Plotting Suicides
Chapter 3; Plotting Suicides
For my next attempt at noon on Monday, I decided to fulfill one of my earliest fantasies. I had to go shopping on Sunday to find the right kind of belt, but now I was ready. I was sitting on my bed and had both pillow and belt in hand when I heard tapping at my window. When I looked up I couldn’t see anything but the sky and trees, but I knew that someone was there.
I didn’t hesitate; I dropped the items from my hands, stood and opened the window with one swift movement.
Before I knew it I was lying on my back with someone on top of me. I’d heard the window slam shut and the blinds fall over it, darkening my usually sunny room, but I hadn’t seen the person in question do it. It took me a while to register what he looked like.
His skin was dark, that’s what I first noticed. I couldn’t tell how dark without turning a light on, but I assumed his skin was a pale shade of brown. His eyes were golden, almost like a cat’s, and they seemed to dig into my very soul. He was certainly older than me by at least a year or two. His dark hair hung over my face as he stared into me, and I was captivated from the start.
“You didn’t play yesterday, Edric.” He pouted quietly, then he let his face linger closer as he offered me a devilish smile, showing off some rather impressive fangs.
“I needed to buy more supplies.” I replied instinctively. I never thought to ask how he knew my name. I knew at once that he was my nightly savior.
“What? The belt?” he asked me, glancing over at it, “I could help you play, Edric. It’s more fun when you’re not alone you know. All you need to do is ask.”
I gazed up at him in wonder, and he stroked my neck affectionately with his gentle, clawed fingers. I got the feeling that he knew me very well.
“How could I have asked you?” I asked, “You never even introduced yourself.”
“That’s true, isn’t it?” the young man replied, giving me a strange look, “I’ve been watching you for a very long time Edric. I’d forgotten that we had yet to meet.”
He leaned back against my thighs and dipped his other hand down with the first, tracing his fingers from both hands down my neck like it fascinated him, and I shivered pleasantly under his touch.
“You can call me Thorne,” he spoke with a voice as smooth as silk as he ran his fingers through my dark brown hair, “And I am a being that feeds off of dark lusts and deep sins. I’ve been fueling your desires with incentives and subtle ideas. Have I pleased you so far?”
“You…?” I was having a hard time thinking straight. I blinked a few times, “Fueling…so it was you who made me like this?”
“Certainly.” He replied pleasantly, “Without me, you wouldn’t have had the resolve to go as far as you did.”
“Oh...” I blinked again and got lost in those eyes. I was fairly sure he was hypnotizing me. “Was I really that easy to tempt?”
Thorne nuzzle my cheek and chuckled.
“Don’t feel bad, all humans are rather malleable creatures.” He assured me smoothly, “Only the very spiritually aware are able to resist the temptations we lay before them.”
“So…what are you exactly? A demon?” I asked as I sat up, intrigued.
“Yes, of a certain order.” Thorne said, nodding, “Just think of me as your personal dark genie, willing to make your most sinister desires a reality with absolutely no consequence to you.”
“No consequences?” I repeated stupidly, “You mean how I wasn’t hurt after…?”
“Exactly.” Thorne got off of me completely and sat beside me instead, “Although it goes much further than that, Edric. Let’s say you wanted to murder someone alright? I could bring them back immediately afterwards with their memories erased. Or, if you’d rather they stayed dead, I could avert the blame and pin it on someone you aren’t very fond of. Understand?”
I sat up and looked at him in awe.
“You’d do that for me?” I asked. He nodded. I wrinkled a tentative brow, “Why?”
At that, he smiled very sensually.
“I told you Edric,” he said with a wink, “I feed off of these dark energies, these lusts and sins…every perverted or terrible thing you do will only make me stronger.”
I cocked my head to the side curiously.
“What happens when you get tired of me? Or when you get strong enough?” I asked him, “Will I go to Hell or something when I die?”
At that, Thorne laughed at me.
“Poor little human. There’s no such thing as a Hell.” He waved a dismissive hand at me, “All humans go to the same afterlife and are welcomed by the same deity. But you could, if you wanted to, become a demon like me later on. And one rarely gets tired of free food, just to tell you,” Thorn gestured to his stomach, “We really do feed off of these energies, Edric. Without them we grow weak and vulnerable. It’s not a matter of collecting power and becoming any stronger than usual. It’s just sustenance.”
I thought about that for a moment, then I smiled.
“I guess this means I’ve gone sick in the head, for a human anyway.” I muttered and giggled to myself. It felt good not to have to care. “You know, I can’t seem to remember what I was like before now. Before all of this. It’s like that personality was overwritten.”
“More like overshadowed.” Thorne offered helpfully, “Like I said, when I eventually leave, if you like, you can stay this way and I’ll make you a demon. Otherwise I’ll lift the shadow, and you can go back to the way you were. The 'you' right here and now is not the same person that you were originally, that's why you probably can't really remember anything about yourself. But it's completely reversible. Sound good?”
I liked Thorne. Every fiber in my being was telling me that I liked him very much. He would humor me and I would feed him well. It was a good arrangement. I smiled at him and nodded.
