Bite It
Message sent. Risha’s mouth quirked and he shut his phone, placed it on the bedside table. Sitting down on the mattress, he dragged a hand through his hair, licked his lips unconsciously. The motion reminded him of Kyosuke’s actions at the event, the way he’d been kissed with no shame. And the boy had tasted so sweet, all blood and tears. His teeth had been itching afterwards, the hunger coming on him suddenly. He’d had to ask Yuuen to bare his neck to him afterwards to quell the hunger.
Frowning, Risha ran a thumb over his lips. The boy’s blood had been sweet but tinged with something…it wasn’t like anything he’d tasted before. Throwing off his shirt, Risha fell against the bedspread as dawn bloomed over the horizon, closed his eyes with a smile as he thought of the coming night. Oh, but this would be fun.
Hunter’s moon again, and I walk the path I’ve taken so many times. My feet make no sound, rattle of insects in the grass quieting as I pass. But I am not alone this time.
I look to my right, see a great black wolf loping along beside me. Sasha. Almost as if he feels the weight of my gaze, he pauses, turns golden eyes on me, cocks his shaggy head. I reach down, lay my hand on his neck and he sits.
I look to my left, see another wolf, this one smaller, fur dusky golden and brown. Alban. She too pauses, turns those slitted golden eyes on me. I run a finger down her snout, pat her head and turn back to the path.
I do not look behind me. I know what I would see, and I have no stomach for dead bodies right now. The hem of my yukata is already soaked with blood, the deep red of it looking like some exotic dye.
Ahead, a figure detaches from the shadows, great wings unfurling behind him. A beautiful face shrouded in darkness forms, turns great impassive eyes towards me, but the creature still falls in step behind us. Yuuen. And we move forward, the red light of the hunter’s moon guiding our steps.
Suddenly, a shadow falls across my path, and I look forward. A human figure. It doesn’t move closer, but doesn’t move away either. I try to meet his eyes, but when I look to his face, my retinas burn. The wolves at my side pause, then move forward to snuffle at the hands of the Other, whining and looking between us. I call their names – their human names – but they stay by the Other’s side, and soon he is smiling that damnable smile at me, holding out his hand, beckoning me to dance…calling my name…
“Risha.” Opening his eyes, Risha looked to the side of the bed, was almost surprised when he didn’t see that shadowy figure. Instead, a blonde-haired girl stood there. She raised an eyebrow, and looked at him over her spectacles.
“Risha, you said you would see to this today, but you’ve slept most of daylight away, and I hear you have a…date with some new plaything of yours. I’m sorry to wake you, but I must have you at least look over this.”
“Alban, what – are those the papers for the European branches?”
Nodding, the girl sifted through the papers. “Proposals and budget projections.” She handed him the packet and moved to sit in a chair facing the bed, crossed her legs and flicked a piece of hair our of her eyes, smirked at him. “Just ok it for now –we can make changes later. I wouldn’t want to keep you from this boy of yours.”
Risha shook his head, glanced over the papers. “He’s not mine.”
Cocking her head and pinning Risha with a golden gaze, Alban smiled. “Yet, you mean. I hear he’s quite persistent.”
Putting the papers aside, Risha leaned over and opened one of the drawers in his bedside table. “Speaking of my…boy. Would you hand this to the bouncer at Capricorn with orders to give it to Kyosuke when he arrives?” Pulling a small object out, Risha held it out to Alban, who took it with an amused grin.
“I will. Will the bouncer recognize this Kyosuke?”
“Yes.”
“Well, then.” Alban leaned over, took the papers away. “I’ll contact the heads of the branches in France and Switzerland. Oh, and have fun tonight, President.” Risha met Alban’s golden eyes, matched her smile, and nodded. She left without another word, and with a sigh, ha rose and moved to the closet. He would have to dress to impress – Kyosuke wasn’t the only special guest he was expecting tonight.
Kyosuke didn’t meet the bouncer’s eyes as he passed him his money, but ha was startled when the bouncer whispered something to his partner and pulled Kyosuke aside. Handing back the money, the bouncer flicked his blue tongue at Kyosuke and pulled something out of his pocket.
“Cover’s on the President tonight, boya. And the boss asked me to give you this.” Holding out his hand, the bouncer took Kyosuke’s arm and opened his palm, dropped something metallic into it. “Wear it. For your own good.”
