Chapter 2

The Dragon hissed. Skif was unsure if it was in annoyance of such a scrawny offering or if it was pleased with the thought of eating Skif in one tasty little bit. He really was not going to turn around again to check.

Skif didn’t have to wait very long to figure it out; he could feel the earth shake beneath his feet as the Dragon lowered itself onto its front legs. The Dragon took no time at all in placing its head right up behind Skif’s undefended back. He could feel the extreme heat of the dragon’s fire breath evaporate the sweat covering his body and nearly scorch the flesh on his back.

Skif bit his lower lip as he tried to hold back his whimper. He was resolved to go down like a man, despite the fact he was about to be eaten in a dress.

As if hearing this thought the Dragon suddenly grabbed the dress on either side of Skif and began pulling it out and away, tearing the semen-stained dress to shreds as if it were nothing. Skif could not stop himself from screaming out in surprise. ‘Well there goes the hope of dying like a man. At least I don’t have to meet my ancestors in a dress.’ The Dragon soon dealt with the confining corset, allowing Skif to breathe more freely.

Skif was now completely bare before the beautiful blue dragon that seemed so intent on eating him. One of the Dragon’s soft, scaly hands moved forward and easily lifted Skif up, pulling back to what Skif was sure to be a waiting mouth filled with large, pointy teeth. The manacles dug deep into the abused flesh of his wrists and his shoulders felt like they were being torn from his very sockets. Waves of pain coursed through Skif’s body, making him unable to hold back the river of tears.

Skif sobbed loudly as the dragon shoved its nose into Skif’s exposed back. As Skif struggled in the dragon’s grip, it felt like the dragon was using its own hot breath to cook him first.

When Skif was absolutely sure that his next stop would be the beast’s belly, the dragon released him. He was sent crashing headlong into the hard wooden stake. Unimaginable pain flowed through his brain, drowning out all the other pains of his poor body. Skif’s vision blurred a bit as the whole world began to spin. He could not support his own weight as he hung by his bleeding wrists.

He was so out of it that Skif didn’t even flinch when the Dragon threw back its head and deafened the world with a mighty roar. Skif thought the dragon would now just lean down and swallow him up. Much to his surprise the Dragon reached passed Skif and instead grabbed the damned wooden stake, wrenching it easily from the ground and taking a dangling Skif with it. Skif was even more mystified when the dragon bypassed his own mouth and instead laid the massive stake down under his pale blue belly; carefully enough to make sure Skif wasn’t under it.

The pain in his arms lessened as he lay next to the downed stake, but his head throbbing did not however. ‘Guess he only likes maidens. I hope he is not going to sit on me instead.’ His mind began to dim as physical and emotional exhaustion finally depleted his strength. Skif didn’t have the energy to fight to stay awake any longer. As his eyes slid slowly closed he could make out the figures of two Knights running toward the dragon above him. ‘Finally. Took them long enough. I hope they...’ The rest of his thoughts were lost as the deep spell of unconsciousness claimed him.

*****************************************************************************************************************

Kieran could see the Knights approaching from all sides. He knew he had only a few seconds before they were upon him. He quickly grabbed the stake his little carrier was bound to and tore the thing from the ground. He placed it beneath him as any good male dragon would do when protecting his young or mate. Any enemies would have to get through his massive claws, razor shape teeth and lethal whip tail to get near the little carrier. Not that he thought the Knights would try to harm the boy, but he might himself by accident. And a dead carrier can’t provide him with any young.

The tendril mind link that attached Kieran’s mind to Skif’s told him the boy had fainted from exhaustion, which eased his mind a little. ‘At least I won’t have to worry about him moving around or screaming while I’m fighting,’ Kieran thought as the first Knight came at him swinging a sword above his head. ‘Really now, don’t they even teach you Knights how to properly use those knightly weapons anymore? Oh well.’ Kieran swung his tail around, hitting the man in the side and sending him flying several feet away to land in a crumpled heap. The Knight was clearly out of commission for the moment, but like cockroaches Kieran knew he would be back in the fight soon.

Two more pesky Knights came at him from the right side, one carrying a swinging mace while the other dropped to his knee and aimed a crossbow right at his neck. The little arrow tickled a little as it reflected off his hard scales. Kieran chuckled a little, as his clawed hand shot out and grabbed the archer. He swung his hand with the archer into the mace man, knocking him across the field. Kieran was still holding the struggling archer when another Knight attacked his left back leg with a sword, causing his leg to buckle and nearly making him fall down.

Kieran managed to catch himself before he fell down and possibly squashed the unconscious boy beneath him.

Angered by the stupid human’s near fatal mistake, Kieran whipped around and grabbed the annoying human in his mouth by his head and torso before he had the chance to swing again. He shuck the struggling human in his mouth, enough to cause the human’s back break in several places, completely immobilizing him. At the same time, he squeezed the archer in his hand, breaking some ribs before dropping both of them on the ground.

