Dark Rose

The Costa Club’s slide entrance opened allowing a skinny young man of twenty five. He had just finished cleaning his glasses and was just putting it on, when he realized he forgot his jacket inside the staff room of the club. The wind was blowing, making his short brown hair flow into his brown eyes.

He was scrawny. And in the red eyes that was lurking in the dark alley, perfect. Just for tonight, the man would play the perfect role in his game. He could feel the blood swell in between his legs, rubbing his c*ck right up against the hard material of his jeans. The small light that was used by the club for its side walkway, reflected against gleaming sharp teeth.

As the man, once again, walked out the side door, this time texting his girlfriend as he goes. He headed straight for the alley way, for he always walked home from work and that was a shortcut to get to his street.

As he walked closer to the middle of the alleyway, the stranger came into view, with his back leaning on its walls. His red and gold locks hung from his face and covered his eyes. The man began to feel a little nervous, but despite his better judgment, he continued down the alley.

“Hello there, Locke” whispered the stranger, stopping him with a hand on his shoulder.

“Ah, excuse me….my name is Allen, not Locke. You mu…must..ahhh mis mistaken me for some….someone else” the last few words came out with a squeak.

He was now petrified, as the hand began to squeeze just a little too hard.

“Awww, don’t be like that, my love. At least, I’m not those bounty hunters that would sell you or any of your group to the highest bidder. I truly love you. Even as scrawny as you are, and the fact that Satan wants as a bedmate made you irresistible to most people. But for me, I just want to dominate you”

“Shit, man!! I’m not this Locke dude!” Allen’s voice was now at fear pitch.

The poor man’s eyes were wide open, showing all the whites. He knew one thing: this guy was a psychopath. He didn’t know where Locke was, but it seemed that he and his friend have gotten themselves in deep shit yet again. But it doesn’t matter right now, right now he need to save himself. This innocent act was not working. Oh well, he was tired of keeping his front up.

This guy had just taken a bite too big for him to chew. He may not be a Dark Child, but he knew about them. After all, he, himself was not a mere human. He was a Light Child. Or what we call an angel.

His appearance was guise. He was down here as a Messenger of God. His task was to seek out the very person that he was mistaken for. He was only down on Earth for a week, he knows, but he still had no clue where they are hiding. But then, if he couldn’t find them, at least that mean that Satan and now the new player in this game could have the same problem.

It might just be a good thing for the highest profile group to stay low. He was, after all, down here to tell them about the traitor, the angel called “Dark Rose”, the only half angel in heaven. This angel seemed to be determined in the act of dethroning both Satan and God, so that he could rule all three realms. It could seem that he thinks that Locke and his group are the key element to his success. Especially Sebastian and Locke, the winged duo, the substitute angel and demon, were the two main pieces of this game. Both as prizes and prawns, no, not prawns, they are equivalent to the king and queen, capture them and you win the game.

And God, Satan and now, Dark Rose know that all too well.

Hell, they know that themselves, why else did they ally themselves with the Night Children, the neutral party? The Night Children Council had promised them an invisible shield that hides them from both angels and demons.

Now, how would he deal with this? He could not kill this ma…..vampire – ah there the fangs and red eyes, and of course that strength. Okay, now. Do he want kill this insect, or use him as bait?

Bait or not? He was about to rape Allen if he didn’t decide quickly.

Bait. That would be much better. So without much ado, he touched just one point at the neck, to knock the red head out. He had been trained to human karate after all. Not one minute too soon, he did not want the Night Children to alert of his presence, they must not be any wiser till he can get hold of “The Children of Prophecy” and inform them of the situation. He did not want them to go into further hiding.

They already made it clear that they want nothing to do with either demons or angel. They will remain on earth as simple beings of the Night Children’s race, was their statement in from of God five years ago.

Ah well.

He took out his phone and rang the one number he knew could get this guy behind bars, in the dark dungeons of Duke Monte, the head vampire here.

“Oh, hello there, David, do you have a spare room in that special underground hotel of yours?”

It was 9 o’clock in the morning, and Sebastian was in the slums of the town, getting frisky with a little slim blonde.

“Harsh is this world hates me so

Fighting a war I could not understand

Deep within my emotions and pain

I had no will to live no more”

Ah, Illaro’s voice meant a call. Sebastian flick his phone open.

“There was another two cases. But get this, it happen simultaneously. So there were two culprits. One, I think would be more the copy cat has been knocked out and sent to Duke Monte’s dungeon.”

“By whom?”

“That the problem. They won’t talk or give us clues. How is your spying going?”

“Nowhere.”

“Maybe, we should meet up tonight.”

“Fine at 8 o’clock, at your house.”

Now he was confused. Two culprits? One real and one a copycat?

“Harsh is this….”

Damn, who else is this?

“Seb…its Cole. My ‘friends’ had just informed me that we are hot topics on the Underground’s website. Apparently there are prices on our heads. But don’t worry it seems they want us alive….as property, slave, bed mates and the list goes on. There was a private enterprising group wanting to auction us off to the highest bidder. You and Locke are top of the list.”

“Shit!” was all he could say.

“Oh by the way, on the website, someone has uploaded our photographs…..in our true form.”

“Shit!”
