Chapter Two

"Heh, now you look like the bad guy Sujuka." Likan chirped.

Sujuka didn't even turn to glare at the man. "I'd punch you if it wouldn’t' kill you." He threatened, but it was empty. He sighed. "Look kid." He held the bridge of his nose. "I'm not your enemy. I know you're in a tough spot, but you brought this on yourself. My men won't touch you. This is why you and all of your fellow kitties and my kind are in this division. The government trusts me with you. I'm not as much of an asshole as everyone seems to think, or I wouldn't give a shit about the lives of my men. "

"Actually he'd lying. He really is a jackass." Likan whispered.

"You know what, I don't care if you DO die."

"Ah, he's always this grouchy," Likan said slithering up next to Delta. Likan was always pleasant. A stark contrast to the dark and moody Sujuka. "He's been picking on me since I could remember. Tough being a girl-type. As he calls us. What specialty field do you go in? Sujuka manages front lines and defensive, and I'm the artillery and sniper team. I feel sorry for you if you're in either of those teams though. Means you can't get away from grouch ass." Likan chuckled and only laughed harder at the face Sujuka gave him.

Delta would really like to know how he brought on being a ‘girl-type’ when it was all genetics, population and the like. He kept himself on the defensive, his eyes still wary as he took another step back as Likan moved up to him, though he did feel a bit more at ease with the other next to him then he did with Sujuka. “Military tactics and sniper.” He muttered, angered at himself when he figured out that what he was good at, would keep him with Sujuka for even longer. “Fantastic.”

He sighed as he turned away, granted he was one of the fertile males, able to give birth but he would probably be a horrible parent. He was reckless with himself though not with others. He couldn’t care less about what happened to him during the war, it would piss the Elders off though to learn if one of their breeders had suddenly died…or heaven forbid…got scarred. Delta had to smirk a bit at that thought, he had done everything when he was growing up to piss the people off, he had tattooed his flesh, kept his hair long, hid his ears and tail.
Dressed pretty much like a whore.

Underneath that military garb was a black, skin tight, navel baring razor top, black form fitting denim pants, he wore a sweater that ran down his left arm and ended at his gloved hand. The right side of the sweater had long since been torn off. He wore a wrist guard on his left arm and seemed to have this love affair with buckles as his boots were definitely not GI boots. They buckled up to his calves and with those buckles it camouflaged the collar that he wore, though it still irritated him at times. With his tall and thin frame, he would have been nothing but a ‘Girl-type’, the reproducing one.

Like most felines…he did have a weakness. Drugs no longer did anything for him as he reached his sexual maturity but catnip sure as hell did. Even the thought of it made him smile. He was such a retard at times. He looked over at Likan and nuzzled him briefly, more to acquaint himself with the other’s scent then for anything. “I’ll return to my tent.” He said, but through that all, he didn’t acknowledge Sujuka again, didn’t even look at him.
"Great...now I look like the jackass." He muttered, scratching the back of his head, but he didn't care. Let the bitch ignore him, as long as he didn't disrespect him. "I'm going back to the main barracks." He said to Likan, and left before his companion could even think to complain. He hated formalities but he had to address the issue of personal space around here. He'd already punched someone for grabbing his ass. He wasn't going to tolerate it again. It's not like it was hard to tell he was a man, while he had a pretty face and long straight black hair, he still had a man's build. Actually, he had more of a teenager's build, due to his body's slow aging process, but he was toned, even if he was an unimpressive 5'7 in height. He got mocked a lot for it, but a quick left hook to the jaw would shut anyone up. It was so hard getting respect. And he had to be an asshole to do it. He frowned outwardly before running into another, larger body. He looked up at one of his fellow generals and grimaced. "You don't belong here. You wouldn't try anything with my entire crew overlooking, now would you?" Sujuka hated this man beyond anything else, because he wouldn't take a hint.

Likan smiled at Delta and followed after him. "You don't like him at all do you?" He asked idly. "I didn't expect you would, no one really does but one particular general around here. Actually I lie. Lots of people lust after Sujuka, but I think he'll have some competition with you around. That's what you pretty people get for being attractive." He chuckled. "Oh, and don't mind me. I'm here to balance out Sujuka's complete dickery. Actually we're somehow related. Don't really know how, but we share a surname and a relative somewhere. I think he's my great grandfather's second son. Not really sure." He shrugged, not elaborating on why the grouchy man was so young looking when he was actually rather aged.

