Isis discovered
Chapter Two
Slowly creeping down the winding staircase he began to hear a
strange noise that got louder the closer he got.what is it? he muttered
under his breath. coming to a stop everything was dark except a small
light coming from a small black door to his left. Quietly Eric moved to investigate
when he heard a loud crash like something being thrown up against the
door then a muttered "damn" could be heard." What the hell" he thought
as he inched closer to the door while the smell of mold and something unidentifiable
permitted the air holding the gun steady in his right hand while being plastered to the right side of the door. "Ok here goes nothing." he chanted to himself then with a quick flick of his wrist threw open the door and yelled FREEZE. What he saw surprised and strangely
pissed him off. In the middle of the dimly lit room a small form sat huddled against
the bare peeling gray wall while glaring at the man standing over her with
a long whip in one hand and a small cutting knife in the other. "Hey yer not spose to be here!" Muttered the all to clearly drunk man. Unless you want to have fun with
this little freak to. Taunted the stumbling man. Eric saw and heard all of this but all
he saw was a pair of fierce glowing eyes but upon further inspection you could almost
see almost smell her fear. Drop the weapons or I will be forced to shoot." Eric yelled
while circling the man inching closer to the huddled form which had yet to move.
Yeah well you don't have the guts. Jeered the drunk and increasingly angry man
who began to stalk him momentarily forgetting the planned "fun" he had wanted to
have with the subject. Eric gave him one more warning then fired when
the man lunged at him. Quickly pocketing his weapon he turned
and had to quickly fend off a flurry of punches and kicks. The girl seeing the
man with the short brown hair felt something almost like excitement race up her
back. Then a loud pop shocked her into attacking fearing he was going to turn
on her next.Not if I can help it. She viciously thought. The attacks went on for
a while until With a drop to the floor a sweep of his leg he knocked her onto
the floor where he quickly pinned her. While ignoring the pleasant sensation he got
from her constant squirming he tried to comfort her while she kept muttering
something that sounded like Egyptian. After a while she began to tire so while still holding
her he slowly stood lifting her in his arm. She's really light. He thought to himself as
he carefully and quietly walked back to the stairs while balancing the now sleeping
girl who he still could not see.
