Chapter 3
Whoo, I have recovered from the evil pink eye. Though, I still have no contact in my left eye, so I’m doing everything half blind… Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get to the eye guy sometime this year. Here’s the next chappy, enjoy!
Thanks to Sekre and epica for reviewing!
A/N: I was looking over the last chapter, and I put that Kali was older than Zion. He’s not, he’s a year younger, Zion’s seventeen. Don’t know where that came from, but I’ll get around to fixing it soon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the night passed relatively uneventfully, which was a feat in its own with the group of people being considered. A few arguments broke out here and there over random, meaningless things, and were just as soon forgotten. Sooner than anyone wanted, the morning rays of light (and a brand new day of sitting in dull classrooms with boring lectures) reared its ugly head. Though, most of the orphanage was still snuggled up in their warm, comfy beds, the larger portion of them with an even warmer, comfier body next to them in the form of a significant other. It was inevitable that the boys, whom had lived together most if not all their lives, would form friendships, rivalries, and attractions to one another. Those that had no one to be with (such as Kali and Zion) did so more often than not out of preference. With a group that large, there was bound to be someone for everyone- sometimes even more than one for a single person, which ended in conflict and newfound bitterness by the rejected boy.
The only exception to this case was one boy, who had somehow managed to snag two of the occupants of the house. He was one of the groups of twins (there were many, surprisingly), and the elder of his pair. It was easy to see why so many were attracted to him. Not that his looks were that exotic, he was one of the more normal-looking of the group with short brown hair and bangs that fell into his eyes. He (as well as his twin, Kagami, of course) and Xi had nearly the same hair style, though Kalelle’s was a bit more grown out due to his older age. At twenty years of age, he was one of the older residents, only two others were older. His most noticeable feature (as with many of the residents) were his cat-like eyes. They seemed to glow a golden color while retaining an olive-green shade about them and mirrored those of a cat rather effectively.
Despite his rather unexciting features, he was one of the more liked boys. His calm, almost soothing aura and friendly smile relaxed the mood of most any setting. He was also the problem solver of the group, constantly comforting those who had been hurt, emotionally, but someone who had said or done something to either offend or just out right piss them off. He was like the big brother that everyone wanted that could make anything better and seemed to lighten the mood so not everything looked so doomed and depressing. Because of his peaceful and almost gentle nature, it was easy to see why so many were drawn to him. He kept his problems his own and didn’t try to make everyone else’s his, despite consoling them after a fight. In addition to being always there for everyone, he seemed to never have any conflicts of his own, whether it be with friends, family, or partners.
He was also currently making breakfast, since Kali (who normally was up and ready before everyone else) was nowhere to be seen. A slightly amused smirk crossed his face as sluggish-moving teens, awoken and arisen only by the smell of food, made their way slowly into the kitchen. He glanced over the ten or so that had made it downstairs and given up on the last few minutes of sleep that the others were still clinging onto. His attention turned to one boy in particular that looked especially drowsy. The younger boy of only about sixteen had a little longer than shoulder length black hair that was tied back in a ponytail, which was ruffled from the previous night’s sleep and other activities. His bright green eyes were glazed over with the last remnants of sleep and his tired gaze made Kalelle chuckle slightly as he placed a kiss on the other’s forehead. The action was rewarded by having the sleepy boy’s face buried in his neck as another yawn was stifled against his collarbone.
“Tired, dear?” the brunette asked, teasingly.
A tired glare was shot at him, “Your fault.”
An eyebrow quirked at the accusation, “And how might that be?”
“Like you don’t know.” The darker-haired boy muttered in between yawns, “Kept me up all night screwing.”
Kalelle shook his head at the vulgar language. Not that it was entirely a shock coming from the younger one. He was a typical teen when it came to attitude. He was loud, rash, and violent when he wanted to be (though, not near as much so as Suki), but at times when he was calmer, he was more mature than most his age. Though, that wasn’t saying much considering the group of teens they lived with, most of whom were more childish than actual children. It’s what Kalelle adored about him so much- just when you thought Sailes was just like everyone else, he’d say or do something completely unexpected.
“Of course I did, love.” The brunette said with a smirk, kissing his forehead, “Now go on and get ready for school.”
A pout almost immediately adorned the green-eyed boy’s lips, “Do I have to?” He whined, showing his more childish side in full force.
“Yes.” Another voice, belonging to none other than Zion, answered. He stalked up to the two, naturally not being a morning person, and glared, “You’re going whether you like it or not. Today’s the first day of the festival and you’re not getting out of it.”
