A.N.: Oh. My. Gosh. The uploader for the chapter has changed so much 0.0 Well here we go. Not only a (crappy) update but reviewer responses! I either had t do it on DA or LJ so I went with the one I figured more people would have. Just use the link below. Now on to the story.
http://noonetells.livejournal.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Who Doesn’t Love A Good Fairytale?Ch.3: Pin Cushions and Feather Dusters
Many among us have heard words to the tune of ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.’ Many have also heard the warnings of ‘Never agitate a mother with fang or claw.' So now… Imagine just how much worse those flames of rage must be, when they are emanating from the form of a vixen, who not only feels betrayed but also feels the need to nurture another, that has been tainted?
“YOU IMBECILE!” Koga’s head was spinning so fast he wasn’t sure which sound had been louder. The scream Universe let loose when they were far enough out? Or the sickening crack that had been her flipping him over her shoulder and slamming him to the ground? Her words were echoing around the quiet wooded area they had stopped in. Or were they just echoing around in Koga’s head? He couldn’t tell.
“Alright Universe. It is only due to the huge amount of respect that I have for you, and our past, that I’m staying on my back and am willing to hear you out about why you thought trying to kill me was such a good idea!” His words were strong, sure, a little cocky, and based on the wheeze at the end, a complete lie.
Universe looked down her nose at him and her eyes burned and shifted like fire pits. She scrunched her nose up in anger. The action caused the light white marks on her face to bring a more fury and animalistic look forth. Universe rolled her shoulders and spoke in a near wild tone, “Don’t take me for a fool Koga! I am neither my mother, nor my father. So I won’t be treated like either.”
Koga sat up with a bit of difficulty and winced when he felt his back pop. “You know foxy, as much as I love the ruff sex that the angry talks about your parents always leads to, I don’t think my little thumper would appreciate us going at it.”
She crossed her arms, hiding her dusky nipples and tapped her claws on her upper arm where her hand sat. “And that’s the problem, isn’t it Koga?”
Koga cocked his head and his left ear flipped back. Then with a smirk, he said, “Oh don’t tell me dumb and dumber were right! Are you really jealous over my little fluffer, foxy?” He didn’t have time to bask in the glory of being so wanted before Universe knocked him back to earth. Literally. Koga opened his eyes seeing stars. So he closed his eyes and let Universe’s voice distract him from the spinning.
Universe looked at him with a hint of pity, that she squished by snorting. “Please. Don’t flatter yourself. You know as well as I do that my brothers are dumb as stumps, when they choose to be. And they ALWAYS choose to be. The problem has more to do with your actions. You CARE Koga. Just now, you did it again. You thought about how Paddle-” Koga cut in, “ SADDLE.” Without missing a beat Universe continued, “Ya see! You even care about his name. You never care about people’s names! But that’s not even the problem!” Koga hummed and said, “No? Then do tell. What is?”
Universe walked up to Koga and planted one foot by his arm. Then she planted the other on top of his chest and his eyes snapped open. Universe leaned over, with her arm resting on her bent knee, to look him in the eye. “You. Marked. Him.” Koga rolled his eyes before speaking. “Bull. All I did was-” Universe applied just enough pressure with her foot to stop his words. “Was scent mark him. The first step in a mating marking. How many years have we spent rutting together during the mating seasons, Koga? To damn many to count! And how many times did you ever scent mark me? Answer? NEVER. And don’t think I didn’t notice the marks forming on his neck. Four small hickys in a circular shape leaving a clear center spot in the middle? Come on Koga! Don’t lie to me! Stop and think about what you’re doing!”
Koga looked like a deer caught in head lights. He hadn’t even thought about it. He had just acted as his instincts had driven him. But she was right. As always. Koga was preparing Saddle for a mate marking. And he hadn’t even realized it. Koga couldn’t fight the impulse to smack himself.
“Oh my god… you didn’t know… YOU DIDN’T KNOW?!” Universes arms dropped to her side’s and she looked rather slack jawed. The fox closed her eyes, shook her head and took a few steps away from her fallen friend. “Koga, you have to do something about this.”