Looking down, Kyosuke saw a heavy silver chain, short enough to be a choker. There was a pendant attached to it shaped like a small shield with a crest. Bringing the necklace up, Kyosuke scowled as he read the kanji on it. Hamarasachi. He was being given a collar complete with nametag.
“Need help putting it on, boya?” The bouncer leered, forked tongue flicking between his teeth, and Kyosuke hastily shook his head, reached around to unhook the chain and put it on. It was heavy, the cold metal soon warming against his skin, the pendant falling between at the v of his collarbone. Catching his reflection in the window of the club, he realized how much the shine of the chain stood out against his plain black t-shirt and dark jeans.
Kyosuke entered the club warily, moved to the bar and quietly ordered a soda. He didn’t want to drink tonight – he need to be on his guard. He was sure Hamarasachi had something planned for him, and getting drunk wasn’t going to help him. Grabbing his drink, Kyosuke stammered an apology as he ran into a necking couple moving unsteadily towards the door. One of them gave him a dirty look as he disengaged from his partner’s neck, and Kyosuke goggled – there was blood on his lips.
Suddenly, a hand wound it’s way around his neck, lifted up the pendant at the base of his neck.
“It suits you.” Turning, Kyosuke couldn’t think of anything to say as he took in Risha’s appearance. It was the most casual he’d seen the man – dark slacks and a deep red shirt made of some clingy material, all complimenting his coloring.
“Thanks. So. I’m here, as asked.” Kyosuke looked down, hoped the darkness in the club hid his blush. Risha’s fingers on his neck had made the skin there prickle, echoes of the sensation still making him shiver.
Risha’s mouth quirked into something that would have been a smile if it lacked some of the malice. “Shall I get straight to the point, Kyosuke?” Barely even waiting for him to nod, Risha leaned in so Kyosuke could hear over the boom of the music and spoke.
“You want me. I trust now that you’re pursuing me purely out of personal reasons. And your boldness is…appealing.” Risha reached out, grasped Kyosuke’s chin firmly, forced him to meet Risha’s eyes. “Congratulations. You’ve caught my interest.”
A shiver ran down Kyosuke’s spine. Why did he feel more fear than joy in Risha’s last statement? This was what he wanted…
“And now, you get your chance to prove your worth.” With a sudden yank, Risha used his grip on Kyosuke’s face to pull him close, place a chaste kiss on his lips. “Take off your shirt.”
“What?!?” Pulling back, Kyosuke looked wildly at the other man. “Prove my – what do you mean, take off my shirt?”
“If you want me, you’re going to have to let me claim you in this community. Without my support, you’ll be taken for a fool.”
“Why – why do you have to…claim me? Can’t we just – “ Kyosuke tried not to jump as Risha suddenly spun him around, placed one hand over his neck, fingers caressing the skin there, placed the other around him waist. Pulling Kyosuke tight against him, front to back, Risha pressed his mouth close to Kyosuke’s ear.
“It may take a while to get this through your thick head, but the people here aren’t quite the normal clientele of a Tokyo club. Surely you’ve noticed that.” Kyosuke shivered as Risha’s lips brushed the lobe of his ear, thought back on the bouncer and his forked tongue, the drag queen who seemed to have a tail, the creature with those fiery eyes that accosted him the first night.
“Capricorn has long been a haven for those things that are other than human. Demons, you can call them, creatures that walk in the shadow and flame.”
“And you – “
“I am among them, yes. And so, in order for them to accept you, you must let me claim you. It is practically law in this world.”
“Claim – why must – “
The hand around Kyosuke’s neck tightened, the arm at his waist moving up until he felt Risha’s cool fingers on the sensitive skin of his belly.
“You’re protesting too much, Kyosuke. For a man who forced me to do so many things yesterday, you seem quite reluctant today. You can forfeit this claim, forfeit my protection, though it would mean that someone – or something – here would take my place. You’re already wearing my mark – “ Risha’s fingers brushed the chain around Kyosuke’s neck. “It sets you apart, makes you more…appealing to the clientele here. See, they’re already waiting for you to reject me so they can have a chance at you.”