Two more Knights came at him from the front, obviously trying to stab him in the heart, a mythical dragon weak spot. ‘Typical stupid humans.’ Kieran let them get close so they could try to plunge their swords deep into his chest, only to watch them deflect off the hardest of his dragon scales. No human ever survived with this knowledge to share it. But Kieran wanted his dinner alive and kicking, so instead of killing them he smacked their heads together knocking them out.

Kieran turned back to check on the first knight he had hit with his tail. Before the man had a chance to reach for his sword, which was lying not far from him, Kieran swiped him again, sending him flying into a rocky outcropping on the edge of the field. From the cracking sound Kieran’s ears picked up when the guy’s body hit, he wasn’t going anywhere.

No one else attacked Kieran as he scanned the surrounding area; before him laid five knights all unconscious. ‘Hmm. Missed one. Now where could he be…?’ The muggy breeze from the far end of the valley carried the scents of horses in panic as well as a terrified human. ‘Seems that one is trying to run away. Ummm, fast food.’ Kieran began beating his wings to build enough lift to get himself airborne; it always took longer from the ground than from using the momentum from just leaping off a cliff’s edge. Which made perfect sense to Kieran because he had wings shaped more for soaring and gliding rather than mostly powered flight.

Luck was with him as he managed to find a thermal, aiding him in getting to the desired height. Kieran began looking for his little wayward knight. It didn’t take him long as it appeared the knight was trying to get the spooked horses to calm down for him to mount. It seemed that Kieran’s roar of joy earlier had frightened them to the point of absolute stampede had they not been tied. As easily as he had grabbed the sheep earlier, Kieran scooped up the fleeing human before he had a chance to spot him.

Below him, the horses and mule finally broke free from the picket line, stampeding for the hill as fast as their legs would carry them. Kieran merely took note of their direction; he would catch up with them later. He was never one to pass up an easy meal. Six horses and a mule may be a little much after some knights, even for a large dragon like himself, but he wouldn’t let them go to waste. Kieran’s dragon form was still growing and he needed lots of energy and size to protect (and entertain) his newfound little carrier. Kieran would come back later and chase them into a dead-end gully to stay and wait till he was ready to eat them.

The Knight in his hand would not stop struggling, shooting knightly dribble like “Unhand me foul beast!” and “I, Sir Erik, shall smite thee!” as Kieran flew back toward the other unconscious Knights and Kieran’s little human. The human tried to draw his sword, but it was trapped at his side by Kieran’s powerful grasp around his waist, so instead he grabbed his dagger. He stabbed away at the fingers holding him, but the scaly flesh was impenetrable for the dagger; to Kieran it merely felt like what humans felt when a bug bit them.

Kieran roared in pain and surprise when the human knight stabbed the dagger into the tender soft flesh between his fingers. He lost his hold on the Knight for a second or two, only to barely grab him back by one of his legs. ‘Stupid, suicidal knight! Does he want me to drop him? Doesn’t he know that at this height he will be a knightly pancake if he should fall? Really, is being eaten so bad?’ Kieran thought to himself as he shook the knight by his leg, dislodging the knight of his weaponry and helmet.

Upon returning to the field where the other Knights lay, Kieran swooped down and picked up the mace-wielding knight who was now stumbling around, disorientated, before continuing back to his cave. Kieran landed on the larger ledge in front of his cave home, easily landing only on his haunches. Now carrying a knight in each hand, Kieran made his way inside.

The inside of the cave was quite large, with two large chambers not far from the tunnel entrance and several passageways to small for him to explore located high off the cave floor. The walls were smooth, as if worn down over the millennia. The walls contained veins of Posrothaina, a rare mineral that when applying heat, it creates a gentle white light. Kieran, when he first arrived and found this cave, had clawed at the wall, digging large pieces out to place around the two chambers to provide lighting in the dark depths of the cave. The air was cool compared to the summer heat blazing outside. A slight, sweet breeze blew through from the back of the cave’s depths, freshening the air of the cave.

In one of the chambers, there was a small pond at the back, deeper than a standing human’s head but barely over Kieran’s shoulders. The pond was fed by a tiny waterfall that fell from a passage above it, while the water flowed out throw a small stream to the cave entrance before becoming it one little waterfall. The water was sweet tasting and fresh but quite cold, leaving Kieran to think it was mountain feed. This chamber also had a pile of assorted human goods, such as armor, weapons, clothes and camping gear. The pile was next to a large boulder the size of a large human house; the boulder was another of Kieran’s additions to the cave. It had taken him a while to find the perfect size and bring it back to the cave. The boulder blocked the only passage that was ground level and happened to be a dead end.