Koga sat up and had a look in his eyes that only a true predator could posses. “I won’t kill him foxy. That’s out of the questions. That’s the whole reason I’ve refused to steal leaf eaters all theses years, despite what the others around here wanna think. I won’t make Saddle suffer more because of my moment of weakness. ”
Universe turned to face him with her head tilted to the side and both of her ears lifeless. “Do you think I don’t know that already? And considering how long I bet it took to catch him, I doubt it was just a MOMENT of weakness. But come on Koga, what are you going to do with him? You can’t let him go. You know what that could lead to. What actions like that have lead to before.” Universe took a moment to harden her teary eyes before she continued. “And he’ll be useless once your heat is over. It only last 2 months Koga, and that’s it. It’s over. And how would the others in the area act if they found out you were keeping him like… like some sort of pet. This won’t end well buddy boy.”
Canine ears angled back in anger and annoyance. Koga knew this whole thing was doomed from the start. He hadn’t needed Universe to tell him that. Yet still… he felt justified in his actions. Koga was one of the few he knew of that fallowed his instincts without doubt. And in all his life they had never really steered him wrong. So when he had seen something he wanted, and then heard that voice in his head tell him to hurry and take it before someone else beat him to it… How could he not have?
“I don’t know what you want me to do foxy but-” Before Koga could finish his sentence a shadow glided overhead. They both should have kept talking but then the shadow circled back. The two furred beings made quick dives for the bushes and trees just a few feet away and held there breath. There was no telling what it was that had spotted them. And if the thing that made the shadow was stopping to investigate them, then it was either very foolish or thought itself strong enough to take on two meat eaters at once. Either way it was best to err on the side of safety.
Koga let out a shallow breath and took a few sniffs. Koga’s body went completely lax and he started to laugh as he climbed out from under his bush. “KOGA! Don’t, you fool!” Universes voice was ignored as Koga looked up, on his belly, half under a bush and said, “Hey!”
Shimmering eyes hidden by dark shades, framed by dark markings and glorious feathers stared down at Koga. The other male gave a small hum. “Do wonders never cease. How are you Koga? And… why are you under a bush, may I ask?”
Universe was quick to make her appearance at the friendly ton. But as soon as she saw the mass of white feathers Universe lifted her lip in a snarl and hissed out “Feather duster.” Then the fox set Koga with a glare before stalking off without another word to him.
“So Apowl, you old google eyes you. Have I ever told you how amazing your timing is?” Koga asked as he let his head fall back to the dirt.
“I think it has been said before. Mainly when that… pin cushion… has been around. I take it she is why you were under the shrubbery? I know the heat is painful without calming herbs but do try to control yourself out of your den my friend. At least in my presences?”
Koga rolled over, looked up at Apowl and laughed. “No, the whole being under a bush thing was more your fault. But I think I should go give chase now. Foxy’s pissed enough at me as it is. No need to let her stew in it and fan the flames.”
Apowl could have rolled his eyes but found the action unneeded to convey his feelings. Not to mention rather pointless since his goggles made seeing his eyes hard. The old owl asked, “How is that different then any other day?” As Koga got up and dusted himself off he said, “Oh trust me my friend, it just is. I really should get going after her before she dose something stupid. But I have to ask, why are you out here? I thought you had that little place of yours finished up? The one past the border? With how long it took you get everything ready and all, I figured you wouldn’t be back until the heat cycle had ended.”
Apowl lifted a feathered arm and readjusted his goggles. Looking up at the sky he spoke, “Just passing by. Having a look around. Saying goodbye to old lost souls. And new ones too.” Koga snorted as he shook his head. “And there you go being all creepy and cryptive again. It’s nice to see you Beecky but I really do have to go after Foxy now. Will I see you after the breeding season’s passed?” Apowl pursed his lips and gave a little nod. Then with a few flexes of his mussels, a might kick off with both legs, and a wave, Apowl was up in the sky and moving away.
Koga stared at the sky even after Apowl had vanished into the horizon. He looked at his feet as he shuffled along back to his den. The owl had been… off… somehow. The way he was acting. The way he spoke. He hadn’t been like that since he had come back years ago in near tears over loosing his intended mate. Whenever Apowl came to the area he always insisted on a sit down to see how things were going in the area. Wanting to know what plans the meat eaters had in the works. And the flyer NEVER came during the breeding season anymore. Something was wrong with that old bird…
In creatures like wolves the brain may be keen, but the nose is more so. Dogs have been known to fallow a scent until they either find what they are tracking or die in the process. And salt is a hard scent to miss even for humans.
