was now broken. “Fuck…” He slammed his head against the tree and the dark haired male slid to the ground.
The brunette whipped around and quickly dodged the whip. He jumped away as a cat woman landed where he was at. “Looks like Diter needs help.”
“Brook.” The woman turned and looked at the giant man, Diter was over one shoulder and a small child was sitting on the other. “We need to leave.”
“Aw!” She quickly ran after and they disappeared into a black hole.
Just then Hawk appeared, “Where did he go?”
“He got away.” She dropped the spear in his hand and he growled. “I’ll fucking kill him.”
Hawk looked at Akira and she turned, “I’m going to find Daisuke.” She took off; the way Akira’s aura felt made her shiver. “Some thing’s not right.”
Akira followed after her.
~~~

Daisuke felt water splash on his face and he sat up. Groaning he rubbed his head. “What the hell happened?”

“You got your ass kicked is what.” He looked at the woman.

“Who the hell are you?”

“The name’s Star mate and we just got here in the nick of time.”

Zev grunted as he stood up. “Akira…”

Star looked over at him. “Sit puppy. You’re in no condition to move.”

“I need to get to Akira.” He was standing now and Star sighed as the other male stood.

“Let me guess, Akira?”

“Yeah.”

She sighed, “Fine I’m going with.” Looking at the other wolves she made a motion and they took off running. “I was going to speak with the elders, but I’ll help out.”

“Where did those three go?”

“They up and left when me and my pack got here.”

“Daisuke!” They turned and looked over to see Hawk floating over and Akira walking. Hawk landed on his should and she quickly said something in his ear. Black eyes watched as Akira walked over to the injured Zev.

“You okay?”

Zev grinned, “Just fine.”

“Sure you are… we need to get to the city.”

He saw the look in Akira’s eyes, “Akira what’s wrong?”

“They took Marianela.”

“What?”

The brunette walked past him, “I’m going to get my stuff.”

Just then a group of winged guards landed in front of Akira. Looking at them he smirked, “What are you doing?”

“What does it look like?” He looked over his shoulder at Daisuke.

There was clapping as another man walked forward, “My my Daisuke. You look like shit, getting your ass handed to you by a child.” He stopped next to Akira. The man had dark green hair that was short and blue eyes. He was six foot three and had a dark skin tone. The man had on a blue shirt and black pants, a sword hung on his hip and he had fingerless gloves on his hands.

“You could have helped!”

The man stopped when something sharp appeared at his throat. “What do you want?”

He glanced at Akira, “He reminds me of Elli. But looks like you, such a shame.”

“What is with you and everyone else!?” Daisuke was glaring at the man now. “Akira put your spear away. He’s as harmless as a fly.”

“Flies are annoying and so is he.”

“Put it away. He’s friendly, more of a brother to Ellen then her own brother.”

“He really does remind me of her.” He gently pushed the spear away from his neck. “Now let’s get out of here before the King decides to send more.”

“Rainer, what about Davion?”

“Don’t worry Akira and your secrets are safe, but he does know that Akira is your son.” Rainer made a motion to Akira. “You should get out of here fast. Take what you have now and leave. I’ll send the rest of your stuff with Cyan.”

Zev looked at Akira, “The faster I know my family is safe the better I’ll feel.” Then he asked, “What about the others Akira?”

He looked down and rubbed his chin. “Fine… but I still need my bag there some things in there that I need.”

“Okay, Cyan will deliver it to you before you get there.”

“We’ll come along; you might need some help getting into the city.” Star was standing off to the side; you could see the other werewolves in the trees beyond her. “They have the whole place under guard.”

Akira waved his hand, “Whatever.” He turned and Zev grinned.

“Good lets go.” He shifted and snagged Akira, the startled yelp had the wolf grinning. Once the male was on his back he turned to Daisuke. Waving he took off running.

“Hmmmm… Hawk, when everything is safe come tell me.”

“Aye aye.” She floated off after them. Star was in her wolf form and followed after them, the rest of the werewolves behind her.

Rainer looked at Daisuke and smirked. “Looks like he’s doing better than we did.”

“Bah…” He waved him off, “whatever.” The older brunette limped past the wing guards. “fucking brat…” He could hear Rainer laughing as he walked off.
~~~~
It was late afternoon when they found themselves crouched behind a line of bushes. Akira looked up when Hawk landed on his shoulder. “We can make it if we all rush during the time they walk off.”
“To think they put a fence up this quick.”
“They don’t want any outside help from unknown paranormals or humans.” Zev nodded, he had decided to stay in his wolf form, while Star shifted to her human form. Everything Akira had said was true, and to see how good the back-up plans were, it was amazing. He wanted to how Akira knew all of this though. “Relax; you learn things when you work around the underground.”
Sky blue eyes looked at Akira.
“We need to move now.” The brunette grabbed his duffle bag then he was over the bush and running for the gap in the gate. The rest of them followed, Akira slipped between the gaps as they jumped over the gate. Looking around they quickly ran down the street. They all slipped into an alley and Akira turned to Zev. “Go check on your family, I need to go get someone first.”
