Hanna blinked not  sure if she heard right . “Excuse me “? Saiai sighed again and sat on the couch . Hanna sat next to him with a look of concern .”I know I'm just your assistant  , but   I don't like seeing you upset “. Saiai smiled as he squeezed Hanna's’ shoulder . “Thank you , Hanna, but you're much more than just my assistant . You help me so much and I can't thank you enough”  Hanna frowned as he thought of what Saiai had said .

“Um ...Saiai ? I heard you say Kitamura . That man isn't THE Nori Kitamura . You're married to him “? Saiai made a face of disgust .

“Yes ,that's him  . The one and only “. Hanna frowned as she let what Saiai said sink in . Wanting to get this over with Saiai took a deep breath before speaking .

“Actually I'm...was married to him . Yeah he was my ...husband,  but thankfully not anymore  “.

“So you married the head of the government council  ? I've heard of him . He's the reason why the east is  practically crime free . He's considered a hero to some “ . Saiai  scoffed as he rolled his  eyes .

“Let me tell you something about Nori Kitamura  . He's no hero . And he's here  to see my son “. Hanna looked at Saiai in confusion but  didn't speak .”Sora is Nori’s son . That man is a monster  . I don't want want him near my son  . Whatever happens Nori Kitamura is not to see Sora  . Okay Hanna “?

Hanna nodded as she looked at Saiai with wide eyes . “If you say so but..”

“Just  do as I ask . Please Hanna . That man ruined my life,  I won't let him ruin sons’ “. Hanna wanted to ask what had the  supposedly evil Nori  Kitamura had done to Saiai  , but she felt that that was none of her business,  or her place to ask . Not unless Saiai wanted to let  her know .

Nori watched as Daichi took his pills and then made himself  comfortable on the couch . His brother grabbed the sock he had filled with rice and placed it on his leg . The tight lines around his face showing how much Daichi was in pain . Lately it seemed as if the medications weren't helping him at  all . The doctor  recommended doubling the dose  ,but then Daichi would be at risk of becoming addicted to the potent medicine he needed for his pain ,and still not find relief  . So Daichi opted to not take the risk . He didn't want to become dependent on something like that . Nori was worried about his brother  . He felt helpless not being able to help him or do anything for him . “Nothing is helping at all “? Daichi gave Nori a weak smile .

“I'm okay  . I just need some rest “.

“I wish I could do  something for you  . You wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for those bastards  . I wish was strong enough to stop them “.

“Hmmm. Nori  you were only twelve . What could you have done “?

“Something.  Anything “! Daichi sighed before he turned to look at Nori  .

“You need to stop beating yourself up for  what happened . What's done  is done “.

“How is it that you're able to just accept this”?  Nori asked as he swept his arm over Daichi  .

“Because being angry and bitter won't  change what's happened,  Nori  . I've learned to accept it . I can't do nothing to change it ,so why waste my time even trying “? Nori realized that Daichi was right . He hated to admit it , but it was true .”Besides “,Daichi continued.  “I prefer to use what little I have and get Sora and Saiai back with us “.

“I don't know what I'd do if I lost you “. Daichi smiled as he absently  rubbed at his aching leg  . Nori gave a smile back as he  leaned  against the sofa and closed his eyes  .

Twelve years ago

Nori looked out the window and grinned as he watched the scenery pass by . Next to him Daichi and their older sister,  Kira were talking as they pointed out things that caught their attention.  Nori happily munched on his pocky . He turned to listen to them and joined the conversation.  The three were so engrossed they didn't  notice as the car stopped  . Suddenly the car doors swung open and several masked men appeared . Nori ,Daichi ,and Kira were roughly dragged from the car screaming as the driver was held at gunpoint  . Three pair of frightened  eyes looked on as the men studied  them briefly  . One of the men spoke up .

“Is it them or not “? The men who had the driver dragged him out of the car and pushed him to the ground . The masked man took out his phone and clicked on it a few times  . He glanced at it then at the siblings before he nodded  .

“Yeah it's them . Get ‘em and let's go “.

“What about him “? The man turned to look at the driver then shrugged  . “Now our problem “.  The man next to the driver pointed his gun at him and shot him several times  . The poor driver was dead before he fell to the ground  . As Kira and Daichi screamed , Nori  looked on horrified feeling something wet hit his face . He stared blankly as he wiped at his face to see blood . Nori was numb as he stared at the drivers sightless eyes . He was jerked to his  feet and roughly dragged  back to the car . He huddled next to Kira and Daichi as the three of them looked on in terror of what had just happened. They drove off in the car and the men talked amongst themselves as if they hadn't just killed someone  . Nori was too scared to pay attention to what the men were saying ,but he heard bits and pieces of the conversation.  

“He wants them gone “.

“No one can know it's him “. And

“It's a good hiding place “.

At one time the one who appeared to be the leader took out his phone again . A few clicks and he was talking to someone .

“Hey ,it's me . Yeah we got ‘em . No trouble at all.  Don't worry , no you won't be . Okay.  Okay. Bye “. With a smirk the man put his phone away while he glanced at the terrified trio . They drove in silence for about an hour when they stopped . The men climbed out of the car and grabbed Daichi, Kira, and Nori then ushered them into a building  . The men pushed the trio inside .

