Waking up Vampire

Chapter3: Waking up vampire

Alexanders eyes became heavy and weak with each excruciating suck from the Master. The pain alone made him want to dig his nails into the metal table and he could feel the blood leaving his body. He became numb and weak, no longer able to speak or think for that matter. He quietly waited for death.

The color of blood was red. That's all Alexander could think about as he struggled to find himself within his thoughts. He heard echoes that seemed distant and they all said the same thing. The color of blood was red.

Alexander woke up, but couldn't focus his vision. He wanted to look at everything, see everything. He couldn't feel his heart beat within his chest. He felt hollow on the inside. He felt like a shell of who he used to be.

"I...I cant...I cant see," he thought, head moving back and forth, eyes closed. Legolas stood over him, running his cold fingers through he boys now long blond hair.

Alexander was sweating yet his skin was ice cold.

Legolas knew that Alexander would be a fledgling until he himself developed a taste for blood and would have to keep him isolated from his own sons until then. A coven of young vampires always had intense blood lust for fledglings, especially one that was so accessible.

Legolas quickly looked down when he saw Alexander move. He was relieved when the boys eyes opened, revealing now, more vibrant green orbs. Alexander looked bewildered and attempted to sit up, but failed to do so. He collapsed back onto the metal table.

"What's going on?" Alexander said hoarsely. His mouth bled from where his teeth had nipped his lips while he was asleep or more accurately, dead. He looked up and saw Legolas standing over him. He immediately began to panic.

"What did you do to me? Ah my neck!" Alexander said reaching up to touch the place where he had been bitten. Heavy bandages covered the still fresh wound. The memories came flooding back from the previous night, or so he thought. It had been days since Alexander had been alive.

"You are a member of this family now. Your are a fledgling vampire," Legolas said pacing back and forth while Alexander watched. Alexander felt his heart drop in his chest.

"Vampires don't exist...this can't be real...am I still asleep?" Alexander said jumping to his feet as if he had been able all along. He searched the room for a mirror and when he finally found one he was shocked at what he saw. He lifted his lip slightly to reveal two small, but sharp fangs. He noticed his lip was swollen also from biting down accidentally.

"It'll take you a couple months to get used to your new teeth. I suggest you keep strenuous yelling to a minimum," Legolas said.

"No...no this can't be..." Alexander said, running his fingers through his hair. He hadn't noticed before, but his short hair was now shoulder length. He never liked having long hair. It made him appear girlish.

Alexander didn't want to admit it, but he blamed himself for all this. He was disobedient and mean to his foster parents and this was just karma getting back at him.

"Why This?" Alexander said. He didn't feel like himself. He felt like he was trapped in someone's body with no way out. It all just felt nightmarish.

"You are a part of a grand family now Alexander. Your are forever bound to me, to this house." Legolas said placing his hands on either side of Alexanders shoulders as if his words brought him comfort. He shivered not use to the feeling of his Master's icy cold palms against his own icy cold skin. Although he couldn't remember ever having a real family, deep down he was excited to know that someone actually wanted him despite the circumstances.

"Why me?" Alexander asked. Legolas knelt down and placed his hand on the boy's face.

"You, my Alexander, are a reincarnation of my former fledgling boys Alex and Able. Everything about you, your scent, your face...," Legolas said. As he spoke his fingers explored Alexanders gentle features. "Your beautiful eyes, your lips...everything"

Alexander, startled by Legolas's sudden interest in his face, backed away. He wasn't comfortable with Legolas's intimate touch.

Legolas returned to his feet and regained his composure, face becoming stern. He knew that he had to be stern with the boy from the beginning to sway any future disobedience.

"In this house we have rules. These rules are the backbone of this entire establishment and shall not be broken. Breaking my rules will result in punishment," Legolas said. "Do you understand?"

Alexander was silent. He didn't want Legolas to think that he was too easily coaxed into doing what he wanted. He knew that if he remained stern from the beginning, he could sway any commanding behavior. He knew that Legolas wasn't his real father and refused to bow down to the kidnapping maniac.

"Do you understand?" Legolas repeated.