The wolf shifted and shook his head, “No.”
“I’ll be alright you need to check on your family… besides I can’t focus with all your worrying.”
“But…”
Akira pushed him towards the R-District. “Go I bet your mom is about to go nuts without knowing if your safe.”
“I… just…”
“What about you new brother and sister?” That shut him up. “I’ll be alright. I need to do this alone.” He turned and was about to walk off when Zev pulled him back.
Star and the other wolves went to keep an eye out and give the two some alone time.
Zev held him close and Akira gave a small smile, “Please be safe.”
“I’ll be fine. The place I’m going to will be the furthest from any trouble.”
“Okay.”
“When I’m finished I’ll meet you in front of my house.”
The wolf tightened his hold on Akira. “I want you to go with me at the end of winter.”
“Let’s take one thing at a time.”
“I’m not going to let go till you say yes.”
The brunette sighed and shook his head. He could be stubborn and just like all those other times he was being stubborn again. “Fine, I’ll go… only if you meet me outside my house. No following!”
“Got it.”
“You still owe me.”
“I know.”
After setting a meet up spot the group split, Akira was running down an alley by himself. He slid to a stop and dove behind a trash can. To scout guards ran past him and he sat his bag on the ground. Pulling off the shoes he had slipped on outside the city, he tossed them into the bag and pulled out some athletes tape.
Wrapping the arch of his feet in the tape he moved up to wrap his ankles. The he quickly worked on his hands and wrists. The shirt he had on was gone since he had used it to bandage the wound on his arm. It laid in the bag in shreds, so he pulled out that dark blue long sleeve shirt. Yeah the one with the holes and wide neck, when he pulled it on you could see the scar and the barcode tattoo on his collar bone.
From here till he got to his house he would only use what he needed. Standing he wrapped a something around his waist, it rested on his hip and he slipped the metal rod into the pouch. His phone was placed in there along with a light and his metal tin. After all this shit was over he was going to smoke. Hell why not light one now. His hand closed around the metal tin just as those two guards came around the corner. They saw him.
“Hey you! Didn’t you hear get back to your home!”
The lighter flicked on and they caught the barcode on his collar bone. When the cancer stick was lit he tipped his head back and let out a thin stream of smoke. Turning to them he tipped his head to the side. “Sorry I missed the memo. Just got back in town, was gone for four months.” He smirked and his left hand rested on the pouch on his hip. “I just came to see a friend.” Crouching he pulled his duffle bag closer and they quickly placed their hands on their weapons, as Akira ruffled through the bag. “Then I’ll go home. But something tells me you won’t let me leave.”
One pushed the other forward; the guy stumbled and coughed, “I’m sorry to say this…” He gulped when Akira looked at him, “but we are to take in all Missing Children.”
“Oh really.” He zipped the bag closed, then stood up, they both stepped back. “You shouldn’t have to apologies your only doing your job, just like I am as a team leader.” Akira placed the cig to his mouth. “But I can’t go with you.”
“Then we’ll have to take you in.” By this time they had gained some courage, till Akira gave a blood chilling smile.
“Then come and get me.” They pulled out their stun clubs and ran at him. He sighed and jumped over them. Turning, he quickly knocked their heads together and they dropped to the ground. “Pathetic.”
Walking over to his bag he pulled out two black things. When he pulled them on they looked like socks but they weren’t. Wiggling his exposed toes he chuckled, “And she said I’d never use them.” The arch of his foot was exposed also. Standing he looked down at them, “Hmmm… they are better than shoes.”
They made it easier to break into a place and never leave a mark. Letting his pant legs fall over them he grabbed his bag.
The bag flew over the iron fence and Akira soon followed. His wings disappeared and he glanced around. “Psst, Akira.”
He whipped around, “Hawk what the hell are you doing here?”
“Zev sent me.”
“Damn it.”
“He just wanted to let you know his family was safe but…”
“But what?”
“Rune’s brother Zach went missing so Rune went to look for him and Keir rushed after.”
“Huh?”
She took a breath and explained the story to him that Dawn had told her to tell him. “And that is what happened.”
“I see.”
“You want me to go back?”
“Yes.”
Hawk sighed, “Fine.”
“Tell Zev to try I’ll keep an eye out after I’m done and he needs to keep an eye out also. Once its dark we’ll really look for them.”
“Okay!”
“Hush.”
“Sorry… I’ll deliver the message.” She quickly floated off and Akira sighed. Grabbing his bag he quickly stashed behind a bush. The sun was setting and quick, he needed to get everything finished by nightfall. He casually walked up to the building and stepped in. He knew this building, every one of them who didn’t have big powerful families to help them knew of this place. As he walked in his mind flashed to those days.
“Hello Yuki!”
“If you think that’ll work, think again.”
“Geez you can be a brat. We’re trying to help you.” He turned and looked at her; cold stormy gray eyes seemed to look through her.