Nori looked around the huge place , it seemed to be some kind of plant , but it looked abandoned.  All sorts of things scattered around . Before he had time to study his surroundings anymore,  Nori,  Daichi, and Kira were made to sit on the floor  . Nori looked nervously at the masked men while they talked  .

“Who are they ? What do they want “?

“I-I don't know ,Daichi “.

Nori looked away to see Kira holding Daichi and scooted closer to them . Just as they were calming down the men walked towards them and ýanked Kira by her hair and dragged her off to a room . Nori stood up and tried to reach for her ,but he was pushed back . He stood up again and reached for his screaming sister, Nori was brutally punched and kicked  . Nori gasped as the air rushed out of him . Daichi whimpered as he moved closer to to Nori while his brother struggled  for air . Nori was in shock as he lay motionless.  The men laughed as they watched their comrade pull Kira kicking and screaming to the room . Minutes later she was heard still screaming,  but this time in pain.  

“No ! Please,  stop ! You're hurting me ! Stop it “! Were heard along with the man's’ laughter and moans of “Oh, yes”! A while later the man came out and adjusted himself  . He looked at Nori  and Daichi smirking at them . From inside the room Kira was crying . Another man went in the room closing the door.  Kira’s screams continued shortly . Nori trembled as he heard Kira scream . He had tears rolling down his cheeks as he wondered what the horrible men were doing to his sister . Daichi meanwhile covered his ears with his hands as he tried to drown out Kira’s screams of pain with his eyes squeezed shut . This went on with two more men going into the room  . When it was mercifully over , the last man , now unmasked came out with a smirk as he left the door to the room open . Moments later Kira also came out . She limped to her brothers.  The first thing they noticed was her bruised face , tears sliding down her swollen cheeks, her disheveled hair , and her clothes were torn . She held her blouse together with one hand while her other hand gripped her ripped skirt close . Her breath hitched with every step she took .  Nori and Daichi looked on as Kira  dropped to her knees on the floor next to them . Both brothers moved closer and hugged her . Kira hugged them back tightly before she burst out crying . Nori didn't know what to do  didn't know what these men had done to his sister . So he let her cry as he awkwardly patted her shoulder . He looked down and saw that Kira was bleeding  . Her skirt was stained with blood and more seemed to be seeping out . Just as he was going to ask Kira if she was okay, the men grabbed them and proceeded to tie them . One of them eyed them . “We'll should kill ‘em now “.

“Why the rush  ? Let's have some fun before we rid of them “.

Present day

Nori  woke up with a jerk  as he opened his eyes . He looked around expecting  to see those men looming over him . He let out a shaky breath as he calmed down as he took in his surroundings and saw Daichi sleeping on the couch peacefully . Nori took a relieved sigh as he glanced at his brother.  He stood and stretched then walked to Daichi and covered him with a blanket . Satisfied that his brother was comfortable,  Nori decided to get some fresh air . He quietly walked to the balcony and opened the doors  . Nori  went outside and sat on one of the cushioned chairs . He let his chaotic thoughts run amok . It had been a long time since he had that nightmare . The kidnapping had traumatized him so much ,it changed him from whom he was to the man he was today . When the nightmares occurred he would usually do whatever he could to forget them . He just couldn't distract himself from the  horrible feeling of helplessness . But right now he felt like punishing himself. So Nori stared at the  floor as he concentrated on the repressed memories he kept locked up for years .

Twelve years ago

Nori looked on weakly as the men walked toward Kira ,she whimpered as they loomed over her . They ignored her pleas as they brutally raped her yet again . The men had taken their masks off long ago . Nori tried to tune out her sobs of pain the men used her . He wondered how long they were going to keep torturing them . They had been here for several days,but it seemed like several years to him . In the time they were here , these monsters had not only violated his sister, but they would beat Nori and Daichi . Nori himself had a broken arm and was covered in bruises,Daichi on the other hand had been somewhat spared . He wasn't as bad in shape as Nori . Just then a phone rang . The leader pulled out the ringing device.

“Yeah ? Uh...no . Okay ! Fine “.

He hung up

“He wants it done already “.

The other's murmured their disappointment as Nori frowned  . He wondered what they were talking about . Then he looked on in horror as the leader took his gun out and pointed it at Kira  . She didn't show any emotion as she looked at the man . Suddenly just as he was going to fire it ,someone screamed . It took a moment  for Nori to realize that it was Daichi.  He had run go had man and grabbed onto the man's hand and bit him . The man yelled out in pain before he punched Daichi.  

“You stupid little bastard “  ! He began to kick and stomp on his leg.  Then to Nori’s horror shot him in the leg . Daichi screamed in pain as he clutched his broken leg . Nori tried to get up ,but a sudden explosion in the back of his head brought him to his knees.  He cried out as he felt on his bad arm . As he lost consciousness  , he heard a commotion.  The last thing he saw before he blacked out were some more men running at him .
