Oh yeah since i don't have it anywhere in the story Tobie and Mika are both 19 going on 20 Brian is 23 now.
Saturday Night…
“He’s not ready yet? I called you over an hour ago. What have you two been doing this whole time?”
Brian was pacing back and forth and looking at his watch. His dark blue suit gracefully shifted with every movement. Brian was not the kind of man that liked to wait for people too long; at least not when he gave enough time for them to be ready.
“One sec,” cried out Mika from the top of the stairwell. “He’ll be down in a minute. I need to talk to you for a second anyway.”
Mika, dressed in tight black jeans and shirt, quickly walked down the stairs and stopped beside Brian. “Brian, I need you help me with Tobie. I think he’s the shy type and he may be a little worried about what you’ll think of him. I want you to help me work on his shyness. Get him to open up a little. Will you help me on that?”
Brian had to fight to hide his smile. He had a good idea of what Tobie was worried about. 'He’s worried I’ll find out he’s not telling us the truth. I bet he’s also worried I’ll think he’s perfect for Chris.' This made Brian smile wide. 'Which in the end I will no matter what he tries to do tonight. That is unless he tells the truth before then.'
“Sure I’ll take care of him. I’ll make sure he opens up.”
“Ok guys I’m ready. Sorry it took me so long. I hand a time finding something that wasn’t for work or school, but that was fit to wear out in public.” As Tobie walked down to Mika and Brian he looked down in time to see Brian’s eyes widen and then close slightly. This made him nervous and he began to blush. 'Oh no! What the hell is going on? I’m blushing like a damn school girl. Shit, all he did was look surprised in his tallored suit. I can’t be blushing at that. No, a look like that from a guy couldn’t make me feel a rush of heat. I don’t really like guys. It must be warm on these steps. I do have on a sweater. Yeah! That’s it. I just got a little over heated at the same time he just happened to be looking at me. Yeah, I just need to get off these stairs.'
Brian couldn’t believe how good Tobie looked today compared to yesterday. He’d had on some old worn out clothes and his hair and face were a mess. Now he had on a forest green turtle neck sweater with a pair of black slacks and shoes. His hair was spiked and he had on a pair of small black rimed glasses that helped bring out his eyes. Brian realized that Tobie must have seen the way he’d looked at him because he blushed for a minute. 'He sure does look good when he does that. I have to remember to get him to do it again.' Brian unconsciously began to smile as he got up to greet Tobie.
Tobie was almost right in front of the two when Brian moved and closed the small gap between them. Tobie hadn’t been expecting for Brian to come up to him. Tobie almost backed up a step unconsciously as Brian put his hands on his arms. Brian either didn’t notice or choose not to react to the slight movement.
“You look great Tobie! You clean up nicely.” Brian then added, “So far I think Chris will like you. We just have to find out if you will like Chris.” Brian let go of Tobie as he said the last part. Brain backed up and moved over toward Mika and gave her a kiss and hug. Then he turned back to Tobie and made a gesture for Tobie to follow him.
“You guys have fun,” said Mika.
“We will. You be good tonight. See you later,” replied Brian.
Brian opened the door and stepped aside for Tobie to past by him. Tobie walked quickly past Brian and walked toward the midnight black sport car parked in front of the house, he guessed it was Brian’s. Tobie didn’t heard the door close behind him so he and was not expecting the arm that wrapped around his waist.
Tobie spun aroung in his captures arms. His fists were almost touching Brian’s face before he realized who it was. When he did realize who it was he turned a rosie shade of red all over. Tobie frowned and almost didn’t move his hand away.
Brian was glad that Tobie had good reflexes or he would have had a hard time explaining a black eye at work. As Brian looked at Tobie he noticed the color rising in Tobie’s face and heaven knows were else. At that thought Brian gave a slight smile. 'I think this little outing is going to be more fun than I first thought. Damn, he looks way to good when he blushes. It kind of makes him look like he just got laid. I wander how long he’ll let me hold him like this?'
“I didn’t know that you were that quick. Now I know never to get on your bad side. I’m sorry if I startled you Tobie. I was just stopping you so I could fix your shirt. Where on Earth did you learn those moves?” The older man gave a big smile but didn’t let go of his hold around the younger ones waist.
Tobie realized that he and Brian’s faces were really close to each other and the other man’s arm was still around him. He tried to get loose by backing up a little. “Yeah, my step-dad was in the army so he showed me a few moves. You know all you had to do was say my name to stop me. Um….could you let me go now? We’ll miss our reservation at the restaurant if we don’t leave now.”
Tobie gave a half hearted smile in hopes it would get Brian to let him go.
