Hi :D
Ok so here is chapter 3, and yeay I got 2 reviews so far :P
Luinil_Telcontar: Hehe srry never thought of that. I'm not japanese and I don't speak it either but because I'm watching a lot of animes I got to know some japanese words and since this story takes place in a place similar to Japan (because of all the animes I watch (A)) I put some jap words in the story. But I can imagine it is a bit annoying to keep scrolling down and then forgetting where you are :P This time I'm also posting the words with meaning on top of the story lets see if that works. Pls let me know how that works.
Glad you liked the action part. Never wrote anything like that before and I hope it was good enouhg. Sorry to say but the next coming chapters don't have fun action I'm afraid. They will however explain what the story is about and tell where I want to go with it. But don't worry there will probably be enough action later on :D
Any comments or tips are always welcome so please let me know what you guys think about this! :D
So on to the next chapter ^.^ Enjoy!
Bbye,
Chikyu

Chapter 3 Confused
Chikyu looked down at her hands, her fingers started to change. Slowly they grew longer and they looked a pale green. After a couple of minutes her fingers looked like small roots of a tree. Some parts got covered with the bark of a tree and on other parts there where leaves growing out of it. When she swung her head to the side she noticed her hair had changed too. It looked like long very thin vines. She screamed. Then she noticed something else. Her room was filled with the most extraordinary trees, plants, grasses and flowers, even the rainforest would be jealous of the diversity and amount. Upon seeing this changes she got scared and she tried to run away out of her room and escape from the madness.
As she ran the vines and roots seemed to follow her and spread throughout the house. She reached the door and went outside her house there she saw that the whole yard had been covered with fresh green grass and a wide variety of flowers. There where so many that she couldn’t even tell how many different types there where. Then she felt something.
As she looked down a strong though looking tree root was crawling up her leg. It wrapped itself tightly as it advanced up. She wasn’t able to set another step and other vines and roots where also beginning to wrap itself around her. She had panicked yelling and screaming as hard as she could while trying to get loose of her natural prison.
Then she woke up. All covered in sweat and still breathing fast as if it had really happened. Immediately she looked at her hands checking for roots or vines, as she did a lock of hair fell down in her face. A little startled by that she looked to her left side. There in the corner of her window it had seemed if something small and green disappeared. She had shook her head telling herself that she was still seeing things from her nightmare. After getting dressed and a quick breakfast she went off for school.
*I really need to speak to Taiyõ. What happened isn’t normal and I deserve an explanation from him. I mean he didn’t seem surprised at all. That must mean he knows something.* She thought, *Besides why would he tell me not to ask him questions about this. That must mean he knows but that he simply doesn’t want to tell me.* As Chikyu walked to school she kept pondering what had happened the day before and as a result of that her nightmare last night. Those two where definitely connected. When Taiyõ got her up from that collapsed building she had vines wrapped around her wrist. And in her dream she had been followed by those. On top of that she dared to swear she had seen a root disappearing from her window. *Stop that!* Chikyu scolded herself, *That root you think you saw was just your imagination. It couldn’t have been real.*
Somewhere in the distance a bell rang.
“Oh no! I’m gonna be late!” The bell had brought her back to reality. Chikyu ran towards her school and was just in time for the school gate to close. Still out of breath she walked up to her classroom and got to her chair. She looked around to see if Taiyõ was around. As usual he sat in the back of the corner of the class. Not talking to anyone, he was just staring out of the window on the opposite side of the room. Then the teacher walked in the room and class began.
After 2 hours of boring English grammar the bell finally rang. Chikyu had found it very hard to concentrate as her mind kept drifting off to the events that had occurred. When she hurried to the door she tried to catch up with Taiyõ, who somehow managed to leave the classroom first while sitting in the back of it. When she got out however he was nowhere to be found. It was only a couple hours later when she saw him again. This time in Japanese class. Again Taiyõ disappeared as soon as class was over.
When Chikyu walked out of the classroom someone called her name. It was a girl from Miyako’s group. “Want to hang out with us?” the girl asked her. “Ehh hai!” Chikyu was stunned she hadn’t expected this invitation. Especially not because she hadn’t come along with them last time when they went to the mall. “What are we going to do? Are we going somewhere?” She asked the girl, “Ehh and what is your name?”
