It was so hard to keep from braking when Jordan hit him; he had to concentrate all his energy not to brake, and somewhere in the middle of it all he had lost consciousness, slipped into sweet darkness that he didn’t even know he had craved. The small doll could still feel light hits but they where fading, tell they no longer made contacted. Or rather he had stopped feeling them. He vaguely heard Jordan scream like a girl, but though it was his mind playing tricks on him. Then sweet temptation licked at him when he heard footsteps running away from him, could it be Jordan running away? Holden frowned in his sleep like state, that was wishful thinking. He could hear muffle voices; it was odd to be aware and then not aware.
Lucky and her two familiars creped closer to the unconscious person leaned up against the wall. Blond hair hid the boys closed eyes. Lucky didn’t know what to do with the kid, was he alive? She looked to see if he was breathing, and let out a sigh as she saw the steady rise and fall of his chest. The kid was indeed alive. She kneeled down, and placed her hand on his shoulder, golden eyes opened at the light touch. The eyes darted around looking for something or someone, Holden didn’t even blink when gazing at Fernando or Shadow, just merely skimmed them and then continued to look around tell his eyes rested on Lucky. The small toy smiled shyly, and then winced it hurt to do anything.
“Oh good god he’s gone.” Lucky looked to her familiars wondering why the kid didn’t freak at seeing Shadow.
Holden tried to stand, but fell quickly back to the wall.
“Hey you ok, you look…” it was odd Lucky knew that the kid was hurt but she couldn’t see his injuries, none, nothing was there, except something that looked like a little bit of blood at the corner of his lips. “Where are you hurt?” Holden smiled softly so it wouldn’t hurt, and raised his hand then placed them in his pockets before they could see the cracks left behind when he braced himself as he was slammed into the wall by Jordan. How the jerk didn’t hear the cracking noise was beyond him must be deaf.
“It’s alright I bounce back quickly, no need to worry.” Shadow thumped his hoof on the title floor and snorted, Holden smiled amused.
“Hey how come you’re not freaking?” Holden tilted his head not knowing what she was asking she pointed to Shadow. “You are human aren’t you?”
“Don’t really know…” Holden smiled nervously, Lucky didn’t know what question the boy was answering.
“What’s your name?” The doll haled out a gloved hand. ‘Did he always have gloves on?’ “I don’t think he did, he may be hiding something.” ‘I think your right.’ Lucky would have nodded her head if it weren’t for the blond staring so intently at her waiting for her to tell him her name.
“Er I’m Lucky.” Lucky said as she shook Holden’s hand softly, the kid smiled again.
“I’m…”
“Holden!” The blond froze and slowly turned his head to the side, as did Lucky and the two familiars to see a new comer at the corner of the hallway, Lucky let out a relieved sigh as she noticed the guy from one of her otherworldly classes. ‘Vincent wasn’t it?’
“Hi mas- Vincent.” The blond bubbled out as he tried to get up but failed. Vincent was knelling down next to him, looking at him, if they where alone he would have prodded and looked over Holden more thoroughly but now was not the time, he glanced at the girl next to his doll, and her two familiar. The dog was a good camouflage, but the shadow stallion? Vincent frowned knowing that Holden didn’t reacted like a regular human beanwould when seeing something so frightening and deadly looking in fact he was willing to bet his doll just glanced at him and then moved on. Vincent picked up Holden the doll round his hands around Vincent neck to help support him self, wincing at the movement but know it was unavoidable. Luck stood.
“You’re Vincent right?” Vincent glared, he had to get Holden back to the dorms and fix him before he was damaged more, and then he was going to make his doll tell him who did this to him. He would threaten to take away the toys lollipops if he didn’t it was time for Holden to ‘fess up. The burnet completely ignored Lucky, and looked down at his doll. Forget waiting he had to know now.
“Tell me who did this?” His voice came out clam and deadly, Lucky and her companions shivered visibility at the commanding tone that Vincent use at the injured kid he held. Vincent’s doll looked up to him wide innocent eyes looking up into green menacing ones.
“I have no ide…”
“Don’t lie it’s un becoming of you.” The toy frowned his master was ordering him to tell him with out really saying it out right demanding it.
“But mas- Vincent.” It was hard to talk to Vincent when others where around, even if the older man was ignoring the hell out of them. Holden glanced at Lucky hoping that she didn’t catching his mistakes when talking to his master.
“Tell me now!” Vincent had, had enough he was going to know who was braking his doll no matter what, he was very tempted to shove the little blond in a closet if he didn’t tell him now. Holden hated closets felt closed in. Funny because he’s a doll it shouldn’t bother him as much as it did but the poor toy would freak out until he passed out then he would do what ever Vincent told him to.
“But-but”
“Name now.” Lucky looked on worried was Vincent going to hurt Holden, she shook her head why would he if he was helping the kid trying to find out the name of who hurt him so much. She didn’t care that she was being ignored everyone got ignored here and there. “Isn’t their relationship odd?” Fernando asked assessing the two, the blond was starting to cry, whimpering here and there as the brunet tried to sooth the smaller one almost like he didn’t want to be caught doing so. ‘You think so too?’ The small dog nodded slightly.
“Please..”
“Now!” The blond sniffled and whimpered and then looked to the wall biting his lower lip.
“Jordan.” It was so low that Lucky and her familiars couldn’t hear it but Vincent did and there was hell to pay, that being the boy’s blood on his hands. Vincent smoothed down Holden’s hair, finally lighting up now that he knew who was tormenting his doll. His shoulders relaxed and his posture changed he had the information he wanted he could go to the dorms and fix Holden knowing the doll had nothing to hide. He began to walk off, Holden smiled regretfully at Lucky knowing he would have to find her latter and thank her for her help, he waved his gloved hand as Vincent turned around the corner, leaving the three to wonder about the weird display the usually sonic Vincent just displayed.

“Wow, He was angry” thought Lucky as she was running back to her room to change. In her arms she clutched a plastic horse figurine and a dog plushy. To the mortal eye they would appear as regular children’s toys but as she placed them on the floor after she climbed back though the hole in her wall they reappeared in their true forms. Shadow and Fernando.
Turning to check the time she let out a shriek that sent Kitty tumbling off the couch where she was sleeping. Her leg wrapped up in bandages.
“ Uggghhhh…who’s dying?” she groaned then winced when she put weight on her wounded limb.
“ Did you know THAT was the time? I got to get ready for Math. The teacher won’t believe that I spent the night chasing after a psycho demon horse. No offense meant” she added as an afterthought. Shadow snorted, pushed open the mini-fridge door and started munching on yesterday’s salad.

“Hey Semyazza. How you doing?” Asked Lucky while trying to cover a yawn.
“Fine” the dark haired girl answered. Semyazza looked to be a stereotypical witch with her Goth-like appearance, big boots, dark eye shadow, black hair and bat hairclips. A witch or a vampire wannabe. On the other side of the spectrum was Lucky with her pale hair tied up in a pink bow and a description that could come out of cute a fuzzy magazine. One would find it funny that Lucky was the real witch and Semyazza the mortal.
“ You want to come to my house later? I have the new ‘Vampire Tea Party’ CD” Being a mortal Semyazza lived off campus and had to commute to school. Vampire Tea Party was her favorite band.
“ Their new hit is called ’Death by Phallic Imagery’ It’s really cool.” Semyazza stated with her emotionless raspy voice “ It’s my new favorite song”
Lucky always found it fun to watch Semyazza talk. Anything she said would never change the expression on her face.