Kieran made his way over to the boulder with his struggling quarry. He handed the first knight, the one who had run, to his tail while he used his claws to strip the other Knight of his armor and clothes, ignoring the screams and yells the two made. Once the human knight was naked Kieran easily pushed the boulder aside and toss him inside. He quickly did the same to the other knight before sliding the boulder back into place. Kieran needed to take care of the others before he could think of eating; plus, he needed to bring his little carrier here to his lair before the boy died from heat exhaustion out in the sun. He knew that the Knights, alone or together, would not be able to move the boulder to escape. Besides, Kieran found that the fear of the dark and of being eaten improved the taste of humans.

After repeating the process with the other unconscious knights, he left the two badly injured where they lay. Kieran returned this time for his newfound carrier, who was still lying unconscious where he had left him. He felt like he could just stand there watching the boy sleep as his small chest rose and fell with each breath and the hot, muggy wind played with the boy’s strawberry blond hair. But the boy’s pale skin was turning red, burning under the blazing sun, and was getting worse by the moment.

Before he could take his little mate back, he needed to free him from the wooden stake he was tied to. His large talon-like fingers were no good for removing the boy’s slender wrists from the wicked manacles biting into his flesh. In is humanoid form he could easily grasp the rusty iron chain connecting them to the post and tear it appear, but he would not be able to transform for at least another month or two, till he was done with this growth spurt. The manacles would unfortunately have to stay till Kieran thought of some way to remove them. Grasping the stake at both ends and wrapping his tail around his tiny sleeping human, he bit the stake cleanly through at the place where the chain to the manacles was nailed in.

Once the boy’s arms were free, he instantly slumped into the support of Kieran’s tail. Kieran tossed and spit away the remains of the stinking stake. Gently, Kieran moved the resting boy from his tail to his hands, cradling his precious human to his warm chest and causing the boy to moan and move about a little in discomfort. ‘Hush, little Skif. I will cool you down soon. Just rest for now.’

As carefully and gently as he could manage, Kieran took off, flying his very best while still going as fast as he would allow himself to go. He wanted his carrier, his future mate, his little Skif in his lair NOW, but to suffer no more harm than he had already suffered. Kieran back winded down to the ledge in front of his lair and tucked his wings back as he entered on two feet, awkwardly making his way to the second chamber, still cradling his precious bundle.

This chamber was much smaller than the other one, only about twice the size of Kieran himself, perfect for a bedchamber. Kieran had even piled up soft leaves and dry grass to form bedding. Kieran lay his human on his back, down on the cool dirt covered ground of the cave floor, allowing the coolness of smooth rocks and soft soil to leach the extra heat from Skif’s overheated body. Picking up a couple of the tiny rocks of posrothaina, Kieran breathed his fiery breath on them till they started to glow, then placed them in a circle around his little carrier, illuminating him. Kieran watched as Skif’s heat-induced panting subsided and his breathing increase in depth as his body relaxed.

Bathed in the tender white light of the stones, Kieran was able to get a better look at his human up close. Sure, his hair was a mess of sweat and dirt, and his body stunk and was in need of a few dozen baths, but to Kieran he was beautiful. The most beautiful creature he had ever seen, with his tiny little nose, high cheekbones, well shaped chin and slightly pointed ears, almost making him look like an elf. Skif’s lips might have been very dry and swollen from lack of water and the abuse, but they looked so inviting, Kieran could just imagine his throbbing cock disappearing into the warm, wet suction of his mouth. Kieran saw passed the dirt and bruises that covered the body to the slender torso with little pink nipples that he could not wait to suck on and the pleasing shape of the waist perfect for baring little dragonets. The fact that the boy’s bones where showing could easily be rectified with plenty of food and rest.

Kieran’s mind was driven wild by the sight of this sleeping beauty, who was totally and completely his to ravish and enjoy all by himself, and yet unable to do so. Cursing the gods of humor, who saw fit to present him with this delicious angel during his Growth year, Kieran knew he would have to wait another month before he could properly claim his little angelic carrier.

With a heavy, hissing sigh of frustration and regret, Kieran raised himself up from the crouch he had taken while gazing at his human laying in the circle of light. Kieran used his tail to gently lift his little one by his waist and transfer him over to the far edge of the soft bedding, this time to lay on his stomach with his arm stretched out in front of him, so that the cool air would sooth his sunburned back. With the tip of his tail, Kieran gently rested Skif’s head atop one of his outstretched arms, allowing him to breathe freely. With a final touch of his tail trailing down the little humans exposed back, Kieran reluctantly made his way out of the lair.

The sun was beginning to set when Kieran finally emerged from his lair. Kieran again leaped off the ledge only to use the momentum to soar back into the open sky. He needed to herd the horses and get a little dinner before he could return to his abused little human and settle down for the night.