“My name is Emi and you are Chikyu, I know,” the girl said before Chikyu could introduce herself. “and we are going to the mall shopping and maybe we could dress you up a bit? Well only if you like it of course.”
”H-hai I would I mean that would be great!” Chikyu stumbled over her words. “Ok then its settled. Miyako!!” Emi yelled “she is coming too.”
Later that day Chikyu walked home. On both of her arms she had a couple of bags filled with clothes. It had been a lot of fun shopping with the girls. Although she didn’t like everything they picked out for her she had tried it on anyway. Most of the things she actually bought, mostly because everyone said she looked great in it. It had only been pretty difficult to cover up the bruises she got from the previous evening with a girl popping up in her dressing room every now and then to check on her. Now she really fitted in the group, the girls didn’t seem to mind her presence and she now dressed the same way as well! Things couldn’t be better.
*Except that I never got to talk to Taiyõ about what happened* She thought to herself. *But the things that happened where probably just my imagination anyway.* The more she thought about it the less credible it seemed.
Just as she got more and more convinced that the things that happened hadn’t really happened she felt something. A presence getting nearer to her. A chill went up her spine. *Masaka!* as she turned around she caught a glimpse of something dark and huge. Without thinking she started running towards her house. She noticed the thing following her. While running she was able to peek over her shoulder. Her presumption had been right.
*A youkai! That means it was real! But that’s just impossible.*
As the youkai leaped towards her for an attack she dodged it by quickly running to the left. “What do you want from me?” She yelled as she kept on running. “Go away!”
“Give me your seishou” The youkai roared to her. Without really understanding what he was saying she kept running. Finally she could see the corner of the street, behind that the garden started. Being home didn’t mean she would get rid of him she knew that but at least she was on her own terrain. That had to give some advantage, right?
That moment she reached her garden. Without looking back she kept running until she saw her house. Then she dared to look over her shoulder to see where the youkai was.
“Gone?” Her lonely voice sounded loud in the silence of the garden. *That’s weird, just a moment ago he was there but now he’s gone. And I don’t have that strange feeling anymore either.* Still cautious she looked around ready to start running if she needed to. But everything kept quiet. Then she noticed some birds singing their pretty songs. *That’s really strange! It seems like they only just started again.*
Still looking around to see if there was something strange she walked towards the house.
“BOOOO!!!!”
”IIIIiiiiiiiiiii” Chikyu screamed as loud as she could totally startled by her brothers popping up bhind the door. “Hehe, I didn’t expect a result as nice as this. Where were you with your head little sister?” A grinning Matt stood in front of her. “BAKA!” Totally pissed of she walked straight past him and went up to her room. The she threw down her bags and let herself fall on her bed. Her heart was racing like it had to catch up for the beats it lost when Matt scared her. “Baka, baka, baka. I hate him what does he think giving me a heart attack like that!” She said out loud as she punched her fists in her mattress. “I really need to talk with Taiyõ.”
The next day at school, the Miyako group was waiting for her. They where discussing her new outfit as they walked in the class. Taiyõ wasn’t there yet, she wondered where he was. On the background the girl group was chattering cheerfully. As the day went by she saw Taiyõ a couple of times, but every time she wanted to go to him either he had disappeared or the girls kept her busy. Without any more information she went back home. That night as she watched out of her window she could see large shadows on the edge of the garden. At first she got scared at it and she would hide behind the curtains but after a while she noticed that the shadows never entered their garden. Chikyu thought this was a bit weird but on the other hand she was relieved. For some reason they couldn’t come to the house, meaning that she would be safe for the night.
The next days the same things happened as before. Most of the time she just missed Taiyõ as she saw him or the girls of her new found group kept her to busy to go to him. On her way back and forth to school she occasionally encountered a youkai. Luckily she was able to outrun them or reach her garden in time. Other times they just simply disappeared. In the meanwhile she was still haunted with nightmares. This and the noises of youkai’s outside kept her out of her sleep making her exhausted after a couple of days.
On top of that she found leaves in her room one day. This was very weird and should be impossible considering she kept her window shut in fright of the demons outside. She had even asked her mother not to open it cause she said she was afraid to get sick from an open window. Still it was undeniable, there where leaves in her room. And she that morning she had sworn she saw a flower in the corner of her room. As it got to the end of the week she got determined to talk to Taiyõ about it.
