Raul

Day turned to night and Daniel finally got the courage to venture outside the room he had awoken in. He saw the hall filled with paintings of what seem to be the same person in different dress and done in different countries. They all looked to be of the one know as Raul but the raven hair boy shock he’s head. “It’s not possible after all some of these look really old and there is no way Raul could be in all of them.” He said to himself. “They have to be pictures of he’s forefathers.” As he continued he’s walk, he found himself in a large study with book shelves from floor to ceiling. Daniel’s eyes grew wide he had never seen a study this filled with books. Walking over to the closes one he found himself picking up a book written in French another written in Spanish and a third written in Greek. “Raul must be some kind of collector, All these books have to be worth a lot!”

“They are and their some of my favorites.” Daniel jumped when he heard Raul voice from right behind him. “Didn’t mean to scare you but it seems that Rose’s soup helped out a lot. Daniel nodded. “Anyway if you want I could lend you a book to read.”

“I couldn’t I mean I wouldn’t want to ruin it.” Daniel said looking at he’s feet once he had turned to face he’s host. “because their you favorites and besides I don’t know have the languages their in.” Raul Chuckled and pulled down a book that was a bit to high for Daniel to reach.

“Try this one it’s written in old English but it’s rather good.” He said handing the book to Daniel and walking off with out another word.

“Thank you…” Daniel said but it was to late Raul had gone. Blinking a little he went to sit down on one of the chairs by a large fire place and read the book he wasn’t given. “I might as well I mean he was kind enough to led it to me. It would be rude not too.”

Marry yawned and stared at Rose who was sitting across the room reading a newspaper. She couldn’t understand why her love read such boring things but then again she also couldn‘t understand why Rose thought garlic could cure anything. “Rose I’m board lets go out and do something!” Marry whined.

“No way besides we’ve been banned from going outside cause of the misadventure we had last week.” Rose said not even bothering to look up from her copy of the New York times. Marry frowned then looked out the window sadly. “If your really that bored marry just go to the study and read one of those fairy tales you love so much.” Marry pouted and walked off towards the study.

Back at Daniel’s home his mother Lily was now awake but laying in bed sobbing. “My poor baby!” Edmund sighed as he tired his best to comfort his hysterical wife.

“Lily please clam yourself Michael and Richard are out looking now.” Edmund said placing an arm around the blond woman. “You know they always could find that bra… I mean are darling little Daniel before this time should be no difference.” He cringed to use the word darling to talk about his useless youngest child. He couldn’t even go to the flower shop with out causing some from of trouble. A knock at the door caught Edmund’s and Lily’s attention. “Come in!” As that was said a Tale Raven haired man in he’s early 20’s with one scared eye walked in the room. “Awh Michael my son please tell me you’ve found some clues.”

“Better a man named Raul Von-clad said he found Daniel and will return him in two days once his well enough to travel.” Michael sounding wearing he knew he’s father was not going to like waiting but they had no choose.

“Really my baby is safe!” Lily said quickly sitting up straight and staring right at Michael hopefully.

“Yes Mister Von-clad is a very well know doctor from Greece, so I’m sure we have nothing to worry about.” Michael reassured he’s mother.

“A Doctor well that’s all well in good but you send a message to this Von-clad and tell him that I need my son back by one day or I’ll have the police on him.” Edmund said sounding more annoyed then happy.

“Yes father.” Michael bowed and left the room closing the door quietly and cursing under his breathe. “Dam you father I bet you don’t care that he found Daniel out cold while the rain was at full force today. Then again you never cared for Daniel or even for myself not when I came back scared the way I am now.”

Marry blinked when see entered the study instead of her master sitting down and reading a book their house guest was seated comfortable reading one. She giggled to herself then walked over to a book shelf and pulled out one of her own books. “Um You’re the guest rose was telling me about aren’t you!” She said in a sing-song voice.

“Oh yes I’m Daniel Remington.” Daniel said quickly looking up from the book he was reading and blushing slightly. He was so into the book he hadn’t even heard the girl walk in.

“Names Marry nice to met cha.” She giggled and sat down in a chair next to Daniel. “Say that a hard book you got there and it’s one of the masters favorites me I prefer good old fairy tales!”

“I like fairy tales too, Miss Marry.” Daniel quickly got into he’s normal self for some reason he felt more relaxed with Marry then with rose and she seemed much more nice in the long run. “Um do you know when I might be allowed to go home and if my family knows that I’m here?”

Marry blinked for a minute she wasn’t used to people calling her miss they usually just called her girl or hey you. “Well it’s just Marry for started and I thank you for your manners and yes I do know for a fact that your brother Michael I believe is currently on he’s way home to inform your Parents about your wear abouts. As to when your going home beats me.”

“Oh But I really have to get back soon you see have to get Married.” Daniel said sound slightly worried and frightened. Marry blinked then snapped her fingers mentally

“Looks like I’m losing the bet! Darn it!” Marry whispered to herself.

“Huh!?!” Daniel said blinking.

“Oh none thing, I’m sure you can go home soon I mean the master isn’t that bad of a guy he probably just wants to make sure your really okay before he lets you go, He’s kinda funny like that.” Marry replied shoving her nose into her book as quickly as possible.

“Your master he seems really nice Marry.” Daniel said then went back to reading the book in his hands, Taking the hint that marry didn’t want to talk anymore.
