The Date....Well Date Prep Anyways
The days flew by,and Friday arrived faster than Jillien had expected. It was about 3 o'clock in the afternoon and she sat idly on her couch eating ice cream, trying to decide whether or not she was going to attend the date. About a hour of thinking and half a gallon of rocky road later, she heard her door open and someone walk in.
"Jillien!" Layla shouted walking up to her sister, "What are you doing sitting here?! You're supposed to be getting ready!"
Jillien groaned and layed back on her couch, placing the ice cream on the coffee table.
"I don't even know if I'm going!" She yelled in a strained voice, "I mean, come on. Why should I go? I don't know anything about him; for all we know he could be a stalker, psycho, serial killer, rapist, highly attractive smooth talking gang leader..."
"Will you stop thinking the worst?! He could be all of those things, but he could also, and most likely will be a charming normal guy, that just wants to spend the evening with my beautiful sister."
Jillien rolled her eyes and sat up, only to see Layla running around grabbing various things, such as short dresses, jewelery, accessories, make-up... sexy lingerie. She only stopped to look at the time and yell at her sister, who refused to get up off her
very comfortable couch. Eventually she got fed up with her Jilli's resistance, and somehow got the strength to knock her sister off the couch and literally drag her to the bathroom, throw her in and hold the door closed. She waited til she heard the shower turn on and the curtain close before returning to her task of finding the perfect outfit for tonight.
Thirty minutes later, Jillien emerged from the bathroom wrapped in her purple and black fuzzy robe. She hadn't even taken a step before she was grabbed and thrown in a chair by her sister who was still running around like a crazy maniac. This was the second time she had been tossed around, and quite frankly she was starting to feel like a rag doll instead of a human being. As soon as her ass made contact with the cold metal chair, that at this time she regret having, Layla set to work on her hair and make up. It was impressive the way she was able to put on eye shadow and blow dry Jillien's hair at the same time. Though when Layla attempted to use eyeliner, Jillien, who feared for her eyes, ripped it away and put it on herself. Twenty minutes, a headache, and a stress tab later; Layla stepped back to observe her "master piece", and she was quite pleased, to say the least.
"Jilli-bear, if you don't get layed or at least kissed tonight, then it will be clear to the world... no, the UNIVERSE, that this man has absolutely no taste what so ever."
Jillien turned around to look at herself in her full length mirror and gasped, she wore a beautiful short (but not too short) black halter dress with cute, black, closed toed, 1-inch heals. Her hair was given enough volume to make her hair seem wavy and her make-up was very light and simple. As for jewelery, a thin silver chain adorned her neck, she also had on a pair of small silver leaf-shaped studs, and to finish the entire look off, Layla placed a sheer purple shall around her shoulders.
"So," Layla asked in anticipation, "What do you think?"
Jillien turned and sighed, "Don't you think this is a little too formal for a first date?"
"You were the one who told me, that he told you to dress nice!" She growled out in annoyance.
Jillien cocked her head to the side and pushed her finger to her glossy lips, "Oh yea... I forgot... silly me!"
Layla rolled her eyes as she walked over to her purse. She then took an object out of her purse and placed it in the hand bag she chose for she sister. Glancing at the clock, her eyes widened when she realized that they had only 25 minutes to get there. The cafe was a 20 minute walk from Jillien's apartment and most likely a 30 minute walk in heals. Layla turned around so she could grab Jilli and run out of there, when she realized that her sister was already walking out the front door. She ran to catch up with her sister, but some how crashed into her knocking them both to the ground.
"What the fuck?!" Layla yelled when she realized Jillien had walked back into the apartment instead of walking out.
"You are crazy if you think I'm going outside without a jacket! It's too fucking cold!"
Layla quickly stood up and helped up her sister then quickly ushered her out the door.
"Thats the point, stupid!" The elder of the two yelled, "If he sees that you are cold, then he will offer you his jacket.."
"Assuming he has one.."
"Will you shut up and let me talk?! Anyways, as I was saying; he will offer you his jacket, and then that will be on less item of clothing that you will have to remove later."
Jillien coughed and looked away from her sister, "You know, you are making it extremely hard to believe that sex is what you always think about."
"What can i say sa..."
"Sex is my anti-drug, I know; I know. Its the story of your life, the motto you live by, the moral of your stories... and you say it enough times to where every single living organism on this God for-saken planet knows that sex is Layla Rae's anti-drug."
Before Laya could respond, Jilian stopped and turned towards her. She then realized that they had arrived at the small cafe, and quickly spotted a man she assumed to be him. It wasn't hard to figure, for he was the only man standing in front of the cafe wearing black slacks and a very nice green button up shirt, holding a red rose and who kept checking his watch. Jillien, upon arriving at their destination, had spotted Caleb leaning up against the window that overlooked the street. The closer she got, the more her nerves were making her have second thoughts. So many thoughts were running through her head; thoughts of worry, thoughts of the worst possible case-scinario, thoughts of how much she regretted telling her sister about the date, however; one thought screamed loud and clear over all of the rest, 'Oh my God! This is so cliche!'
