“Like the Goblin King…” Kalista looked at him. He could be the Goblin King, cold, cruel…and just looking for love. Ya right…everything but the love thing.

“What?” Jareth looked over from his seat.

“You know, the Labyrinth, with David Bowie?” Kalista decided maybe small talk was the way to go, as long as she didn’t say anything to upset him.

“Never heard of it,” Jareth loved the sound of her voice and was glad that she was talking to him. Actually surprised more than anything.

“Oh, well I liked it, it was a good movie,” and the small talk ended. Kalista looked out the window. Where was he taking her? Probably to some farm in only God-knows where, to rape her and then kill her. Get his fun and then just leave. She saw a sign, Broomfield 11 km. They had been driving for hours. Kalista looked at the clock, almost 6:30. Oh my God, my parents. They must be so worried. She looked over at Jareth and glared. She could feel a freak out coming up.

She started to yell, “Why did you need to take me? Huh! Why couldn’t you have left me at home? Why?” Kalista started to cry yet again. Tears streaming down her angelic face. “Why did you need to take me from my home, my family?” She looked at him.

Jareth tried to breathe, count to ten. He could hear the pain in her voice. He looked over, she looked like a frightened, yet angry 10 year-old. “You said to take whatever I wanted…and I wanted you! End of story!” he yelled back no longer able to keep his temper down. Jareth pulled the truck over; he needed time to calm down.

Kalista turned in frustration, anger and pain. She looked out the window. She couldn’t stand looking at him anymore; his eyes were too enchanting.

Jareth stole a look at her and he could no longer keep his hands away. Suddenly his hand was on her leg and moving slowly up towards her thigh. Kalista pushed it away. “Don’t touch me, you disgusting pig!”

Unexpectedly, her head was being dragged closer to his; by her hair. “Oww…stop it! You’re hurting me.” However, he didn’t stop, not until her eyes were looking straight into his.

“Don’t you ever insult me, or you will pay dearly,” Jareth threatened. Instead of letting her go back to her seat, his lips roughly descended onto hers. Jareth’s tongue forced Kalista’s lips open, and he started to roam around her mouth. Kalista tried desperately to pull free, but was to no avail.

She was losing air fast, and it was becoming increasingly hard to breathe. Kalista thought she was definitely going to die from suffocating to death. However, at the last minute Jareth pulled back. Kalista sat back down in her seat.

She looked over at him. God he was vile! She bit her lower lip. For some reason that kiss tasted really good to her. Was I slightly aroused by him? No! That is nonsense. No, no, no! It was just because Luke is gone and I am just feeling…withdrawal. It is absolutely nothing.

Jareth started up the truck without saying a word. He had to keep control over himself. He would be able to release his urges when he got her to his house. But for now, he had to concentrate on getting there first.

Jareth and Kalista drove in complete silence, until Jareth stop for a washroom break.

“Do you need anything? Water?” Jareth tried to sound casual.

“I’m fine, I’m just going to use the washroom,” Kalista answered. She started to get out of the truck but was stopped.

“You aren’t going anywhere without me,” Jareth had a hold of her arm. When he was sure she wasn’t going anywhere, he hopped out of the truck and ran around to the other side. “Let’s go.” He held out his arm. Kalista sighed and took it. Jareth helped her out of the truck and lead her towards the bathroom door. “Now don’t try to run away. I am going inside to grab some things. I’ll only be gone a minute.” He ran to the entrance and slipped into the store.

Just as he said, he was in and out within a minute. Jareth grabbed Kalista and they started on their journey again. “Only another 30 minutes and we’ll be there. My warm, cozy home,” he looked over at Kalista.

“I am so looking forward to this,” Kalista said to his face, sarcasm could be heard in her voice. When she was sure he could see the complete hatred in her eyes, she turned her head to the window, covering up the fear in them as well.