At Risha’s words, Kyosuke looked up, met the eyes of many people who were gazing at him like he was a piece of meat. Large men – or not-men if Kyosuke was to believe Risha’s words – with eyes that seemed crueler than anything he’d had seen before. With a start, Kyosuke realized that Risha was moving to unclasp the chain from around his neck. He brought a hand up, covered Risha’s to stop him.
“No! No, please – I’ll allow the claim, just don’t – “
Risha chuckled, the sound reverberating through Kyosuke’s body. Risha then he leaned down, placed his lips on Kyosuke’s neck. Shivering, Kyosuke had a flash of the couple he’d first seen when he came here tonight, of the man with blood on his lips, but he was soon lost in the feel of Risha’s tongue dabbing at his skin. With a quick nip to the sensitive skin of Kyosuke’s neck, Risha pulled away, but tightened his hold on the boy, moved his hand from the boys neck up to his face, cupped at his jaw, ran his thumb over Kyosuke’s bottom lip.
“May I have your attention, everyone?” Risha’s voice rang out suddenly, and amazingly, every voice in Capricorn quieted, faces turning towards them. “Thank you. If you do not know me, I am the owner of this club, And this is Kyosuke.” Risha used his hold on Kyosuke’s jaw to raise his head. “From now onwards, he is mine. We all know how possessive my type can be.” A chuckle went up from the patrons; Kyosuke’s blood went cold.
“I claim this boy as mine. Is anyone in objection?” Risha paused, looked around. “No? Then, I will let you return to your personal activities. Thank you for your time.”
Kyosuke felt Risha’s lips against his neck quirk into a grin, didn’t know whether he wanted to moan or run. It was like he’d been tricked– first he prodded at the tiger in the cage because he wanted to touch it so badly, but now the tiger was out of its cage and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to play with it anymore.
“Now, Kyosuke, shall we go somewhere more private?” Taking a step back, Risha pulled Kyosuke with him towards the back rooms. “I’m sure you know what comes next.”
Feeling dizzy, Kyosuke wasn’t sure whether he had any blood left in his face between the humiliation of being claimed like a pet in front of everyone and the mass migration of blood to his groin. Letting himself be led, he watched as Risha went into an area with elevators, then got into one and rode it up a few floors. Still trapped by Risha’s hand on his throat, Kyosuke walked docilely into a room that was decorated in the minimalist style. Black leather couches lined three of the walls, a mahogany desk the only furniture in the middle of the room, pushed back close to the one empty wall.
It was only now that Risha let go of him. Almost unconsciously, Kyosuke reached up to rub at his neck, test the weight of the pendant against his skin. Risha only smiled, and pointed behind him.
“Go stand in front of that desk, arms at your sides.” Kyosuke hesitated, looked to Risha uncertainly. “That wasn’t a request.”
Slowly, Kyosuke walked to the desk, turned to face Risha once he reached his destination.
“Good boy.” Moving close, Risha pressed against him, slid his cheek along Kyosuke’s as he reached behind him, started nibbling on his earlobe. There was a metallic clank, and then Risha moved away. Eyes widening, Kyosuke felt cold against his wrists, looked down to see manacles clamped to his arms with chains leading to metal loops on the surface of the desk.
“What? Hamarasachi, what are – “
“Call me Risha. It’s only adequate since we’re going to be so intimately acquainted.”
“Why did you chain me…Risha?”
“Insurance.”
Kyosuke snorted. “I would think you’ve made it clear enough that I don’t have a choice. I’m not going to run away when I know what my options are if I do so.”
“Liar. Your hands were shaking downstairs. Your heart was going a mile a minute.”
Kyosuke flushed, looked down. “That’s called arousal.”
“Odd. I took it for fear.” Risha shrugged, twirled a key around his finger. “Besides, I thought you may change your mind once our guests arrived.”
“Guests?” Kyosuke looked to Risha’s face, only to see him moving towards the entrance to greet a pair of men in suits. One turned to look at Kyosuke, who gasped when he saw the newcomer’s eyes – an odd shade of orange, the pupils slitted like a cat’s. Pointed ears peeked from his hair, and as he extended his hand to shake Risha’s, Kyosuke saw webbing between his fingers, also a bright orange color.