Brian let go of his hold and walked on to the car. Tobie followed him and then went around the back of the car to get in the passenger’s side. He tried the door but it wouldn’t open. Tobie waited for Brian to lean over and open the door. As he went to get in he took in the fact that Brian had not completely moved back over. Tobie stood there at the door waiting for him to move. 'Why won’t he move back over? He can’t be trying to make a move could he? No. No. No, that can’t be it he’s dating Mika. No, I must be imaging things. Wait a minute! Why would I want to imagine any thing like that? Maybe he knows all ready that I’m not really gay and trying to test me. Then why would he let me keep living with his girlfriend?'
'He must just not know I can’t get in with him right there.'
Tobie finally decided to say something. “Hey…could you move over a little Brian? I can’t get in without sitting on you.”
Brian gave one of his sexy smiles and moved over. 'When did I begin to think Brian’s smiles were sexy?' Tobie got in and was rewarded with another winning smile. The slight touches of red on Tobie’s face he knew that he’d gotten his desired reaction out of the other man. He started up the car and they drove in silence to the restaurant.
Once they reached the restaurant Brian parked the car and got out. As Tobie began to open his door it was opened for him by, you guessed it, Brian.
Tobie stared at him for a few minutes before regainning his composure and stepped out the car.
As the two walked to the front door Tobie noticed a slight pressure on the small of his back but before he could call attention to it they were at the door and the pressure was gone.
The door was made of glass with the name artfully carved into the glass. The setup was a open floor lounge type plan. The walls were all glass that over looked a garden that seemed to suround the building. In the middle and left of the resturant round and square clothless tables dotted the floor. Smooth wooden straight lined chairs with padded bottoms completed the look. Off to the right of the building you could see the cook and his staff as they worked. Above all of this were simple glass light inclosed lights that hang from the metal ceiling.
The hostess smiled, asked their name, and showed them to a booth off to the side wall away from the kichen. A tall red head with a slim figure and a skilled smile came to take the men's orders.
"Hello, my name is Terri. What would you like to drink?"
"I'll have a burbon on the rocks miss Terri and my friend here will have a Apple Martini..."
"What? No, no, thats not what I want." the blonde called out.
Tobie turned to the woman with heat rising in his cheeks.
"If you have bottled Corona that would be fine Terri." The young woman nodded her head and gave them a strange look as she walked off.
Tobie turned back toward the other man to find him staring back with a shadowed look in his eyes. The look was quickly replace by a grin that made him look like a creepy old man.
"Why'd you order for me and what would make you think I wanted that?"
"I'm sorry Tobie. I must have forgoton who I was with for a minute. I tend to order for my dates and ..."
"and...what? I remind you of the girls you date? That's just wrong man."
"No. I have dated men also." This caused Tobie to stare and stare and stare.
"Does that surprise you?"
'Hell yeah it does' "No, not really I guess"
Later that evening…
Tobie was waiting for Brian to finish getting something to drink for the both of them for the movie. The blonde wasn’t sure he really wanted to go into a dark room with the older man.
He was starting to have his doubt about Brian’s motives for this outing. After Brian's revelation thing were a bit forced but as the food and drinks flowed they loosened up.
Brian hadn’t touched him since the walk to the restaurant door, but every once in a while Tobie would see the other man looking at him from out of the corner of his own eye as they ate dinner. He had to fight to keep from blushing, not always being able to.
Tobie still couldn’t believe he was blushing because of a guy looking at him. It wasn’t just the looking, although that was enough, but the intensity of them. Tobie slowly began to relax and ignore the looks and the evening went along a lot better.
The food had been good and he and Brian had talked a little about their jobs and Tobie’s classes. Brian asked him about his hobbies and interest. He said it was so he could see if Tobie and Chris had anything in common, but as the night wore on Brian didn’t seem to be asking questions for Chris’s sake.
Brian slowly began to walk over to Tobie. As he walked he began to think of what kind of man Tobie was from the conversations they had earlier that night. What kind of man pretends to be gay to be able to live with a girl he thinks he loves? Brian figured that was one of the only reasons Tobie had told such a strange lie. It doesn’t make much since when you think about it. He must have been desperate at the time. He must really think he loves Mika.
(Mental sigh) 'I wish I had someone who thought they wanted to be with me that much, even if they didn’t.' It was true that Brian and Mika were together, and Mika was a great girl, but they both knew they weren't in love. They found each other attractive and generally liked to be around each other, except there was no deep love link to keep them together as lovers.
Brian was so caught up in thought that he ran into Tobie and almost spilled the drinks on them both.
“Watch out Brian. Are you okay?” The younger man smiled as he took the drinks out of the frowning man’s hands. “I think I’ll hold these till we get inside, alright?”
