Blue Something: prologue 1

"...and are you REALLY sure it was him?"

"You don\'t forget THAT sort of people that easy"

Detective Yun had a hard time suppressing her rage.

*How could such a idiot become commissioner?*

"It could have been a coincidence, you know that all skrets look the same"

"Sir, that was a racist statement. No, they may have long noses and green skin but otherwise they all have their individual looks and I\'m sure he is the one we are looking fore."

"But we don\'t even know if he had green skin or if he actually was a demon."

Commissioner Tomas Vrozkrokkop didn\'t seem too interested with the detective. He had his hairy hobbit feat on the table as if he was at home, he was slowly smoking a cigarette and seemed overall annoyed by the detectives presence.

"If he was a demon? Sir, have you red the results of the autopsy of ms. White? They found a tiny glass marble in her head. He killed her by throwing a glass marble at her! He dispatched several guards without greater effort, if he wasn\'t stunned from hitting his head on the bars at high speed, we wouldn\'t be able to arrest him at all. I don\'t think there are many humans that would be capable of that, maybe some strong humanoid but they don\'t recover that fast."

"And your point is?"

"My point is that we should investigate who was that person who appeared last week on Random TV, since his description fits our suspect!"

"But didn\'t the suspect have white skin and green eyes?"

Yun had to count to ten, or else she would blast his curly head away.

"Artificial skin and contact lenses, even kids know this things! And we clearly saw that his real skin-color WAS GREEN!!!!"

"Stop shouting at me detective! There are no real evidence that there is ANY connection between the assassin and the person who appeared on TV last week, now stop wasting my time!"



Yun left the commissioner\'s office, she was boiling with rage. If she would not know better, she would think that he is protecting the assassin.



Manny things happened since last week. Since the assassination in the court-room. Since the broadcast.

One day after the broad-cast, Jonathan `Johnny` Ross was murdered.

He was shot in the head, probably with a sniper riffle, while leaving the Cort-House. It is needless to say that people were really happy about this. She her self was secretly glad that the world got rid of that menace, but crime is crime.

Another thing was that around the same time eight people, all somehow associated with the Ross clan went missing.

But the biggest blow came two days ago.

For a whole week there was no sign of old Ross. And not only Jhonen Ross, the entire Villa de Ross seemed like if it was turned into a haunted-mansion over night.

They didn\'t answer the phones, no-one was seen entering or leaving the building, Ross didn\'t even show up on several meetings.

And so after a couple of days the police got a allowance to enter the building.

It is needles to say that it was the first time that the police entered it.

What they saw was horrifying.

The building was full of the headless corpses of the employees.

Upon further examination it was revealed that the heads weren\'t the only body parts missing. The heart, liver and kidneys were also removed as well as some flesh around the legs, shoulders and ribs.

It almost seemed like the work of some professional butchers.

The inside of the building seemed rather empty for a millionaires house. It was obviously looted after the incident.

But the biggest catch was in the kitchen.

The remains of what they thought to be the body of Jhonen Ross.

Literally.

The body was heavily cannibalized.

It was lying on a large table, probably brought from the dining room.

Some empty wine bottles were lying around on the floor.

Burned-down candles were lying on the table, the candelabrum were probably taken away afterwards.

There was a giant bloody stain on the floor in the dining room, on the place were the table originally stood. It is not quite sure if there was any connection between this.



The house itself was almost completely looted. The only things left was some furniture

that was obviously too big to be taken away and the carpets.

A interesting thing was that the expensive carpet in the dining room was carefully rolled together and placed in the back of the room.

It seemed as if they didn\'t want it to get dirty, even tho they could not take it away.

It was actually amazing how someone could loot the entire building in such a short time without anyone noticing something.

The back door was kicked open, wile the front door seemed undamaged.



Upon further investigation more things became clear.

The phone-lines were cut and the alarm was turned out.

No security cameras were found, but not because the Ross wouldn\'t have any but rather because they were all taken away after the incident in order to get rid of all evidences.

Some parts of the security system were still in tact. The building had a automatic opening/closing for the front door. There was also a function which could let massive steel window-blinds fall from both sides of the windows, making it impossible entering or leaving the building.

The control room was empty. All the TVs were taken away.

The room didn\'t show any sign of violent entrance, which either means that the guard was working together with the attackers or one of them infiltrated the place disguised as a guard.



The scenario seemed obvious.

One of the attackers infiltrated the house-security. He took out the alarm. He broke all contacts to the outside world and then used the house\'s own security sistem to trap everybody inside.

The other attackers then broke-in trough the back-door, slaughtering all its inhabitants.

You could almost feel sorry for them.



Tanya Yun exited the commissioner\'s office. Her colegues were looking at her with concern.

Everyone knew what this meant.



She returned home grumbling.

The Commissioner\'s actions made no sense.

Right after the assassination in the courtroom and the assassins escape, the Commissioner proved him-self as very active and initiative.

He immediately started the investigation. He gave the assassins description to all investigators, to the media, everywhere. He was craving for every single information that could lead to his capture.

For two days not a single clue was found.

And then...

The guy shows him-self on TV, on the probably most watched program and the Commissioner suddenly starts denying even the most obvious facts.



The deaths of the two Ross only made him denying it harder.



All the evidence pointed to demons.

The way the victims were killed, absolute lack of fingerprints and DNA, the speed and stealth beyond the laws of logic, the cannibalism and looting...

"Au, my head hurts!"



After having a cup of tea against headache, Tanya started browsing the internet. She hoped that some of the stuff that people post online would help her overcome her anger.

After a hour she stumbled across something she wouldn\'t imagine in her wildest dreams.

The videos title said "Jhonen Ross getting owned"



The following minutes almost made her puke.

The video featured Jhonen Ross chained on the table in the kitchen, the same place they later discovered his remains. He was still alive at that point.

Around the table sat three human looking figures.

They faces were digitally hid.

One of them was extremely skinny an had a artificial arm, the second was grotesquely obese, needing two chairs to sit, the third-one was small.

They were obviously taunting him, then the small one took a knave...........................









Tanya looked i terror.

He was alive. the whole time until the very end he was still alive.

They didn\'t even allow him to pass out, they were keeping him alive to make him feel every tiny bit.



One thing must be admitted, they had good taste. Every bit of flesh was used to prepare some of the finest meals the worlds cuisine has to offer.

And they had table manners, at least the skinny one-armed one.



Tanya knew that she would not sleep tonight, so why not use this night to inform about her find?

No not the commissioner, this one is going much higher.
