Chapter 3
3
“Fuck, this guy seems just as deranged as his father and grandfather.”
“He has sociopathic tendencies, and the only evidence of him caring about anyone is when he mentions that he feels some sympathy for his father.”
“So doc, why do you think he started with “one of the things I never forgot”? It’s almost like he’s writing about something that happened way back.”
“Because he feels that his journal won’t be found for a very long time, and he wants to be immortalized.”
Detective Jackson wiped his greasy hands on his pants and began searching for something hidden beneath the clutter on his desk. A large explosion of thunder outside made him startle and jump almost reach for his gun.
“Fuck…”
“Still no news on the missing rockstar?” the Captain called as he entered the room dripping from outside.
“No Sir,” answered the red haired detective checking his phone for messages from his partner. “Been through this goddamned thing two times already and not a clue.”
“Sonofabitch probably still got the kid locked up somewheres…”
“…Or laying in a ditch. It’s been three days already.”
The Captain headed to the desk and looked them both in the eye.
“I don’t care how many times you have to read that pervert’s journal. There must be something in there to help us find that kid.”
I know, I know. This one is short. >_< Review please!!!!
