chapter three:
Surviving humans and dolls alike were scattered to the
winds. Small settlements were formed and destroyed, as the opppsers and supporteres of the doll race fought. The dolls withdrew as well as they could, and technology declined. everything, all the medicinal advancements...computers of the sixth generation of true human interface...the great metal ships. all were destroyed in the blasts...not one scrap of machine worked metal remained...all save for the dolls. The dolls retreated to their seperate habitats as first assigned by the one the doll race called 'creator' the doll race was so like the humans at times, and so unlike them. They could co-exist with anything, in any habitat, they could change their nature, and they could learn. They were all intelligent, perhaps more so than humans, and somehow, the original rules stayed firm, even after the event of 6030. Some say that the event was the death of a child, and others say that the news was only a myth cover some other deviation. The humans on both sides rebuilt their homes and carried on. The supporters of the dolls co-existing with the natural world as best they could, helped and loved by the doll race, who seemed content balanceing nature, which seemed to still be their purpose. and those who despised the doll race vainly sought to re-create the selfish technologys and luxiuries they once knew, and they cared not for fellow humans or for the planet they so blatantly desicrated. The towns they built were for their own comfort and often caused awful damage to the land they occupied.