Turning away, “I don’t need help.” His eyes followed a bird outside the window; it was hopping around on the windowsill. It was eating at the bread crumbs on the windowsill “I just want out of here.”
“Yuki you need to close the window.”
He fisted his hand and growled, “I didn’t say you could call me that.” Looking at her, the woman backed away, “You're not my family! Now leave me the fuck alone!” The bird flew off and he slammed the window with enough force to make the glass shake. “All these things you keep listing off as medical conditions, there not there apart of me. So stop trying to fucking fix me!”
“It’s part of our job.” Turning once again he looked at her, “Just like it was your job to keep your team together.”
“I only did what I could do.”
“I just wanted to come say goodbye, because I’ll be working with another person from now on. He told me your good friends, his name is Ransom. After he leaves I’ll be leaving this place. Maybe the next time we meet it will be beyond these walls.”
“I doubt it.”
The woman smiled and she nodded, “Well then it’s time for lunch.”
“Fine.” He followed after her and she walked behind him a few feet. Watching as his fingers ran along the wall.
Akira let his fingers brush over the wall as he walked. It was cold and quiet. He knew they would have taken everyone of them out of here for safety reasons. Then again, sometimes they didn’t even listen, thinking that they were safe behind their iron fences and high tech shit. Few days later Mitch’s family had come to take him home, explaining to the doctors why he could hear what he heard and everything else. He never met her beyond the walls of this building.
He stopped and looked around. “Well damn.” Pulling the cig from his mouth he smirked as he saw the trail of out cold sweepers and at the end of the hall was a person. Two persons actually, “Hello!”
They turned and he recognized the doctor. “What are you doing here?”
Walking over the Sweeper’s bodies, he made sure to kick one that was waking up in the back of the head as he walked by. “It’s really easy Doc. I’m here for the last of my team.”
Another person was standing next to him; it was the woman from years ago. “Akira?”
“Hmmm… looks like we met in this shit hole again. Now where is Willow?”
“You can’t take her.”
“Bullshit.” He took the cancer stick from his mouth and yawned.
“You should put that out it could kill you.”
“Well that would be a shame, if I was human.”
The woman gapped, “You not human?”
He grinned, “Just kidding. No let’s just say they help me.” Then he walked around them, “I’ll take you standing there confused as you have no idea who did this.” He waved to them, “Oh I wouldn’t try to stop me if I were you.” Then he walked off.
“Akira has changed.”
“Are you crazy he just walked in and said he was breaking her out.”
“I can tell by looking at his eyes, there not cold anymore.”
Akira walked around a corner and he stopped when heard a sound behind him. He whipped his spear out and it stopped an inch from the male’s throat. “Hey there long time no see.”
“Stupid cat.”
“Yo!” The male had a dark skin tone; his hair was blond and his eyes yellow. He stood as tall as Akira and had a lion like tail the swished behind him. His cloths consisted of a red puffy jacket, pants that stopped half way down his calves and red flip-flops with the band that crossed over the top of his feet. “So how are you?” The cat like male was twenty three years old and most likely would be turning twenty four in a few months
“What are you doing here?”
“Getting Willow, and then I thought about it and figured you would come here to get her. So I decided to wait for you and help.”
“Damn cat, fine you can help. Come on cat.”
“Sunny! It’s Sunny. Damn, you’re worse than before.”
“You coming or not.”
“Fine.” Sunny followed pouting.
Willow sat looking out the window, “Everything is changing too fast.” She had long green hair and green eyes, her cloths consisted of a white shirt and jean pants. The woman was twenty-one and as tall as Akira, her skin was pale from sitting inside all the time.
The door slammed open and Willow turned, “Yo!”
“Sunny! Akira! What are you doing?”
“Getting you out of here. We’re going to need everyone.” Akira walked over and she quickly hugged him.
“I missed you.”
“It’s not our team without you.”
“Woohoo let’s go!”
They turned and Akira sighed. “What do you want now?”
“I won’t let you get past. I called for the sweepers they’ll be here to get you and your friends.”
With a shake of his head and another sigh, “You shouldn’t of done that.” The doctor raised a gun and pointed it at Akira. “Think about it doctor, do you really want to piss me off.”
“No but a bullet can stop you and if I have to I’ll…” He never finished. There was a loud clang and he dropped to the floor. The nurse stood there with a frying pan.
“I wondered why only Willow stayed and everyone else left. You should hurry.”
Sunny grabbed Willow and left Akira and the woman there. “You know what I’ll have to do?”
“Yes. Just don’t do anything too bad.” He slipped behind her and she turned her head. “How?”
“If I told you then I’d have to kill you.” She slumped over and Akira laid her on the ground. “Maybe next time it will be outside of this hell hole.” Turning he ran out of the room and finally caught up with Sunny and Willow. The door slammed open as they ran out and Akira ran over to grab his bag. They climbed up and over the iron fence and Akira came to a stop.
He looked back at the old looking building. It was made of bricks and had vines growing up some of the walls. It looked like it could pass for a normal building but once you walked in everything changed.
“Akira!” Dropping the dead cig he quickly caught up with them.