The thermals were still strong enough to carry him to where the horses had finally come to rest. Luckily for Kieran that was not very far from where he wanted them to be, but it did take him some time to get them all running in the right direction. Kieran chased them into the dead end gully not far from his cave. It was full of fresh grass and had a clean pond for drinking. The horses would more than likely just stay put for the time being, tired as they were from fear and running, so Kieran would not have to worry about them moving.

Making his way back to the last two knights, the ones with the broken back and ribs, Kieran found them almost exactly where he had left them. The one with the broken ribs somehow managed to pull himself a few feet from where he was dropped, but it made no difference to Kieran. He was still a little full from his large meal yesterday; however, Kieran still had room for these two. Both of them would likely not make it through the night so there was no point in bringing them back to his den with the other four knights. Dead human didn’t taste as nice nor give him the satisfying wiggling feeling in his belly as live humans.

They begged and pleaded with Kieran while praying to their foolish deities to protect them. Kieran just huffed, allowing a little of his fiery breath to escape from his nose. ‘Why do they always beg for mercy when they’re about to die, but never think to offer it to others?’ Kieran thought as he remembered all the bruises and scars on Skif’s flesh.

Not that he was eating them for vengeance for his little carrier. No. Humans, despite their boniness and lack of meat, made up for it with their taste, being one of the tastiest creatures in a dragon’s diet. Only elves where tastier, but they were quick, clever and dangerous with the earth magic making them a rare treat. Of course the alliance between dragons and elves made it frowned upon. “It’s never good to eat your allies” or so His lord father always told him. Carriers were considered another delicacy due to their heavenly taste; many a dragon went to bed with a carrier only to end up eating the poor thing instead. Which is why, Kieran believed, there were so few carriers left.

Turing his attention back to the meal at hand, Kieran picked up the nearest human knight, the one with the broken back, which didn’t seem to affect his screaming. Kieran quickly used his talon fingers to remove the man’s armor and clothes. They spoiled the taste and sometimes gave him an upset stomach if he forgot to eliminate all their hidden weapons. Holding the limp human above his head like a rag doll, he slowly opened his mouth and allowed the man to see his destination - a large mouth surrounded by razor sharp teeth. His powerful forked tongue slid itself all over the tiny mortal body, savoring the taste. Taking absolute glee in his prey’s terror, Kieran wrapped his tongue around the human body and pulled him into his mouth.

Kieran watched the eyes of the second human bulge out as he watched his friend, now just a fleshy lump, slide down Kieran’s throat before disappearing into his stomach. It took a minute for the man to get over his shock of just seeing his friend being eaten by a dragon, but by then Kieran had him naked and moving towards his open mouth. Repeating the gruesome process once again, Kieran hissed with pleasure at the feeling of the second one as he wiggled all the way down. For the next few hours he would be able to feel the two of them moving around in his full belly, and for a dragon that was one of the best feelings in the world.

The sun was almost gone from the sky as he lumbered his way into the air. Making his way home was slow going as was always the case after a meal, but he managed to set down on his ledge as the last of the rays of sunlight faded from the sky. Kieran yawned as he moved inside. He could hear the soft, muffled pounding and yelling from the four trapped knights coming from the other chamber, but the boy’s sweet scent carried on the wind called his tired body towards the other. The boy had not moved in his absence, which pleased Kieran greatly, and with a little effort, he manage to arrange himself so that he faced the sleeping human with his tail wrapped behind him. Kieran’s sleepy heart sang with pride as he settled in; the only way that this feeling could be better was if he were in his humanoid form with the sleeping boy curled up on his chest, but that would come too.

*****************************************************************************************************************

The light from the stones eventually waned, restoring the silent darkness of the cave. Sometime during the night, the tiny sleeping human, chilled by the cool breeze blowing passed him, turned unconsciously to the nearest heat source and curled up against Kieran’s belly. A sleepy Kieran opened his droopy eyes to see what touched him. Finding the quivering human snuggling against him, he smirked and coiled his tail closer to the boy’s exposed back before drifting back to sleep.

smint45 – So glad you like Kieran he a little immature but that will change with time. He would intently hurt our poor Skif. Dead carriers don’t make babies very well. But this is the first human he been around that he wasn’t planning on eating later, so he is a little rough on him, not too much though. Don’t worry about the knights there just a pack of annoying mosquitoes that Kieran will deal with shortly. As you see above.

Itchan – lol the first part is a prologue and then chapter 1. This above is chapter 2. I think you might be one of the few who caught that. Lol I glad my summary was a good indication of the content and got you interested. It hard to write a eye catching tag. I love Dragon and MPreg stories but I haven’t come across one with both yet * sigh* I have to write my own. I’m glad you like Poor suffering Skif and Immature Dragon Kieran. I’m a little sorry that at the moment they won’t get right to the baby making. Need to build a relationship first. Don’t want to bring any cute baby dragons into the world that no ready for them right? Lol Thanks for reading I hope you liked this chapter too.