Koga’s nose gave a twitch and his eyes focused on the entrance to his cave. There was a salty twang on the air. The feel of tears teasing the nose… oh, how impossible to ignore, for a hunter like himself. But the problem was that the only person that was likely to be making the tears in his home, was the one person Koga didn’t want to cry unless HE was causing the tears.
The wolf barreled into his cave like a nightmare creature from a fairytale. And Koga’s reactions to what he saw made him appear even more monstrous. Saddle, HIS Saddle, was sandwiched between Lock and Key as they coddled the little lop ear. Universe was kneeling next to them soothing Saddle and running her fingers along his scalp and over his ears.
The menacing growling started as a thundering sound right from the get go. Lock and Key froze and then locked eyes with each other over Saddle’s head. Universe spoke without missing a stroke, “Brothers, why don’t you go on out and head to the wading pool and wash up. You both reek of hormones.” The twins nodded at each other and broke away from the boy in there arms. Then the two skidded out of the entrance when Koga fixed them both with a steady ruby red glare. Once they were gone Koga returned his view to the ones remaining in his territory. Saddle was only sniffling softly by that point but he was leaning heavily on Universe. With how they were sitting his head was nestled against her bare chest and Koga was not happy about that sight.
Koga started to stalk forward but Universe halted his steps with ease. “DON’T Koga. I’m in no mood for it right now. And I don’t think you want little Saddle here to get hurt by being in the middle of a pointless fight that you were to stupid to prevent.” At Koga’s name Saddle lifted his head and his big eyes shimmering with tears were just to much for him to bare. Ignoring Universe completely Koga walked over and sat behind Saddle. One of the bunnies ears was cocked, confused as to Koga’s intent. When he was lifted up away from the fox that was comforting him and onto Koga’s lap both ears shot up in confusion.
A husky voice whispered to Saddle, “You ok Fluffer?” Unsure of what words would come out of his mouth if he opened it, Saddle just nodded his head. “Good. Foxy, I think you can leave now. And be sure to keep those fools of yours under control will ya?” Universe stood and said one word. “No.” Koga’s grip tightened on his little one. “Wasn’t a suggestion Fox.”
The female shifted her weight on her feet as she rested a hand on her hip. “You want to wash up kid?” The bunny hybrid looked up at her then down at his body, purposely ignoring the two well muscled arms around his waist. Saddle took a sniff. Oh my. He was a bit ripe. His mother would have his hide if he had ever tried to go in the house smelling like musk and semen and tears and… and… He suddenly just wanted a bath. He mustered up his courage and said as loud as he could, “Yes, please.”
“You see. We all need a good washing. So come on. Both of you. I’m sure with how Lock and Key play around they aren’t anywhere near done yet. Don’t even give me that look Koga. Now matter how much I want to stay here and try to fix everything that looks wrong to me, I really don’t have the time. We all need to just wash up. Or do I need to be walking around with my brothers, with the three of us smelling of you… and your little toy… around everyone else?” Universe stared off sounding frustrated. Only to end up sounding broken and disheartened. Universe rubbed her closed eyes with her thumb and fingers.
Koga rolled his eyes and his perked ears relaxed a bit. But he didn’t release his little captive. Leave it to Universe to see how the universe could screw you over so easily. If her heat hadn’t been bearing down on her so hard, he was willing to bet her explanation would have been more fluent and her words more carefully chosen. But well worded or not her logic was unarguable. The big bad looking wolf stood and took his prey with him. Saddle didn’t get a chance to put his feet flat on the ground. As it turned out Koga wasn’t planning on letting them do that just yet. Instead he jerked Saddle up into the air and swiftly swung his arm down and caught the boy around the shoulder and between the crook of his knees. Then proceeded to carry the little bunny out bridal style. Universe followed, chuckling with every step and every darkened shade of blush that graced the leaf eaters cheeks.
They reached a narrow river not even 300 yards from Koga’s den. And the sight they came across brought forth groans for more then one reason.