Sailes simply rolled his eyes, “Whatever, I don’t listen to you.” He reminded the lighter-haired boy. Being the ever disobedient one, he despised following others orders that forced him to do so.
Silver eyes narrowed and a hand came up to strike the defiant one. If there was one thing Zion hated more than anything, it was people who disobeyed him. A moment before the back of the older one’s hand connected with the glaring boy’s cheek, Kalelle stepped in front of Sailes, narrowing his eyes slightly at Zion. The action caused the latter to pull away- hitting Kalelle, whether by accident or on purpose, would cause him trouble he didn’t want to deal with- and scoff, “Whatever.”
“Zion, go find Kali.” Before said boy could protest, Kalelle turned and walked off with Sailes. Not that he enjoyed being so rude, but if Zion couldn’t object, then he would more often than not just mumble about something or another and go off and do as he was told.
Sure enough, another ‘whatever’ could be heard muttered under his breath as the white-haired teen set out to find the younger boy.
He finally came across the secluded one on the roof of the orphanage. It was naturally the first place he looked- anyone who knew anything about Kali knew that he preferred hanging out on the roof to anywhere else. No one was ever quite sure why, but they knew it’s where they could find him. “Hey, brat. Breakfast.” Came the short message.
The younger one turned his head to glance at Zion and nodded, “Alright.” He acknowledged before going back to gazing across the large expanse of yard and gardens into the woods, which were illuminated by the first rays of sunlight that reflected off the dew droplets on the leaves and blades of grass. Everything was hazed over with a fog that blanketed the ground, slowly clearing as it rose higher due to the lower- temperature months approaching them.
“What the hell is your problem?” Zion demanded, stopping inches away from the younger one.
Kali blinked and looked up at him, “I don’t have one.” He assured, “Why would you think that I did?” The slightly-lighter haired boy studied the sitting one, who had one leg dangling off the edge of the roof, the other serving as a resting place for his chin as he watched the morning slowly progress. Before the younger one could react, Zion was on him, pinning him to the roof and straddling his waist. Kali frowned slightly and shifted, “What are you doing?” He asked, though knew the answer all too well.
“Shut up.” The order came in a firm voice as Zion glared at the boy under him before crushing their lips together in a rough kiss. A soft whimper escaped the smaller boy as the elder’s tongue forced its way in between the half-unwilling lips, licking around the inside of the innocent one’s mouth as a hand came up behind the latter’s head to force their mouths even closer together. Sharp teeth came down to bite a soft lip and easily broke the skin, ripping it as blood began to leak into the taller boy’s mouth. Zion’s tongue lapped at the blood for a moment before sucking roughly on the soft skin.
A hand slowly trailed up Kali’s thigh, razor sharp nails that were naturally pointed ripped small holes into his pants and dug into the tender flesh that was revealed. An attempt to shift away from the assaulting boy proved to only make him more aggressive as he yanked the boy back to him and move his hand further up. Zion’s claw-like nails were removed briefly from the younger one’s leg as his hand gently cupped Kali’s crotch as a small smirk crossed the dominate boy’s lips at the small whimper that such an action elicited. A yelp sounded as the hand that was holding him quickly tightened its grip and his nails once again pierced softer, more tender skin.
A soft protest left Kali’s lips, but it was swallowed by Zion’s own as he pressed their lips back together in another fevered kiss. The latter slid his free hand up the smaller boy’s shirt, tracing over his stomach muscles and delicate skin that covered his chest. If anything, Kali was fragile-looking, but Zion had proved time and time again he didn’t break quite so easily. The white-haired boy sucked on the sore lip lightly as he traced his fingertips over one of Kali’s nipples, grazing it with the tip of his nail. His other hand mimicked the soft touches and began to gently massage him. The sudden change in severity of the contact brought out a small moan from the younger boy, who was now adjusting his position slightly closer to the other body.
Suddenly, Zion broke away and stood up and away from him. At Kali’s questioning look, he simply rolled his eyes and walked back through the door he had come from. Sighing softly, the one left behind composed himself, running a hand through his slightly ruffled hair and soon followed Zion’s path.

Okay, next chapter I’ll actually get into the plot of the fic (yes, there is one around here somewhere…) And more smut ahead for sure, after all, we all know we want Suki to lose his clothes!
Thanks to Sekre and epica for reviewing!
