Love at last

When Kita saw who was standing in front of her she turned as white as a ghost and put her



hand to her mouth, she could not believe what she was seeing, could it really be Nate



McKenzie.

Kita’s thoughts were interrupted when Victoria ran up to her and said, “ Mommy why are



you late?, she the paused then looked and her mom and said and why are you looking at



Angel’s dad like that?”.



That’s when Nate stuck out his hand and said, “Nate McKenzie, nice to meet you”.



Kita then stuck out and said, “Kita Johnson, she paused went up to him gave him a big hug



started crying and said I’ve missed you so much Nate”.



Nate just held her in his arms crying and said “Kita I’ve missed you more then you could



ever know”.

All three of the girls just stood there looking at Nate and Kita wondering what was going



on.

Alexia and Angel knew that they had heard the names Nate and Kita. Which they had



because both of the eight year olds had seem their parents with a picture of the other



and got told that they were a former love Alexia had been told that he was Victoria’s



Dad and that he had a daughter Named Angel. While Angel had never been told about



Victoria because Nate was never sure if Kita had kept her, all that angel was told was



that he had loved Kita and that Kita had a daughter named Alexia.



Alexia always being a bit smarter then she should be finally figured out that Nate was



Victoria’s Dad and she could no longer keep quite, and said “Mommy I need to talk to you



and I need to talk to you now!” Alexia said tugging on her mom’s shirt.



Kita sighed and said, “Lexi baby whatever it is can it please wait a few minutes, I



really don’t want to move right now”.



Lexi looked at her mom and said “no mommy it really can’t I need to talk to you now and I



really don’t want to say anything around Angel or Victoria”.



Kita pulled away from Nate and said, “I’m sorry but I have to go deal with Alexia before



she has a freak out because those are not a pretty site”.



Before Kita could say anything Alexia went up to her little sister and said, “Vicky stay



here with Angel and your… I mean Angel’s dad”.



“Alexia McKayla Isabella Johnson go outside now, I will be right out there” Kita said to



her oldest daughter with a mad stare on her face.



Lexi did as she was told and went outside to wait for her mom she knew that she was going



to be in trouble for her last comment.



Before going outside Kita went up to Nate and told him that she was going to go talk to



Lexi and then she thought that they should all go out for supper because they all needed



to talk and the sooner would be the better. Nate nodded his head and said that he would



wait with the two girls and when she was done talking to Lexi for her to meet them by



his car on the other side of the building. Kita agreed then went outside to talk to Lexi.

As soon as Kita went outside she could tell that Lexi had been crying and as mad as she



was at her she still had to go over to her and see what was wrong.



“Lexi baby why are you crying?” Kita asked her.



“I’m sorry mommy I will never do anything like that again but please don’t hit me I’m



really sorry but I was only telling the truth Nate is Vicky’s daddy and I wanted them to



know” Lexi said all through tears.



Kita went over to her and put her on her lap and then she started to talk, “ok first baby



I would never ever, ever hit you and if your dad’s doing that again then you need to



tell me because then you should not be going to his house, next you are right that is



the truth Nate is Victoria’s dad but none of the three in there knew that, I think that



Nate has some idea but I don’t think that he knows for sure and I want to be the one to



tell him, do you understand Lexi?”.



Lexi looked at her then acting like her mom she said, “ok first mommy daddy did hit me



and today he grabbed me and shacked me and Nate took me away from daddy and took me out



for lunch with him and Angel, he’s really nice mommy I like him, next I promise that I



will not say anything to any of the three of them but then you have to promise that you



will tell all of them today, ok mommy?”



“Ok Lexi baby I will tell them everything today and I will also asked Nate about what



happened earlier today but for now we should really get going so that we can all have



supper and then we can all talk and everyone can know the truth so lets go” Kita said



talking Lexi off her lap and taking her hand and walking over to Nate, Angel and



Victoria.



As soon as they got over to Nate’s car Angel grabbed Lexi’s hand and said you can sit in



the middle between me and your sister.



Lexi looked at her mom and said, “can I mommy or are we going to take the bus?”



Nate bent down looked at her and said, “you can defiantly sit there because we are all



going out for supper and then we are either going to your house or mine because we all



need to talk and if your mom does not want to ride in the car with us she can take the



bus at meet us at the restaurant”.



All three girls laughed and Lexi got in the car and put on her seat belt, by this time



Kita was already in the car and ready to go.



Nate looked at Kita and said, “Well I guess you do want to ride with us after all”



Kita just shook her head and said “I never said I didn’t want to you just assumed I



didn’t, and Nate you should remember that when you assume with me you make an ass out of



yourself”.

Nate smiled and said, “I guess something’s never change”.



On the way to the restaurant they all decided that they would get a pizza to go because



the all wanted to talk and find out what was going on because only Kita and Alexia



seemed to know the whole story.