Now it was Friday, the last day of school for the week. *If I don’t talk to him today I got to wait till Monday and who knows what has happened by then. I wonder if I’ll still be able to walk by then. At this rate I will collapse soon.* She thought to herself walking besides Matt to school. Her brother had become worried after seeing her growing more tired every day and he tried to get her to tell him what got her like that. She had, however refused to say anything about the matter.
“Will you be alright from here?” He asked with a worried voice. “Yea sure, I only have to walk through my classroom door and what can happen when I do that.” Chikyu turned around and walked into the room.
Shaking his head, Matt watched his little sister, as she got surrounded by at least 8 girls. *I would get tired of that as well* He thought before walking off.
At the end of the day, after the last class, Chikyu saw Taiyõ just outside school. She had worried she had missed him again but luck finally seemed on her side. While ignoring the calling of her name by the girls she hurried outside to catch up with Taiyõ. He was already outside of the school gate so she had to run to catch up to him. However she didn’t want to approach him yet.
If she walked up to him here people would ask question and with this subject Chikyu wasn’t really fond of that idea. Instead she decided to follow him a bit until they weren’t anywhere near school anymore.
“Stop following me.” Taiyõ said without turning around as he suddenly stopped. “N-nani? Who are you talking to?” Chikyu attempted to sound like she didn’t know what he was talking about. “I’m talking to you and you know it,” he said calmly. “I told you not to come up to me or ask me questions.”
”But I haven’t even ask you something. And I haven’t come up to you either.”
“Don’t tell me that shit! You have been trying to.” His voice sounded annoyed.
Chikyu hesitated. “B-but you got to tell me what’s going on. I don’t get it and I need answers. You owe them to me!”
“I don’t owe you anything and there is nothing going on. Now leave.”
“I won’t!!!” She was so close now she didn’t want to give up. This was her only chance of getting him to talk. “What happened the other night when you saved me from that youkai?
Taiyõ sneered. “Nothing happened that night. I don’t know what you are talking about. What night?” He finally turned around to face her.
“You know what night I am talking about. The night I got attacked by a youkai and you saved me! I’m not leaving before you explain everything to me!” Chikyu looked angry at him. “If you won’t tell me now then I’ll keep on following you for the rest of my life if I have too.” As she looked at him standing there appearing unaffected, her anger grew. “I haven been having nightmares ever since that night, every where I go I got youkai following me and when I wake up I think I’m seeing things which aren’t there. Now you’re telling me that its nothing and that’s just a bunch of crap!”
Taiyõ turned around and started walking again. “Follow me.”
Chikyu didn’t hear him she was still furious. “Matte! You think you can just walk away like that? I’ll…”
”Follow me.” he repeated as he kept on walking. Chikyu had to run a little to level with him. As she walked next to him she looked up and asked; “Where are we going?”
”You’ll see was his short answer.”
After a while of walking they reached the edge of the city. There weren’t many house here but the once who where there were enormous. Taiyõ walked towards a gate, as he approached the gate swung open. “I don’t think we..”
”We’re almost there.” Taiyõ interrupted her. Soon after that the two of them stood in front of a huge door. “Is this really alright? I mean can we just walk in?” Chikyu asked a little unsure as Taiyõ opened the door.
“This is my house” it took Chikyu a couple of minutes for that to sink in. “You really live here?” She asked him in disbelieve.
“Go through that door and sit down. I’ll be right there.”
”Demo..” she tried to say more but Taiyõ interrupted her “Go.”
When she walked through the door she entered the living room. In awe she looked around not believing a living room could be this big. Looking at the couch she was afraid to sit down. After a couple of minutes she started to wonder where Taiyõ disappeared too. Just at that moment he entered the room.
“Ok now what do you want to know?”

School/classes: not sure about the Japanese classes/lessons so I used my own experience. Chikyu and Taiyõ aren’t always in the same class. For example they have English and Japanese class together but Chikyu follows biology while Taiyõ has geografy class. Because of that it’s not strange that Chikyu sees Taiyõ again a couple of hours later.
I’m not trying to write a story with correct Japanese culture instead I will mix different things and cultures together thus creating a bit of my own world ^^