More men came in, Kyosuke watching helplessly, every now and again shifting his hands, making the chains clank. Most looked normal, but when Kyosuke examined them harder, he found odd little attributes. Demons, Risha had said. More than human. It explained many of the mysteries Kyosuke had encountered at Capricorn, and seeing these men – or not-men – with their pointed teeth and spotted skin and clawed hands almost proved it.
Kyosuke watched with curiosity as one last man entered and Risha paused in thought before going to meet him. Risha seemed…he wasn’t as assured as with the other guests - Kyosuke could see it. Looking to the newcomer, Kyosuke felt his heartbeat skyrocket as the man looked towards him at the same moment.
Violet. His eyes were violet. Impossible. Looking away, Kyosuke gulped. The man exuded the same confidence and appeal that Risha did, but in a different way. Kyosuke snuck another glance towards the door. Tall, olive-skinned, hair jet black and pulled into a braid. When he turned, Kyosuke’s eyes widened when he saw the length – the braid went to his waist. And yet it didn’t make him seem womanish. Kyosuke couldn’t help but wonder what it would look like down…
Suddenly, Risha was close again, running a finger down his cheek in a mockery of a caress.
“Our guests have arrived. Now we can start.” Risha grinned. “Just try to focus on me, and forget about them. It’ll make it easier.”
Kyosuke’s brows quirked. “What do you mean, forget about them?”
“Forget about them when I take you in front of them.”
“T-t-take me? As in – “
“Yes. Now open your mouth.”
“Risha, I – “ Taking advantage of Kyosuke’s surprise, Risha swooped in, thrust his tongue in his mouth, sealed his lips over Kyosuke’s. Choking into the kiss, Kyosuke tried to bring his arms up to push Risha away only to have them stop short; the chains clanked in protest to his fierce movement. Risha smiled into the kiss when he heard the chains rattle, nipped at Kyosuke’s lower lip before he pulled away to nuzzle at his neck. Between kisses, Risha spoke quietly.
“Now, I don’t want to hear anything but moans from you. If you embarrass me in front of my guests, I’ll be very displeased.” Reaching down, running a hand over the bulge in Kyosuke’s jeans, Risha chucked at Kyosuke’s choked moan. “Begging is allowed as well. If you do it prettily.”
With a quick pull, Risha ripped Kyosuke’s shirt in two, let the shreds fall down his arms to catch on the chains before moving on to unbutton his jeans. Flicking at a nipple, watching Kyosuke’s face turn purple in humiliation and need, Risha knelt, tugged at the other man’s jeans until they fell to his ankles.
“Raise you leg, Kyosuke.” Closing his eyes, he complied, turned his face into his shoulder as Risha pulled his jeans off. “Now the other. And no underwear – naughty boy.”
Sliding back up the length of the other man’s body, Risha made sure that the boy felt every clothed inch of him against his naked skin. The boy reacted beautifully too, trying to hide his face even as his breath fluttered in his throat.
“Now, I would take this slower – give you a prize for being so good – but this more about me than you.” Grasping at Kyosuke’s face again, Risha turned it back to their audience, the men watching and whispering quietly amongst themselves. “Open your eyes. Look at them. They are the rulers of the underworld, leaders and gang bosses that command demon hierarchies to rival any human society. And I am proving my worth by taking a worthy pet, proving my strength by claiming and protecting you. Now, you won’t do anything stupid will you, Kyosuke?”
Kyosuke gazed almost blindly at the so called rulers of the night. Less than twenty of them, but still…He gasped when the violet-eyed man smiled at him. Risha noticed his alarm, followed his gaze to the strange braided man.
“Don’t mind him. Focus on me.” Risha flicked at a nipple, dragged a hand down to caress Kyosuke’s hip. “I can’t do much else than take you, but I’ll make it good. Now, spread your legs.”
Kyosuke met Risha’s eyes. Compared to the unknown watchers, Risha made him feel almost safe. It was almost alright that he was here, chained to the desk, about to be taken in front of so many people. Because he knew Risha would protect him, if it came to it, he was strong and he would…
Without warning, Risha slid a hand between his legs, swiped a slick finger over his hole.
“Take a deep breath.” Risha kissed Kyosuke then, gently, tongue moving in slowly even as he breached Kyosuke with two fingers. Choking with the two sensations – the sweet rub of Risha’s tongue over his, and the odd intrusion that was Risha’s fingers inside him, Kyosuke felt his thighs start to shake.
