I have recieved an email from Yaoi House asking for character descriptions for cover art. Yippee!! Then I went, Damn. I might have descriptions scattered throughout my works but nothing ever dragged them together. So, I am posting here so you LOYAL can follow along. I am up to chapter 7 on the second (ahem final) draft. I cannot post it, I think you know why.
I find it so odd to go back and read Cake with 'fresh' eyes. Now that I know what was going on, or what will go on, I find that Claudius is a little too hyper. Can't have that without little Sexy in the picture. So...below is the character descriptions I have forwarded to the publisher.

Kiix
Sigmund Edward Xavier (Sex/Xavier)
Our little hero starts off as a morbidly obese legally blind computer programmer who get gets kidnapped by a vampire and in the span of that year of captivity ends up looking like a sex god – if somewhat short.
Age: 30 (looks early 20’s)
Height 5, 10
Weight 135 lbs
Building, medium build, more of a runners body
Eyes – jade green (mint)
Complexion: medium to fair
Vampire Characteristics:
Waist length, red hair. Like a new copper penny (not orange)
Wings: Ends just barely touch the ground at when at rest.
Vampiric Eye: When using the Blood gifts, the flame shows in the eyes of the vampire. Sex’s eyes glow Prussian blue.
Clothing style:
Marcus dresses him in low rider chinos, doc martins and too tight and too short tanks. Xavier himself prefers loose baggy clothes and bowling shirts.
Marcus Du Bussey (Armor)
Marcus is a hired assassin with a special talent of being able to read the minds of others. All he needs is to visually see them to work his magic. Marcus is hired to ferret out an industrial spy and discovers Sex in the act. It is love at first sight and instead of killing his target, he kidnaps Sex and holds him as his sexual prisoner for a year. Aside from his 365-day-boot-camp-training-to-a-sexy-body activities, he is a renown violinist and celebrated artist within the Vampire Nation.

Build: built like a linebacker but solid muscle
Eyes – soft chocolate brown
Complexion: medium
Vampire Characteristics:
Mid shoulder blade length, wavy brown hair (sable)
Vampiric Eye: When using the Blood gifts, the flame shows in the eyes of the vampire. Marcus’ eyes glow a pale scarlet shade.
Clothing style:
Elegant but functional. He generally motivates to shades of brown, tan or creams
He does own a set of red leather pants and a sheer black shirt that sets X’s heart a-doinking
Claudius Du Bussey (Father)
Claudius is an Ancient Vampire who has worked as the number one Assassin for over two hundred years. He rescued Marcus from horrid child abuse conditions when the boy was just thirteen and raised him to adulthood before turning him into a vampire. He considers himself a psychopath (bezerker) because he is not fully in connection with his emotions. He provides the stability needed in the House of Du Bussey.

Weight 145 lbs
Build: of medium build, swimmer's body, wide at the shoulders and narrow at the hip
Eyes – arctic blue
Complexion: dark to medium
Vampire Characteristics:
Waist length, straight black hair
Vampiric Eye: When using the Blood gifts, the flame shows in the eyes of the vampire. Sex’s eyes glow deep scarlet red.
Clothing style:
Dresses like he stepped off the pages of QC. He is the picture of refinement. He favors black, greys and burgundies for his clothing.

Now, in later books, it is revealed that Claudius and Sex are actually related through a father/great grandfather connection.

Eep! It has been pointed out that I did not add the boys 'essential juice'...err essence to the description. How do you draw smell? Aside from stink lines, that is. Apples, Vanilla Cake and Cloves oh my.
