Speak To Me
"So."
His eyes glow a violent red in the shade of the olive trees.
"I hear they left on a train for Spain. I hear they\'re never coming back again." His companion says, fingers restless, eyes closed, posture an art in tense stillness.
"I hear you were going with them, yet you stand before me with your blue eyes hidden and your blond hair a mess; I heard you were going to elope and now you keep your distance from a man decades your senior with hands that itch to touch." His voice is plain, but his words sear deep and painful.
They hadn\'t noticed the smoke disappearing in the distance as the next train left.
"You make assumptions, so many assumptions." Blue eyes open in defiance and almost shut again at the sight of him. "You assume I long for your callous words and broken feelings; you assume I desire to be led on by a man who\'s heart is as rough as his disdainful, cruel wit."
He says nothing. He rises, his savage sense of wit for once restrained. Arms reach out and harsh breathing passes by the olive trees. Bodies touch and hold.
And he knows, they both know.
"Don\'t let go."

Challenge. Should have been roughly 50% dialogue.