“Gah! Lock! Key! Knock it off!” Universe slapped a hand over her eyes as she muttered, “Like our family isn’t screwed up enough.” The twins sat, looking completely unashamed, as they jerked each other off on the rocky riverbed.
Saddle was one shocked little bunny. He didn’t come back to himself enough to notice he had been set back on his feet until he felt Koga thrust against him from behind. And due to the wolves loosened grip on his prey the shocked little bunny was able to do what bunnies do best when frightened. Run. Blindly.
Right into two predators. Saddle surely would have gone head first into the river as he tripped, had the twins arms not stopped his decent.
Lock ran a hand over one of Saddles quivering ears as Key spoke, “Easy little guy. We gotcha.” Neither was clear headed enough, with the heat beating down on them, to remember Koga.
“And you had better let him go.” Koga was far from willing to trust the boys he looked at as brothers with what he considered his, on a normal day. Let alone when they both had eyes that were ablaze with the red rings of heat. Four hands roaming over his lithe body had poor Saddle’s heart nearly raising up his throat.
Two more hands came out of nowhere on either side of the lop ear’s body. Then his supports where falling into the water and taking him with them. Just as Saddle was surfacing he heard the splash of someone else falling in right next to him. As the young one wiped the water from his face he focused on Universe taking her fur wrap off before entering the water.
As the female waded in one of her brothers spoke rather darkly to her. “That wasn’t right sis.” She raised her head to look at the clouds and said, “Neither was what you two were doing. Besides now that we’ve all had a nice dip and cooled down this heat business should all be a bit easier to bare… for the time being.”
A good sized little wave smacked Universe in the face, whipping her hair around her face in an ungraceful manner. Koga snorted after splashing her and mumbled, “Yeah, this whole thing would have been easier to bare if we had been BARE going in. Seriously Foxy, what did I do to earn getting tossed in head first and still dressed?”
The vixen fiddled with her wet and drooping ears as she said, “Oh I don’t know, looking at my brothers like they were food maybe?” Saddle was a bit speechless as to the goings on around him and so thought it best to just stay still and hope to not draw attention to him. A wide hand landing on his shoulder and then running up and down his arm told him he had failed. The voice in his ear was oddly calm sounding. “You ok Thumper?” Just as “thumper” found the courage to answer, a well placed kiss to the neck stole it all away. A small nod was the best he could do. As Saddle shivered Koga gave his bottom a light pat under the water and told him, “Hurry and wash up fluffer. We don’t want you to catch something from being in cold water to long.” The rest of the washing and ruff housing went off, for the most part, without a hitch. One or two splash attacks happened and when the twins almost pulled Saddle under, Koga decided that they were all clean enough to get out and get lost. Gathering of both wet and dry fur pelts was done with a tense air around the group. Koga took a nervous swallow before addressing the three foxes, “So. Is my secret safe with you? All of you?”
Lock and key turned their heads and twisted their ears towards each other before speaking in sync. “Whatever sister dearest thinks is best is what we’ll both go with we guess.”
Fighting the urge to roll his eyes Koga cocked an eyebrow at the topless girl before him. The lop eared boy just sat there shivering and wondering if there really was something going on between the two meat eaters that happened just between eyes. Or was his imagination playing ticks on his already overworked brain?
Universe broke the youngest ones nearly coma like state of thought with harsh non caring words, “As if I care what you screw or keep locked up in your cave.” And then she walked away with her arms crossed and two grinning and waving foxes behind her. Either Key or Lock, Saddle wasn’t sure which, yelled, “Have fun cutie! Be sure to keep our big bad wolf in his place, bunny boy!” Not knowing what else to do, little Saddle waved good bye back.
The wolf shook his head wildly in an attempt to dry his hair. Then he held out his clawed hand to the cotton tail on the ground. “Don’t worry Fluffer. Foxy may talk big but once you get to know her you can tell when she’s being serious and when she’s just upset at how things turn out. I wouldn’t let her walk away if she was going to say something that would put you in danger. I promise.”
Saddle was to upset to hear sincerity in his captors voice. He refused to take the helping hand before him and spoke to his feet. “Sure. I believe you. You know, you’re only the meat eater that kidnapped a-and…” Saddles voice broke for a moment before he continued, “And did dirty stuff to me. Why shouldn’t I put my faith in your judgment and your friends?”