“Well then Edric.” Thorne rested both his hands on the sides of my face and came so close that our noses brushed together, “What would you like to do now? What sort of game should we play?”
My heart was beating quickly. I was so excited that I could hardly contain it. I had so much freedom now, so much unlimited potential…
I took both of his hands in mine and placed them around my neck, smiling at him.
“I want to know what it feels like,” I told him honestly, “When someone else does it to me…”
Thorne smiled at me warmly as he leaned over me, gripping my neck slightly and pushing me down onto my back. I just stared up at those bright yellow eyes, trusting and completely unafraid.
“Do you want me to pleasure you as well?” Thorne asked suddenly.
I blinked up at him very slowly.
“No, I want it to be pure.” I answered.
He chuckled.
“Pure sin, is it? Gladly…”
His grip tightened expertly around my throat without even hesitating, I barely had time to exhale. I closed my eyes as I felt the usual rush flood into to me. Two days without this was far too long…I stroked Thorne’s arms and appreciatively as he strangled me, smiling sweetly as I felt the pain start.
I winced, and Thorne carefully lifting one hand, the other still carefully clasped to my neck, crushing my windpipe. He placed his free hand on my chest and smiled widely.
“I’m going to make things even better for you, Edric.” He said gently, stroking up my now trembling chest with his hand.
And as his hand swept over me, all of the pain melted into nothing, and I was left with a throbbing pleasure instead. My eyes were wide in shock and I dropped my hands to my sides as I gazed up into those eyes, confused but delighted. Because the pain wasn’t there, my arms weren’t flailing and struggling of their on volition. I could now choose to resign my body to its death… or near-death as the case may be. I wanted to laugh as I felt my body tremble with an effort I didn’t even feel. I was becoming numb again, but the pleasurable buzz was still there, only growing stronger.
I glanced to the side and watched my limp fingers with blurry eyes. It was so terribly funny, twitching helplessly like it was. It was so funny, I wanted to tell it so.
I looked up and locked my cheerful gaze with Thorne’s, who was clearly enjoying himself as he killed me.
“Edric,” he cooed as he stroked my trembling smiling face, “You’re so adorable…”
My body stopped trembling and went completely limp, and just I lay there quietly and happily as the pleasure reached its peak and the darkness took me in.
***
When I woke up I found myself cradled in Thorne’s arms, comfortable and satisfied. It was only then that I noticed that his shirt and pants were covered in blue strings and purple beads. Curious. I looked up at him like a grateful child, and he rubbed his nose against mine.
“What would you like to do now?” he asked playfully.
It didn’t take me long to figure that one out.
“I want to kill someone.” I stated plainly, like this was a very normal thing to request, “I want to rape and kill someone.” I thought for a moment, and then nodded fiercely, “Nico. I want to rape and kill Nico with my bare hands. I want to kill him.”
“How delightful.” Thorne replied eagerly, “Any particular reason you want to kill him?”
I smiled darkly.
“I want to see him… struggle.” I said quietly, growing more confident as I spoke, “I want to see him in pain, and in pleasure, and I want to see his face right before I squeeze the life out of him. I want to make him cry and beg until his body stops moving. And then I want to bring him back, and I want to torture him for a long time. He’s just so delicate…I want to break him. I want to smash him to pieces. I want to tear out his soul.”
Thorne grinned and nodded in agreement.
“You’re so forward with these things Edric.” He noted happily, “After you break this Nico, would you like to make him your pet?”
“Maybe.” I smiled more gently, “Or I might let him go in the end. Wipe him clean and let him go after I get tired of him. He’s not a bad kid, but I’d just love to have him at my mercy. Afterwards, I’ll find someone else to hurt.”
Thorne shrugged gingerly and stood up.
“Whatever you wish.” He declared, making for the window.
“Wait!” I grabbed the back of his shirt, “You’re getting him now?”
“Your parents are out tonight.” He said simply, and i didn't question how he knew about it, “And I can just place fake memories in the minds of those who are close to Nico, like his parents for instance, so that they forget about him for a while. That way you’ll have all the time you like.”
“But,” I hesitated, “Where will I keep him?”
“I’ll make a place for you to keep him dormant in the closet. Don’t worry,” he grinned at me, “I’ll take care of everything, and you just plan your games, okay? It’ll take a while to set my spells in motion, but I’ll be back after the sun goes down with your new toy, it’s really no problem.”
And with that, the blinds shot up and the window jumped open all on their own, and Thorne leapt into the sunlight and vanished. I stared after him for a few seconds, but then I stood up and brushed the dust off my pants. I had much to do, much to plan.

End of Chapter 3.
I would like to take the time to point out that this story is facked up, this main character is a complete nutcase and he's as insanely sadistic as they come, and it's only going to get worse from here. That said, if you still want to read I encourage you to do so!
Thanks to those who have reviewed so far, I'm glad that you find this story interesting! I enjoy making bizarre characters, and there will be more to come. Edric isn't the most lovable protagonist, but he gets the job done.
Again, if you have any comments, criticism or if you just like the story so far, i'd be happy to hear from you!
Wow, is it sad that my end-o'-chapter notes are all perky after a story like this one? Ah well, Enjoy!