“Here.” Wrapping an arm around his waist, Risha used it as leverage to lift Kyosuke up to the surface of the desk with his hips slanted forwards. Risha then moved in between Kyosuke’s legs, started speading his fingers apart, stretching Kyosuke surely. Curling into himself against the odd sensation, shoulders hunching, Kyosuke moaned brokenly when Risha pressed his fingers up suddenly, pressed against some fleshy spot inside him that made his cock jerk and his hole clench around Risha’s fingers.
“Ah, there.” Risha licked a stripe up Kyosuke’s neck, smiled when the boy sobbed in desperation. “Now, put your arms around my neck. The chains should be long enough.” Complying, Kyosuke clenched his hands in Risha’s silver hair, waited as the other man unzipped his slacks and slicked himself, moans coming out in spurts and hiccups.
“Don’t forget to breath, Kyosuke.” And with that, there was suddenly a pressure against his hole. Slowly, but steadily, Risha pressed in, the boy’s arms tightening around him as he buried himself in Kyosuke’s sweet warmth. Soon, he was sheathed, the boy’s insides quivering around his length.
“Breath.” Risha slanted his hips, pulled almost all the way out and then pushed back in. Sobbing, Kyosuke caught his mouth in a desperate kiss, all power to speak lost in the slide of his flesh against Risha’s. He’d never been taken before, never felt this consuming friction, reveled in the pull of Risha’s body to his. Breaking the kiss, Risha grunted as he sped up his thrusts, starting to hit that sweet spot inside Kyosuke with every jerk of his hips.
“Gods, Kyosuke – you’re so tight. It’s like – you’re – pulling me – in…” Kyosuke linked his ankles together behind Risha’s back, buried his face in Risha’s neck as the feelings started to be too much, the slide of Risha’s cock inside him making his head spin. Suddenly, Risha grasped at Kyosuke’s hardness between them, pressed his thumb into the slit, started fisting the shaft roughly. With one last sob, Kyosuke was almost surprised as his insides clenched hard around Risha’s length and he came, soiled the hem of Risha’s shirt. With a groan, Risha sped up his hips until his thrusts were nothing more than short jabs, then froze. Kyosuke gave a last pitiful moan as he felt Risha’s cock jerk inside him before the other man pulled out.
“There now, Kyosuke, it’s done.” Risha leaned in, pressed a closed-mouth kiss to Kyosuke’s lips, ran a hand over the pendant on his neck. “Never take this off.” Without another word, Risha zipped himself back up, then reached behind Kyosuke, unlocked the cuffs on his wrists, pulled him into Risha’s arms. As he were a child, Risha lifted Kyosuke, swung his legs up to carry him like a bride. Half-conscious, Kyosuke felt himself carried over to the couches, listened as Risha made some small talk with the men who’d watched, fending off compliments and offers.
“Impressive.” Kyosuke wrapped his arms tighter around Risha’s neck when the violet-eyed man stood suddenly in front of them. “I’ve heard of the great Risha, but to see you in action – “
“Thank you. Not to be rude, but my pet is tired and I would like to attend to him. If you would excuse me…”
“Of course.” Stepping aside, the violet-eyed man reached out, caught a piece of Kyosuke’s dark hair between his fingers. “Just lovely.” Flinching away, Kyosuke tried to burrow deeper into Risha’s chest. It was unmanly, but faced with this stranger and his odd eyes, Kyosuke could only muster fear.
To Kyosuke’s relief, Risha moved away, and then out of the room, back to the elevators. Drifting, Kyosuke barely noticed the transitions. Elevator to a long hallway, then a car with smooth leather seats, then Risha’s arms again as was carried into a huge apartment decorated in shades of white and beige. And then a soft bed, and a quick kiss on his forehead, a whispered voice.
“Goodnight, Kyosuke.” Closing his eyes, Kyosuke felt warmer than he had in years, felt safe. All this time playing the role of the strong one, chasing around weak womanish boys, when all he had to do was give up his worry to someone who was stronger, could carry him in sure arms. Perhaps this was where he was supposed to be, warm and protected and...
Sleep opened its arms, and Kyosuke fell into the dark embrace of slumber.