Damn the way his little ones voice broke JUST SO was to much. Like his heat wasn’t bearing down on his fuzzy eared head enough! “Unless you want a ruff repeat performance I suggest you come on back to the den.”
Saddle didn’t raise his eyes as he grasped the hand before him and was pulled to his padded feet. “Good Thumper.” Said thumper turned scarlet in anger and shame. The color didn’t get the chance to fade as the pair entered the cave. And our big bad wolf made quick work of getting his prey on the plate.
Once the pale little morsel was spread out on the wolves makeshift bed Koga was between his spread legs, sucking away at a flaccid length set in a snowy blanket. After a full minute of work with no noticeable effect the canine grew angry and let out a growl. Yet the feared response he was expecting didn’t come. Instead of crying or trying to pull away the bunny boy’s breath hitched. Fighting the urge to smile and break his suction, Koga growled again. And Saddles response was more noticeable. Snow white trestles were flung back in a moan and leg mussels worked to try and close over an over stimulated private area.
When Koga determined the boy was to hot to consider running or saying no, he released the younger boy from his mouth. “You stay right there like a good little bed warmer or so help me I’ll tie you down and let you stay there with your little problem. And every time it starts to go down I’ll bring it right back up again. Over and over and over again. With no release in sight. We clear?” When the doe eyes met his gaze with a nod, Koga brought his hand up to give an approving rub to a limp ear.
Walking in long, fast strides it took only seconds to reach the back of the caves front section. Despite it being poorly lit so far back in the cave Koga found what he was seeking with no problems. Swatting many cobwebs away Koga set his glowing eyes on the target. Sitting on a shelf carved into the stone wall with many other old and dusty things, was a thick glass bottle with a greenish hue to it. Plucking the bottle from the old shelf the fanged male gave it a light toss into the air before snatching it back up with a grin.
The horny male, with eyes nearly completely red, made the return trip to the front of the cave in half the time it had taken to get to the back. And the sight that he met was worth its weight in gold. The little fluffer had apparently gotten tired of waiting. He was dearly tempted to scold the bad little bunny for not waiting for him to return before touching himself… But when the smell of the hormones hit Koga in the face he was lucky he had enough time to spill some of the bottles yellow-green colored liquid onto his cock before abandoning it in favor of his little one. Rabbit arms and legs welcoming him into a tight embrace was not what Koga thought would come. The action sling shot him over the edge and he slammed home with a howl.
Some small part of Saddle’s mind was saying ‘stop.’ Yet as he felt his body stretching and burring, he wouldn’t fathom why. It felt so good. And the weird haze that made his head feel like he was swimming just made it feel all the better. The mismatched eared body couldn’t comprehend what the wonderful pulling and pushing feeling was being caused by. So when it started to slow to a near stop Saddle wrapped his legs around the thing he figured was causing the feeling and tightened the grip in hopes that it would keep going.
Just a tiny sliver of yellow color was shinning past the dark red ring of heat glazed wolf eyes. What had started as ecstasy suddenly felt almost… wrong. Koga tried to come back to his mind as the sudden spike in his heat faded after entering Saddle. The boys head was tossed back. His face was flushed and he was nibbling on the end of one of his own ears. It was to sexy a sight to stop. Koga picked up his pace to not just match how fast he had been going before, but he exceed it.
Snapping his hips to and fro was all Koga could picture doing for the rest of his life with the warm inviting body beneath him. Oh god, the way the boy moaned. The way he tightened his legs to pull his body closer. Oh, the way those long ears quivered… It was to much. Plain and simple. Koga let go and just embraced his heat in a way that he had never done before, in all the times he had rutted to relieve the pain of his heat. And It was climatic…
Neither knew how long they had continued to go before cumming. The haze was mind numbing and overwhelming. And while half of our little duo was in a dozing heaven, the other half was coming around to turmoil.
It had happened again… and the poor little bottom had enjoyed it even more then the first time. God, Saddle couldn’t stand it. He was a traitor to everything he knew. He couldn’t deal with it. He couldn’t breath. Why was breathing suddenly so hard? Saddle was on the edge of yet another panic attack when clawed hands gripped his shoulders and pulled the weaker one onto a broad chest.
