Krum's anger and Bali's disloyalty?
For the next couple of days, Vision kept a close eye on Bali, he followed her where Krum could not and found out why she always did volunteer work. These people she worked for considered her a saint. Bali would help in homeless shelters, orphanages, community centers. She would be a mother to youngsters and even saw a few younglings (young werewolves) he knew adoring her. He decided to see what all the fuss was.
Vision slowly entered the civic center, eyeing all the children playing various games. [How interesting, she’s in a community center run and only accepts werewolves.] He approached a youngling he knew and rubs heads with him.
“Vision, what brings you here?” the youngling asks. “I thought you only come into town when you are on assignment?”
Vision smiles at the youngling and nods towards Bali, “I’m tracking that vampire over there.”
As the youngling looks over to Bali, he returns his gaze to Vision and madly laughs at him. “Bali isn’t a vampire, she just a normal neko that helps us out. She always told that she shouldn’t be doing this, because of her master, but she says that she has a fascination with werewolves.”
Vision’s eye lit up with delight and pats the youngling on his head. “Good job. I’ll see you in a few weeks.” And with that Vision left. It was indeed too soon to grab his prize.
~meanwhile~
Krum and the rest of his clan were fighting a large pack of werewolves and the battle was quite even. The only way the fight had ended was when the grand werewolf Svenghouli emerged and called the lycans off.
He stood 7 feet tall; black silk pants, a black fishnet shirt, and a large trench coat. His four feet long hair sheltered his face so that you couldn’t detect his emotions. As he slowly approached Krum, the werewolves stood back and bowed respectfully. As he stood in front of Krum and slightly looked down.
“It’s surely been awhile. Where is your pretty red head? I’m sure she’s out at the downtown civic center for werewolves volunteering.” Svenghouli said.
Krum looked towards his clan members with confusion. “What in the hell are you talking about?” Krum stated with anger in his eyes.
With a small chuckle, Svenghouli replied, “go and ask her.” And with that the lycans left, leaving the Black Lotus clan utterly confused.
“We must find Bali,” Krum said as he ran off towards the center of downtown, otherwise known as lycans territory.
~meanwhile~
Bali was walking from the civic center to a local café to sit and enjoy a smoothie when Krum appeared out of no where, and pulled her into the darkness. By the time Bali was able to comprehend her surroundings, they were back home in the mansion.
“What the hell is your problem?” Bali yelled at Krum, whom was in a very pissed mood.
“Why were you in lycan territory? I specifically told you not to be around there.”
“Why do you care now? I’ve been volunteering there since we moved into this house. The money that paid for this house was from the people who donated there. They’ve been good to me. Now what is wrong?”
“I will not have you in the hands of the enemy. They will use you against our family and kill you when you are of no use to them.”
“Hey! It’s not like I’m defenseless. I can take care of myself. Heck, even Svenghouli has granted me immunity over there just for healing his wounds on the brink of death!”
It was at this Krum eyes lit up with rage and he struck Bali across her face. She was laying on the ground, covering her stomach in fear.
“How dare you help are enemy!”
”I didn’t know. He was the one who told me I was pregnant. Cloudius! Come here!”
And Cloudius entered the room confused to see the situation in front of him. There was his Sire, lying on the floor shielding herself from an enraged Krum. Figuring out that Bali called him, he slowly made his way to her to see if she was okay. “Yes Bali?”
“Take me away from here. I want to stay in the apartment you have away from the house.” Cloudius eyebrows rose at the fact she did not call the mansion a nest. “I don’t want to be near Krum right now. It’s not safe.”
Cloudius cautiously retrieved Bali from the room and took her from the house.