"Your ears are so cute."

Delta didn’t have the hand to hand fighting ability that Sujuka had. He was graceful, animalistic definitely but he wasn’t a bitch for no reason. He was weaker than most males, other than other bitches, and then he could fight with the rest of them. Yet put a sniper rifle in his hands and he was quiet as the air on a humid day, as focused as a hawk upon prey and as deadly as a knife to the throat. He knew that he couldn’t be the best sniper, which was an arrogant thought, something that would get him killed out on the field. If he could see the enemy then if the enemy was looking than they could see him and that was a chance at death.

Well bring it on.

He had no fear of death from war; it was the painful, slow death that he was avoiding. He hated the thought of anyone being able to claim that they killed or broke a Feline. “Do I dislike Sujuka? My like or dislike of the man means nothing. He is my General; I am loyal to him and will follow his orders unless he pisses me off and then fuck the government and their rules. I’ll go AWOL faster than a cheetah goes after prey.” He promised lowly before looked over at Liken. “So you’re what type of species? He asked as he looked at the other, another superior to him but he didn’t care. “By the way.” He said as the smartass part of him came to the forefront. “We are all related in some strange way or another, just trace our roots back far enough, you’ll find the same tree.”

He fingered one of his ears awkwardly, “They are a hassle sometimes. I can’t lay them flat so that stick out and now that Sujuka just banned my hat I have no way to cover them. It’s strange when people come over to pet my ears, especially when I’d rather not have them touched because it’s rather intimate and only for those that I actually like.” He tipped his head though to the other. “You can touch them if you want.” He muttered in embarrassment though he still kept his tail wrapped firmly around him. “Was Sujuka telling the truth? Would he really have allowed me to become camp bitch, will he allow me to be camp bitch if I piss him off?” He asked, though to his credit there was no trace of fear in his voice.

Sujuka? Telling the truth? Bah. He's just an assholish old bastard. He wouldn't do that. If that were the case, he'd have thrown me to the lion’s ages ago. I'm a submissive type too. Actually, He's sometimes too defensive... Really he's a nice guy. Just don't tell him that. He'll bitch and gripe at me for days. Since he can't hit me, he punishes me in other painful way. He's just controlling to a fault. He likes to have everything in order and get the most efficiency out of everyone." Likan chuckled. "Perhaps if he were nicer people wouldn't hate or fear him so much." Likan glanced over at Sujuka, who was beginning to get into a fight with the man who approached him. "Or rather, it's probably best that he is an asshole...He can barely tolerate one suitor."

"But to answer your question," Likan said pulling Delta with him. "No, Sujuka would never do that. He knows what can happen. He usually just hits people. Unless Keo is there...then Keo has the floor. I have never, not once in my life, seen anyone stand up to Keo." He pointed out, taking no hesitance in feeling up Delta's ears with childish glee. "You know, Sujuka had ears like this once. Though his were laid back more than yours. They weren't as cute on that sourpuss as they are on you."

Likan thought about the possibility of relation, but he knew better than that and he laughed out loud. "Child, there is no possibility what so ever that you and I are related, not even in the most distant tree out there. Sujuka and I are part of a created race. That's why we both have strange features. My physical appearance and Sujuka's slow aging body. He actually has three artificial limbs." Likan has no problem disclosing all of Sujuka's personal info. He was the informational network and had more dirt on everyone than anyone else had.

"I told you to go back to where you came from!" Sujuka's voice roared over Likan's softer voice. He was steadily being ignored by the persistent pervert. But he flinched back noticeably when the larger man grabbed him by the arm. Sujuka cast his eyes away from the man and growled fiercely. "Back off unless you want me to kill you."

"Knock it off, now. You're disrupting the camp grounds." a soft but powerful voice cut in.

"Oh no. Keo's getting involved. Come on, this'll be fun!" Likan giggled in a manner too feminine to make him really appear to be a leader of any sort. He pulled Delta along. "Hey Sujuka!" Likan called. "Your pet said he missed you already!"

Sujuka looked up with lightening speed, "Are you fucking high!?"

"What's going on?" Keo blinked confusedly through his shortish vibrantly rustic hair. "who are you?" The green eyed man asked looking at Delta and probably shocking many who'd never seen him before, or hadn't seen him in some time. It's not every day you see a heavily pregnant male in the military.
