Recap;;
“And then everything went black.”
Continuing On. [[Don’t you just love my recap?]]
She didn’t remember passing out when she woke, or what happened leading up to her black out. All she remembered was seeing Leo’s face, and those haunting words of ‘Forever Mine’. Something about that simple phrase sent shivers down her spine, and she hated it. Alek felt like some little girl with a crush, but instead of affection it was fear this time.
She felt hot, and her body felt sticky from the light layer of sweat that formed on her body. It wasn’t comfortable. She shifted in the spot, finding a cool spot in the bed and relaxing thankfully into it. That is… until that spot heated up too, and she found herself uncomfortable again.
“Allie…?” A voice mumbled, once more that deep, husky growl that used to send shivers down her spine. “Oh my god, Allie!” The male, obviously Leo, leapt up from his seat beside her bed, practically tackling the girl and pinning her to the bed.
“Leo… I… Need… Air… Please.” She gasped, one eye closed in a frozen wince.
“I’m sorry, but you’ve been out for five days. I was so worried.” Leo stated, biting down on his lower lip. His eyes were red and puffy, signaling that he had indeed cried, and Alek felt touched… She didn’t know anyone that would cry for her, and she never thought anyone would cry for her.
“… Five days? What happened? I don’t remember anything.” She blinked, looking much like a deer-in-the-headlights, with her cold blue-grey eyes staring into his.
“I don’t know… You felt to the floor in pain, went blank for about an hour, and then once you returned to normal you muttered something and then blacked out. And that mark on your chest disappeared completely. The medallion did something no necklace should right before the mark went away; it seemed to dissolve into your chest. It freaked the shit out of me, as it just happened this morning. What’s going on, Allie? Who did you piss off?” Leo questioned, looking dead serious as he asked her.
Alek seemed to stumble for words, again looking like a fish gasping for… air-water. “I… I didn’t do anything, Leo! I got a letter and a box, and then this happened.” She huffed, coughing a bit afterwards and clutching at her chest. “What time is it?”
“Nine-thirty at night. You’ve been comatose for five days.” Five days… wait, five moons. In five days there were five—Oh shit. Leo’s eyes widened as he recalled what Alek said the letter said. “Allie… Something’s coming for you. And soon…” He stated quietly, looking at her as she looked up.
“What? Leo. Stop trying to trip me out. Just because I have no fucking idea what happened means you can fuck with my head. That’s cold, bro..” Alek rolled her eyes, turning over and burying her head into a pillow and groaning. Her body was burning up, and she felt like she was going to pass out.
“No… Do you remember that letter?” He questioned, looking down after a moment of staring at his skeptical best friend.
“Yeah…” She replied, looking at him as if he was insane. He most likely was…
“It said ‘five moons’… That’s five days. Tonight is the fifth moon…” He stated simply, watching as Alek’s eyes grew to an almost impossible size.
“You’re a very intuitive boy.” A voice murmured, a pair of yellow-gold eyes appearing in the darkness of her bedroom, peering at both Alek and Leo. “But you’re going to get in the way. Be gone with you, child.” He demanded, his glare seeming to bore a hole through the teenager’s head.
Leo grimaced, falling away from Alek, clutching his head now. He whimpered in pain as he fell to the floor, the pain increasing slowly but surely. “Ah.. make it stop..” He pleaded in a small voice, Alek springing into a sitting position and gasping. She attempted to get to his side by climbing off his bed, but something was holding her back.
“Stop!” She cried out, watching as her best friend shed a few tears. Was the pain really that worse? “Let me go!”
“Shut up, woman!” The male snarled, not taking his gaze from Leo. The rest of his body was still hidden by the darkness, only his eyes seen. A snap sounded, implying that he’d snapped his fingers and Alek was rendered speechless. Literally. No sound would come when she spoke. Another went off, and Leo fell to the floor, now peaceful.
“There… Now the pain has stopped, and it won’t ever come back.” He looked to Alek as she attempted to scream, a wicked smirk curling onto his face. Too bad she couldn’t see it.
He began forward, that smirk never leaving his face as he noticed she wouldn’t stop staring at him. Finally a bit of moon light hit him, revealing most of his features. He was unnaturally handsome, and she couldn’t take her eyes away. Fire engine red hair was messy on his head, falling into his yellow-gold eyes perfectly. His skin was pale, beautifully pale and seeming to glow. He didn’t look alive at all.
Perfectly tailored clothing fit his body like a glove, framing his wonderfully sculpted body. His clothing seemed to have come from the 1500’s, making him look regal, standing there like he was someone very important. He was near perfection in her eyes, though those sharp canine teeth did somewhat put her at unease.
“Wh-what’d you do to him?!” She questioned, looking completely horrified, tears collecting in the corners of her eyes as she tore away from looking at Leo and to the stranger.
“It’s obvious. He couldn’t take the pain, so it destroyed him.” He explained simply, his deep voice husky, sending another wave of shivers down her spine. He noticed to affect he had on her, and he took a step forward. She flinched back, causing him to growl angrily. “Do not move away from me, Alekandra!” He roared, reaching forward and grasping her wrist tightly.
“You are mine. Only mine. I own you, and I will not tolerate any disobediences.” He sneered, pulling her close to his face. She could feel his warm breath rolling down her face, smelling like peppermint and a slight hint of cigarettes. Her eyes fluttered shut without her consent, a soft sigh slipping from her lips as she relaxed into him. What was going on with her body? It wasn’t supposed to be reacting to someone like that! She whimpered, her eyes snapping open.
’Wait… why am I acting so fearfully towards him?’ She thought, a sudden defiance filling her eyes and expression. She wouldn’t let him control her, no way. Wrenching her arm from his grasp, Alek scoffed.
“I belong to no one, and it’s going to stay that way. Get out of my house.” She snarled, and next thing she knew there was a sharp sting on her cheek, her head whipped to the side. Slowly, she began to look back towards the male, eyes wide, but a pain surged through her body and she fell to her knees.
She didn’t notice as the other walked towards her slowly, just until he stood just inches from her hunched over body, smiling evilly as he looked down. He knelt before her, reaching out and pulling her into his arms. After a moment of just holding her pain racked body, he stood and tossed her to the bed roughly. She curled into herself, whimpering pathetically. He crawled towards her, kneeling over her body possessively.
A look flashed through his eyes, and her body straightened out, laying flat on her back on the bed, spread eagle. The man still straddled her body, obviously not at all put off by how she moved.
Alek’s eyes snapped open, and she whimpered again as one of his hands ventured beneath her shirt, caressing the skin and oh-so easily coaxing a moan from her lips. He grinned.
“Mm… I like that sound, angel, do it again.” He purred, moving down and nuzzling her neck. She didn’t, squeezing her eyes tightly shut and ignoring the feeling that rolled through her body. Why did it have to be so good?
He frowned, digging sharp nails into her side. “I said moan again.” He growled, glaring at her dangerously. “I want to hear it again, and you won’t deny me.”
