Ember
The daughter that they never knew they wanted, nor had they expected to have was born on the coldest night in December. Wind raged around the house so much so that Jason was forced to use his power to prevent it from tearing the house to pieces. But unfortunalty Edward was not old enough yet or strong enough yet to help with the snow that fell so thickly that it blanked out everything outside. For this reason, Jacob and Alicia had decided to name the girl December. For even on the day that she was born, she could heat herself and anyone of the members of the family up using heat, which unbeknownst to the family signaled that she was indeed a firestarter like her ancestor and it bespoke the fire that raged within thier very souls.
Ember, as everyone came to call her, was a very happy child. Granted she was spoiled rotten by everyone that came across her and most happily by her brothers. But she wasn't spoiled in a sense that really meant much. For while they did have money, they never really needed anything that they didn't already have or could farm. While thier parents were magical, Jon, Jason, Edward and Ember actually liked tending to the gardens. The provided everything that the garden would need. Heat, wind, water, and an extremely fertile soil. They never wasted was was left over from a crop either. For thier mother Alicia strickly forebade waste. Whatever they didn't use they would either send to the school, or it would mysteriously turn up on an unsuspecting but needy neighbor.
Alas, the peace that was thier lives was not to last. They would never know until much later why. But no one could have guessed that when Alicia's fiance was suddenly killed that it was indeed Jasmine's hand at work. She didn't know the price that they would all pay because of it. Alicia while she was meant to eventually marry Jacob and have the four foreseen children, she was supposed to have married another first. But since Jasmine took her own hand to it, to help her decendant, she unknowingly changed fate. And as fate always does, it catches up to you and makes things the way that they are supposed to be. For not only did thier world come tumbling down, it came raining down in fire.