'Tobie looks even better with a smile on his face. I wonder what he’d do if I kissed him.' Brian‘s inward smile made it slowly on to his face.
Tobie noticed the smile as it crept up and moved to his eyes. Brian got an impish glint in them as he looked the other man over.
As the door of the movie room closed Brian made his move.
Tobie backed a step away from him but it was no use. He hit the wall on the side of the seats. He was pushed farther against the wall and his hands, which still held the drinks, were held up on either side of his head against the wall. The smaller man tried to move the rest of his body, nevertheless it was held by the weight of the bigger man pressed against him. The blonde could feel the taller man's hips press against his own. Brian’s face was so close to Tobie's that he could feel warm breath on his lips. His captor looked at him with the same smile he’d worn as they entered the theater. Tobie’s legs began to tremble as another leg slided between them. Instinctively he moved a little more toward the cause of his dilemma. 'What the hell am I doing? First I blush at a look, now I’m shaking at his breath on me. Shit! I’ve got to get away from him.'
“Come on man, let me go right…” Before he could finish his sentence his mouth was pressed possessively against Brian’s.
“Mm…Mmm…Mmmm…what?”
The movement it took to say that word was what the other man had been waiting for. He slid his tongue past Tobie’s lips and began to explore. 'Mmmmm…he tastes good.' Brian could taste the spices of Tobie’s dinner mixed with a taste that could only be Tobie. 'I’m going to have to do this again soon.' Brain smiled as he let his weight against him push Tobie harder against the wall.
Tobie felt the smile come across Brian’s face through the kiss. When he finally recovered from being kissed by another man, his crushes boyfriend no less, Tobie knew he couldn’t let this guy keep kissing him like this. Shifting his right leg around, Tobie attacked.
One minute Brian was moaning and enjoying kissing a helpless Tobie and the next he was on the ground moaning in pain with his hands between his legs.
Tobie was breathing hard as he set the sodas, which had been numbing his hands unoticed, in front of Brian. Then, he bent on his hands and knees and whispered in Brian’s ear.
“I won’t tell Mika what you just did, but don’t ever kiss me again with out my permission.”
It wasn’t the words that made Brian look up into those large dark shifting pools of green, but the low emotionless tone did. “Please take me home now, or I’ll call a cab. I’m not in the mood for a movie any more.” Tobie walked out the door. Brian looked up and frowned as he realized they had caught some of the other movie goers’ attention.
He quickly walked out the door.
They walked to the car in silence. Both lost in their own thoughts.
'I can't belive the jerk kissed me. He must be really wasted to have done that.' From what Tobie knew of the man he didn't seem to be a cheater.
'I’d better say I’m sorry. I guess I took my joke to far too quick. After all it was just a joke.' As Brian looked at Tobie absorbed in thought he realized that he had honestly begun to like the man. With that stupid move Tobie might leave and he’d never see those soft green eyes gazing up at him again. He couldn’t let that happen. Brian stopped in his tracks and called out to Tobie.
The look on Tobie’s face made his heart skip a beat. Tobie’s emerald eyes were almost black and his hair was slightly messed up from having been pressed up against the wall. He still seemed to be flushed from the kiss. Brian could only stare at how breathtaking the other looked at that moment.
“What is it, and stop looking at me like that.”
Those words brought Brian back from his daydream and he put both hands in front of him in surrender.
“I’m sorry Tobie. I didn’t mean to kiss you like that back there.” An eyebrow lifted at this and its owner began to turn around. “Wait, really. I was just messing around with you and some how it got out of hand.” Tobie looked him in the eyes.
“What do you mean just messing with me?”
Brian looked at him for a minute and thought better of telling the truth. If he told the truth now Tobie would defiantly leave and never look back. So, he told a lie instead. “I'm a bit drunk and a stupid idea came into my head. Without thinking it though I kissed you. I’m sorry if I made you upset. I hope you will forgive me for it. I think Chris would like you and I think you would be good for Mika and me.
Tobie took this all in. 'So, I was right when I thought he was drunk.' Somehow this news made Tobie slightly sad, but he pretended not to notice the feeling.
“Ok, I forgive you.” A strange look played across Brian’s face and made the confused man say, “I won’t tell Mika what happened so lets just put it behind us, ok?” Tobie stepped slowly up to Brian and put his hand out.
“Let’s just start this all over. My name is Tobie.”
Brian reached out his hand to Tobie, and with his sexist smile took it.
“Nice to meet you Tobie, My name is Brain."
How's the flow of this story going? I was going to break it up into two chapters but it seem too short so i threw it all together. Was the kiss ok? Love feedback so bring it!!!
Peace and Love :)