Koga wasn’t sure what to do. He liked to keep his life laid back and care free. So he had really screwed himself over by stealing the little one. And the only way he knew for sure to lighten the mood was to get people laughing… and how did you go about striking up a good conversation for laughs with the kid that saw you as his rapist and kidnapper??? While racking his brain for his next move, Koga ran his claws lightly up and down the cotton tails back and over his firm globes. Running the same trail time and time again was soothing.
Finally, when his nose couldn’t stand the smell of sadness and near turmoil coming from his bed warmer, our wolf bull dozed ahead and just went with whatever popped in his head.
It is almost amazing how easily teasing comes to predators in this wondrous world we live in. Even more amazing is how much like prey the predator often feels when resorting to such tactics. “You know kid, with a heat reaction that strong, I’m not sure if my glands are just that good or if you’re just growing up right in front of me. Or should I say below me? Hehehe Lets go with my bodies hormones are good at reeling them in, to give me an ego bust.” The wolf gave an exzarated wink that went unseen. “Hmm, that a no-go then Fluffer? Oh come on, I’m not that bad am I? And even if I am wouldn’t it be smarter to try and make me happy vs. making me work for it so I don’t grow annoyed with you?” The larger thought the smaller understood the joke… Until the smaller gave another little sob and tried to curl into a ball.
He really could have just smacked himself in that moment. But lucky for Koga, Saddle opened his mouth and saved him the headache. “I’m a traitor. I can never go home now… Not like you’d ever even let me. I miss home… And I don’t want to like it when you touch me. I don’t like it. I don’t wanna like it. I don’t wanna betray mama. I don’t. I don’t.”
Wait, so that was it? The rabbit thought he was a traitor? Because he liked it? Koga couldn’t have stopped the bark of a laugh that left his mouth if he had tried. He cuddled the other hybrid closer to him with another laugh, “HA! That’s to funny. Thumper, if anything’s a traitor here it’s nature. Not you. The hormones in my spit are what get you hot so fast. It’s the way our bodies are made to work. To make breeding easier. To make it feel better. That’s not your fault. I may not know much about you but I do know you’re not the traitorous type. Geeze kid didn‘t your mother ever give you the birds and the birds speech?”
Saddle cocked his head and looked up with watery eyes. “Birds and bees?” Koga snorted and said, “Never mind, it’s an old human saying. The point is you’re not a traitor. You’re just mine, and you’re reacting like it. Just like I like.” Koga ended the sentence with a gentle head butt to his bunny.
The boy wanted to believe the older male. Wanted desperately to not have to hate himself, but part of him was still unsure. With a little sniffle, Saddle said, “I know the basics of heat. I’ve just never heard of birds and bees being a talk for it before. You don’t have to talk to me like I’m a little kid. But… you said it yourself. You don’t know me. So how would you know what I’m like?”
Koga tapped his fingers in a line on Saddle’s back to give the impression that he was thinking. Trying his best to sound unsure, the pointy eared one spoke, “Well then, why don’t we fix that? Talk. Tell me about you.”
Saddle nibbled on the end of his brown ear as he gathered his wits to talk. The wolf wanted him to talk. And keeping him happy was a good idea if he was honest with himself. And it was a way to maybe make the meat eater see him as something living and not just something to be used and then disposed of. And maybe even a way to… “C-can I have some more food while I talk?” Saddle didn’t make eye contact when he made his request but Koga couldn’t find that as a reason to deny him the simple request when he looked so damned cute.
Not releasing the thumper from his grip, Koga sat up and looked around for the forgotten bowl of berries. Finding it mainly intact, it was grabbed. Settling back on his bed, Koga sat Saddle right on his lap and gave a playful thrust up into him, before setting the wood bowl near the hallow of his own throat. After giving an encouraging nod to begin, our lone wolf crossed his arms behind his head and relaxed. Waiting for the tale of his little ones life to begin left him feeling oddly… content. It was the only word Koga could think of to describe the calm he felt inside. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A.N: Ok there we go. I hope you all enjoyed it at least a little bit :) and I will see you wonderful readers and reviews when I get back from AMA this weekend!