"You kidnapped me, attacked me, turned me into a vampire and now your lecturing me about rules and disobedience?" Alexander said smartly. As he spoke he could feel the adrenaline run through him, the power. He could feel a big portion of his timidity, his apprehensiveness slipping away. He imagined it slipping down his legs and onto the floor.

Legolas knew that with such a huge physical transformation came a new attitude along with it for some fledglings. Alexander was getting to be a little more difficult than he had expected, but it didn't bother him much. The sweet, timid boy he met at the park was dissapearing behind a new, more outspoken one, but under him anyone could be broken.

"Have a seat Alexander," Legolas said. He pulled a chair from behind himself and sat it in the middle of the floor. Alexander backed away.

"Why? What are you going to do?" Alexander asked.

"Sit." Legolas said again. Alexander was feeling himself, his power. His heart hated it, but his mind enjoyed the feeling. He knew he shouldn't have been enjoying this, but he was.

"No...I want to go home..." Alexander said. "I want to go back to my foster family. I'll call the police and have you arrested!"

Legolas giggled at that. Alexander didn't yet gavc a true realization of who he or himself was.

"The Police you say?" Legolas said. "You'll only be getting the police in trouble."

Alexander was coming down off of his power high. The timidity and apprehensiveness was returning slowly but surely. He was remembering the things he had read about vampires and how their super strength and mental abilities could easily overpower a human. He felt hopeless now, and trapped in a situation he couldn't get himself out of. His heart started beating fast, pupils dilated, hand balled into fist at his sides.

"Take me home!!!" Alexander yelled, running from the room and frantically looking for a way out. Any way out would do.

"Alexander I dont think you'll find that this behavior will pay off in the end," Alexandro said, following the boy on his tirade.

"Ahhhhh! Somebody help! somebody help!" Alexander said, but his energy suddenly plummeted and he couldnt stop his body from doubling over.

"You need blood..."Legolas said grabbing Alexander's shoulder. Alexander pulled away and tried to continue on his tirade, but his body didnt have the strength. Legolas lifted Alexander and put him over his shoulder like a child.

"Get off of me! Put me down! Why are you doing this?!" Alexander nearly screamed.
"You need blood." Legolas said. "Its why I wanted you to sit down earlier. Once your first adrenaline rush fades away your body grows weak, and although you do not yet crave blood for yourself your body does need it."

"I don't drink blood....never...will" Alexander said struggling to speak. His throat felt weak along with the rest of his body. He hated the feeling of helplessness.

"You don't have a choice in the matter. This is for your benefit as well as the rest of ours considering that a fledgling craving for blood is almost always fatal on your part," Legolas said. He sat Alexander down in the chair he had refused before.
Alexander felt that him even having a small taste of blood signified that he was fully a vampire even if all other previous factors had already signified his new vampire status.

"Thats... disgusting..."Alexander said. He saw the small vile of blood Legolas had gotten from somewhere in the room and it made him sick to his stomach.
Legolas didn't waste any time, but quickly held Alexander still to administer the treatment. He grabbed Alexander's jaw and squeezed to force it open, Alexander screaming at the top of his lungs. The strength of Legolas was impossible to counter with his own. Although he was a vampire he was no where near as strong as an elder such as Legolas.

"Please...I'll do it myself!" Alexander tried to yell. Legolas's method was too painful.

"One chance," Legolas said. He released Alexander, but remained in front of him. He handed him the small vile of blood.
Alexander put the vile to his lips as if to begin to drink, but suddenly tossed it across the room. He hadn't expected it to, instead of shatter, float in mid air.

"We do not waste blood in my home, but now that I see I can't trust you this will continue to be the method I use. Pain equals compromise," Legolas said grabbing Alexander's jaw once again. He forced it open despite Alexander's refusal and easily let the blood slip down his throat. Once the vile was empty he held his mouth shut to keep him from spitting.
Alexander gagged, but knew that if he didn't swallow soon he would be nauseated for the rest of the day. He forced the slimy, coppery substance down his throat and fought the urge to vomit.

"Sit here for the rest of the night. I'll be back in the morning," Legolas said. He left the room and the 10 small clinks let Alexander know just how trapped he was in that room, the now pitch black room. He let his body fall to the floor, ignoring the voices in his head. The color of blood was red...the color of blood was red...
